Online:Molag Bal Illusion Imp
This article is about the pet. For the creature, see Molag Bal Illusion Imp (creature).
- Why would a mage train an imp to cast a seeming of the God of Schemes? Who knows? But this tiny Dark Father, this diminutive Prince of Pain, this undersized Lord of Lies is almost cute. Almost.

The Molag Bal Illusion Imp is an imp non-combat pet that is trained to disguise itself as Molag Bal. It can be summoned by combining three magical fragments bought from the Impresario during events in 2024. It is a Morphing Collectible: once summoned, the Molag Bal Illusion Imp can be transformed into various items, including head/body markings, a personality, and two as of yet undisclosed collectibles. Its default name is "Mini Bal".
The base fragments and upgrade fragments will be released incrementally throughout 2024 during various events that year. Once the final fragment for a particular upgrade is released, the subsequent event will switch to a new upgrade and the previous fragments will no longer be available for purchase. All of these fragments will be made available one last time during the 2024 New Life Festival.
Base Pet[edit]
In order to acquire the base Molag Bal Illusion Imp pet, you must take part in in-game events and buy three magical fragments. Fragments can only be bought with Event Tickets. All three fragments were introduced during the Guilds and Glory Celebration event.

Upgrades[edit]
The Molag Bal Illusion Imp pet can be upgraded once you have collected various fragments which are sold by the Impresario during various events in 2024 for 10 each. Upgrading the pet removes it from your collections, but it can be re-obtained by collecting the first three fragments again. There are four upgrades for the base pet: a personality, and three other unknown rewards. All of the 2023 fragments will be available again from the Impresario during the final event of the year, the New Life Festival. Fragments for the Molag Bal Illusion Imp pet and its morphs will no longer be available after the 2024 New Life Festival ends.
Planemeld's Master Markings[edit]
- Reverence for the Lord of Lies prompts some to adorn their temples with the horns of Bal. Terrifying in their simplicity, they should deter assailants. But some swear they can see the Lord of Schemes himself staring back from within.
The first upgrade released in Q1 consists of the Planemeld's Master Face Art head markings and the Planemeld's Master Body Art body markings, obtained by combining three different upgrade fragments with a Molag Bal Illusion Imp pet. The Molag Bal Illusion Imp will then morph into the Planemeld's Master markings.
