...I am so, so sick of social media. I have to restrain from smacking my friends lately. Just, I'm not one of those people that has to live on facebook or twitter and it seems I'm a dying breed. (Also, I'm in my 20s, not old).
"auto zoom" when scrolling on pics
"Mods, downloads, and reviews" doesn't seem to fit the aims of the UESP as they are. Wiki articles about important mods (such as TR for Morrowind, for example) is one thing, concurrencing TES Nexus is another.
"More content" and "site speed" are always desirable, that's why it's marked greatly even though it's already satisfactory. Mods and reviews are undesired because this is a compendium of knowledge, not a fansite -- if the reviews are kept outside main space, then it's fine.
Mods: I think reviews of mods would be okay, but yet another mod page with another mod manager is unnecesary. There are already enough mods supporting install only with their choice of manager, this would become worse if there are even more
A "related articles" section would be cool. I'm not sure if these currently exist, but on the odd chance that I use the other wiki, it always has "related articles", which are sometimes fun to read.
A better overall map for each game would be great. Even on a desktop the ones you have are hard to use.
A bit more detail on certain non plot characters would be great and of course the design could improve but other than that great job!
A clear (and safe) mods download page!
A community page with the Skyrim Nexus for recommended mods and the like (such as the famed Unofficial Patches) would be lovely pages to have.
a free app for Android and Apple would be fantastic!
A mobile app would be very convenient but i don't see much necessity for an overhaul on the sites. If anything, the time should be dedicated to finishing all the projects that are already in place.
A mobile site (or in my case, a Nokia app) would be greatly desirable with low bandwidth usage (in my country there is no limitless mobile internet yet). Also, some mobile browsers do not support collapsible topics (but apps always do). For the others, Of course, more content is always good, also speed, but they are very high quality and fast as it is. As for a new desing, I personally like the current one.
a mobile site / app would be amazing, content is already godmode, but the more the better!, site design is great but it would be cool to make it look ...well cooler, faster page loads aren't really a big deal but sometimes rarely rarely ever it will freeze sometimes, and mods are something i've never seen on here which would be cool

A mobile site or app would be GREAT. Preferably an app. More and improved content because I enjoy reading lore but I wish there were more pictures as it is hard to visualize things from other games sicne I've never really played them, since the graphics are just too bad. Mods, Downloads, and Reviews would be a nice feature to add on an already trustworthy site.
A mobile site or even a mobile app would be highly apprecated. I use android so often that I'm usually on my phone more so than a computer except when I'm gaming and playing elder scroll games.
A mobile UESP app would be a fantastic idea. I use this site daily and it would be of great help for me to be able to use a mobile version of it. The content is absolutely superb, so as long as it's kept to its current standard, I don't really care about changes. The layout, as I have said, is one of the things that made me use this site and I don't really want to see it changed. The page loads very quickly, and everything else I'm completely indifferent to.
A mod section should only include the most complex mods, like what is on the UESP with Tamriel Rebuilt
A monthly review of the best mods would be interesting, perhaps even rejuvenating to some rather stagnant projects, (Tamriel Rebuilt).
A more thorough guide to mods, and their compatibility would be nice. Espescially if there were multiple user reviews in one place, as opposed to a few short, outdated lists with one person's opinions.
A new design and better site navigation would be great
A new design is not necessary. The current one is already both appealing and functional.
A new site design *could* be nice, but the current layout and UI are already so good it might be bad idea to mess with it. Maybe do a trial design to see if it can be improved, and let the users decide.
A review of mods is desired, not necassery downloads of them. Links towards Nexus or other simular pages is enough. But yeah. With the hundreds of "must have mods", it would be nice to have a obective opionion about some of the mods that most people find invaluable. Not just the big ones. (Like OOO for Oblivion or TR for Morrowind), but the ones that really just makes a great TES game into epic one. Like, keychain, coloured map or DarkUI for Oblivion, SkyUI, Map with roads and localized thieves guilds quests for Skyrim.
A section dedicated to established mods would be pretty impressive, but not necessary.
A spoiler-free option with certain parts of the wiki (Such as Lore). If you make a way to mark certain parts of the wiki text as "spoiler" with tags/code, you could make it an option for people browsing to choose if they do/don't want to see the spoiler text.
A template for video guides/snippets might be nice.
A version of the site, available to download on a mobile device for internet-free gaming or researching.

About the social medias, I am okay with Google, and Twitter, but I hate seeing Facebook everywhere
Add a game-specific search bar or an option to search for information on a particular game (for instance, specifically search for "Alteration spells" found in Skyrim)
Addind Mod content / reviews would be great, but also a very time consuming and resource intensive undertaking.

an app is a great idea, especally those google maps y'all have. there's already alot of content but it never hurts to have more, or to go a little more indepth. I like the way the site is designed and don't see a need to change it. if the pages load faster great, but it's pretty fast already. adding mod reviews is a great idea, there's some of that in the forums already but an editoral or something would be cool. I don't use the forums or social media that offten so no real opinion. teaming up with conventions could be fun.
an app with all the lore categorized by animal, place, year would be amazing but you'd probably have to go through bethesda to be allowed

An App would be very useful. Intergration with Social media, especially Twitter, could do wonders for the website and it's users.

An Elder Scrolls convention?! That would be awesome! Also, I've always wanted mods to be featured on this website. I'm pretty sure some are, but most are not. You should invite modders to create their own pages. I don't have a smartphone, but an app for a smartphone is a great idea. The amount of people that visit this site will only increase once ESO comes out, so you guys should be prepared for that; the few weeks after V came out weren't that good for the site.
An up-to-date list of all game bugs, showing only bugs which are still around, and on what platform.

Any major modifications should (I would hope) not detract from the official information. So long as canon and non-cannonical sources are clearly shown to be seperate.
Anything concerning page design/load time/etc. should not be touched as it is already perfect.

As a fairly new visitor, I'd love to see a feed on the front page covering the less 'important' news, with focus on little tidbits on the developers, speculation, and round-ups of community creations, etc.
As far as I'm concerned the site is the wiki, anything that diverts attention from the wiki is undesirable

As I'm not a registered user of this site, or Social Media sites, and I do not possess any mobile devices, I would like more mods and downloads. Of course, that would be more useful to me if I had the PC version instead of the PS3 version. On that note, I'd like more news regarding the PS3 release of Dawnguard. It seems like I'm getting the shaft here.
As long as the information on the wiki is of high standard and usefulness, little else matters.
As mentioned earlier, think that content wise sometimes there is personal opinion in information pages.
As of now, anything else they add would be extra.
Aside from the search engine I love the simplicity, and the articles are almost always of great quality.
at least i would like improvement on the mod part. such as the Tamriel Rebuilt mod guide here on the UESP.
Better integration of the social pages with the Wiki itself may lead to me using them more often.

Certain item list pages obviously cannot contain pictures for all of listed items for space and file size reasons, gallery pages could be added and linked to instead.

Content is pretty up to date, so no complaint there. The site is nicely laid out, so no complaint. Everyone wants a page to load in like .1 milisecond, but there is really no current complaint either.

Creating pages for big glitches might be a good idea, since that's why many people come here.
Current setup of UESP is imho good enough, Im not saying theres no room for improvement, but the way which UESP provides and stores information (huge amount of it, good page layout, reliability) is really good and shouldnt be changed.

emobile app would just cost money to create plus if your looking up things your are at home with your gaming system. mods would add to site traffic and yield higher paying advertisements

Firstly, you work so hard to make your website as wonderful as it is. Secondly, I would love to see reviews for various pages (although I also feel that's what the talk pages are for). Thirdly, I do think it would be difficult to get the completely diverse UESP community to meet up (unfortunately) and finally, it would be amazing to have a facebook page. All of the elder scrolls based pages won't hesitate to join.
Fonts changed in map design to a more readable script. Also, font size is too large for the maps displayed.
For all of these if you ever put these into action just don't over do it. If you make an app or integrate with social media just don't shove it in our face. The site is great now but if you guys are wanting a new site design then try to make it as simple as possible and take a vote then see how the community likes it.
For me, the most important part of the page is the wiki, so I can't really say I desire any of the other features. For mods, I'm using the Nexus, so there's no need for a second source really. The content already provided is great, but of course, more information in this respect is often also more value :D
For me, the redesign and the mobile view would be the first things. I do not mean a "high-tech" redesign, just something new.

For Oblivion there were maps for specific ruins, forts, and caves. I would love to see those for Skyrim. I'm even willing to help if instruction is given.

For the mods, there's already the nexus. A review for the mods you can find on the nexus maybe a good idea. Or tutorials on how to make mods. But don't go overload the site with mods to downloads when you have the nexus.
Forget apps and social media integration. Elder scrolls are single player for a reason. MOBILE SITE VERSION! ES games don't handle task switching well, so I like being able to pull up info on my phone as needed. Works fine as is, but a mobile interface will allow for smoother browsing and quite possibly increased ad revenue.

Getting real player input while reading a quest guide would be nice.
Getting your site known would be key. Keeping up as many pages as possible to have accurate and well made examples goes a long way
Give us an option to choose a 'default' game so that every search we make pertains only to that game. As opposed as showing up information for 2 or 3 different games.
Going of the mod idea (which I find most desirable), maybe there could be a dedicated modding tutorial section of the wiki? Obviously there is the official modding wiki, but the users have put way more time into making mods and gaining experience then anyone ever put in that wiki, in my humble opinion.

Having an IRC chat as part of a Mobile App would be useful, especially if there was a more social aspect or section, if you know what i mean.

Honestly, as long as the content quality remains the same or gets even better (I don't see how, because you are awesome) I will continue to use this site - even with loud ads because you deserve the money.
Hosting mods on here along with any other improvements you make could really make this a one stop destination for all ES needs. planet elderscrolls wasn't very pretty, and even Skyrim nexus has some navigation issues that just kinda bog things down. I'm not a big fan of the steam workshop either because it wants to load the content I downloaded and brings up error messages and complains about syncing with the cloud and all that fun unnecessary inconvenience.
Hosting some mods might be nice, although I say that as a mod-deprived X-box player.

I already use other sites for mods. Curated mod lists and "Way I Play/ Where I Play" pages for specific purposes would be nice, though.
I already use uesp on iPhone without problems, and I prefer to have a full version anyway. Having mods may make uesp less of a "as good as official would be" site.

I always use a mobile device to use UESP, and I think an app would be great. I have the site made into a home screen link, but an app would be awsome. As for mods and downloads... Who doesn't love those?

I am greatly pleased with the current content of the site, but I think there's always room for improvement on every aspect of what makes something great and enjoyable.
I am not liking the integration with social media on other websites, so to say that it is 'undesired' for me is very underrated.

I checked 'Greatly Desired' for "Improved Content" & "Site Design" ONLY because I want the site to stay active & fresh, NOT that it needs improvement in these categories!
I could use a iPad app... Very much so. I don't really see a problem with the current site design. Reviews could be cool, but it'd be hard to pull off since lots of Elder Scroll reviews have a good amount of bias to them (depending on whether they're Oblivion/Morrowind/Skyrim fanboys, which greatly affects the review since the player looks for different things)
I despise Facebook and iPhones and all that stuff, so that should explain my rating in regard to these oh so modern social media. I'd not attend a convention probably, because I'm not so involved with Elder Scrolls anymore, but I think it'd be a nice idea. Wouldn't mind reviews and downloads, but don't miss them either, there's the Nexus and stuff, after all. Focus on wiki content, you're a wiki after all.

