Quest-Related Events

You'll find him south of the Voljar Farmhouse where he standing around the hay piles. When you approach him:

"Watch your step around here, stranger."

He will complain about the death and destruction left by the Stormfists at the meadery. He will direct you to speak to his brother if you wish to get the meadery running again:

"Stupid Stormfists. Stupid Orcthane. What a mess they made!"

What are you talking about?

"Fildgor Orcthane and his Stormfists! Nothing but cowards and thieves, if you ask me.
Soldiers are supposed to be honorable, noble. But they slaughtered the Voljar family. They killed unarmed civilians! And they killed my brother's wife."

Why did they slaughter the Voljars?

"They wanted free mead. Can you believe it? Savages, the lot of them!
My brother Haraldar plans to get the meadery up and running again. If you want to lend a hand, talk to Haraldar. He's over by the farmhouse."

I'll talk to Haraldar.

Speaking to him after accepting the quest:

"When your family needs help, you drop everything and come running. I don't want to let Haraldar down."

After speaking with Haraldar:

"I'm not sure I want to make a career out of crafting mead, but I sure enjoy drinking the stuff! Come to think of it, I could use a mead right about now."

After you got the giant's toe, he will be found outside the Meadery, working as the greeter. He seems drunk:

"I'm the official greeper—I … I mean, greeter.
