Many shrines and altars can be found in Cyrodiil, the land of a thousand cults. These shrines are dedicated to a wide range of entities, including hero-gods and saints of the Cyrodiilic empires, to prominent daedric princes, all the way to the Nine Divines themselves. Functionally, these shrines are similar to their counterparts found in Morrowind, being able to either cure common diseases or poisons, restore your attributes, or provide you with a minor blessing; they are, however, unable to cure blight diseases should you have caught any while in Morrowind. Typically these services cost 25 gold each, though members of the Order of Itinerant Priests may take advantage of them for 10 gold if they are below the rank of Gyrovague or for free if they are at or above that rank.
Greater Saint Shrines[edit]
In contrast with the shrines of minor saints, the shrines of greater saints are typically larger, more ornate, and found inside chapels dedicated to their saint or a related saint. At times, these chapels are equal in status and stature to those of the Divines themselves.

- St. Falx and Falx Carius
- St. Julia and Julia Basilla
- St. Kaye and Kaye
Nine Divines Altars[edit]
Generic altars to the Nine Divines can be found in many chapels and temples across Cyrodiil. Other than their appearance, the main difference between these and the other shrines is their inability to provide you with a blessing. Instead, they are only able to cure common diseases, cure poisons, or restore your attributes. The locations where Nine Divines altars can be found are listed below:
