Helgarth is a Nord crusader who is a potential recruit for the Order of the Dragon. Unlike the others, however, you won't be able to find him right off—he's out crusading; you'll find him at the Lake Arrius rebel camp. Later on, he'll ask you to accompany him to his home village in Skyrim, to see how things are and to find a woman he'd left behind. He also accompanies you and Pelagius into the catacombs below the Order Castle and is murdered by Pelagius. If you do the quest Dead or Alive, you'll run into his spirit and acquire a stone that you can use to summon him to this plane.

When you first meet him, Helgarth is wearing a full set of fur armor and wields a bandit sword. After being recruited, he upgrades to Dragon Knight armor (cuirass, greaves, and gauntlets); he wields Helgarth's Warsword after The Catacombs is complete.
