Haela Ysonian

Haela and Kuram in Anvil

Haela Ysonian is an Imperial Healer and a Robe-Bearer of the Itinerant Priests. She has been traveling the Gold Road with a minotaur companion named Kuram, and aims to take up service at the Temple of Dibella Estetica in Anvil. However, her journey is not without troubles, and she will initially be encountered outside Swordmoth Legion Fort following an attack by Bosmeri necromancers that saw Kuram taken captive. Later, you may find her inside the ruins of Lindasael (with a frustrated Kuram on the road outside), looking for a suitable gift for the primate of the Dibellan temple. The gift is ultimately rejected, forcing Haela and Kuram to seek service elsewhere. With your assistance, they may ultimately find a chapel that welcomes them - specifically the Morihaus-worshiping Temple of the First Breath, where their journey ends.

Haela and Kuram appear to go a long way back, having joined the Order together while in Cyrodiil City. It's a metropolis that she describes almost wistfully:

"City of silk and shrines -- you'd call it the most pious place in the Empire by the sheer volume of grandiose temples, but somehow I doubt all the merchant princes and dockyard lords of Caer Ruma and Ilum are so sincere in their worship. Not altogether a bad place, though. They say it's the starry heart of the world, and standing on the shore of the Rumare looking up at White-Gold, you might almost believe it."