i do not thing this site needs to change anything regarding its layout or servers because I believe this site is a great way for fans to consolidate information regarding tes.
I do not think it is necessary for Mod downloads through this site, but a place for mod reviews would be great here.
I do not think UESP should offer blogs - there are already plenty of sites for that - although reviews of mods would be good (though may turn controversial, as opinions differ). The only downloads I think would be suitable is for essential but hard to find files, eg. DOSbox and similar files for older TES games.
I do really like the layout and design, it is easy to read and navigate. Even on a small screen. I particularly like all the reference images you have of the people the houses and the places. One thing which may be useful is a map of paths around Skryim, or how to get to places. The large map is helpful, but often in game it is very difficult to figure out where to go to a location, even with clairvoyance you can go round and round a mountain and still not find the path. I am on PS3 so mod inclusion is irrelevant. Regarding blogs forums etc. I do not go to Uesp for chat or forum's I go to reddit. Intergration of News from the blog would be good. I think you are also very good at clearly marking which references are specific to each dlc especially helpful for PS3 users, so we are not looking for stuff that does not exist.
I don't have a lot of experience with any game other than Oblivion Game of the Year on PS3 and really don't understand some info from lack of experience..
I don't have a phone, so mobile optimisation isn't an issue for me. I'd love to honestly see a roleplaying ideas section like there was for Oblivion, but for the other TES games as well. Site speed seems fine enough. Any way to have an alternative to the Nexus sites is fine - I can't stand those sites' staff, and I'd love to see the ability for reviews. And integration with social media.. it would be nice to have share/like buttons at the bottom or top of every page here. Fan meetups/conventions - I never go to those sorts of things (though I plan on going to RuneScape's convention next year called RuneFest).
I don't have much to say on adding content, as I don't know what should be added--I find everything I look for pretty well. A new site design is unneeded (unless lots of people want it, etc), in my opinion, as the current one works better than any I could think of. As far as modding support, I believe that should be left to the Nexus, as their community is already quite large and covers the TES games (that I know of).
I don't know if it's possible for this site, but the Marvel Database (4th largest wiki by content) has something on the main page that promotes new blogs. Maybe something like that would be great.
I don't like the idea of mods and downloads because I feel it would dilute UESP's true strength as an information portal, instead of a file hosting site

I don't see a mobile site or app seeing much use as most people play on the computer and alt tabbing out of the game is rather simple. An increase in content, preferably more commentary based content, would be greatly appericiated. Maybe having a version that's short and to the point for those people who don't like to read.
I don't see how you could get more content, or indeed improve the content you already have. This isn't even flattery, you have an outstanding site.

I don't use a mobile for the UESP and have never an issue with page loadings. Improvements on the other points is always welcome.
I don't use mobile stuff, so I don't really care if that happens here. There's always room for more content. Pages load just fine for my tastes. I really would hate to see the UESP cluttered up with mods and the back-biting and fighting that occur with them. I'm pretty indifferent to blogs and chats -- but I HATE facebook and all that crap with a passion. I'd hate to see any of that polluting this awesome site.
I don't use social media, I don't use smart phones so don't care about those. I don't like stuff changing all the time so i don't want a site re-design unless it is absolutely necessary to keep it functioning.

I don't want a redesigned site-- it's simple and practical the way it is, and doesn't need to be rearranged for a younger/more hip crowd, for flashiness, for image, or for looks. This site is, and should be, about presenting information conveniently and efficiently. We've seen major social sites like Myspace and Facebook undergo constant redesigns and overhauls, and with each one the flashiness, the newness, and the eye-catchiness in each is emphasized, while the actual practicality and usability is gradually worn down until it's thrown out the window entirely. So, no, I don't think this site should undergo any major redesignâ€” I started using it when it was just a little-known, obscure internet wiki, and it is precisely because of that very nature of the thing retained throughout its growth (beginning largely with the announcement of Skyrim) that had kept is so popular and favorable.
I don't want to see any out of game or fan-made content on the wiki as is the case with the Imperial Library website.

I feel owe explanation: I don't play TES on movile so I don't care a lot about moviles thinking about TES. I think content can always be improved, specially in Skyrim articles, although I completely understand that requires a lot of time and work. I love the Design of UESP and would be quite sad if it changed. In Spain I do not have problems with the page load speeds. When I visited Great Britain I visited UESP quite a few times : P and did not have problems neither (I hope this is useful). I honestly appreciate and find relaxing not to encounter thing about mods, even information about them on the UESP, since I consider UESP is a information site purely for the original games' content and information. I thing is great the last comments you usually do about bug that can be solved with certain mods or "This bug is fixed by the Unofficial Oblivion Patch", but I like UESP to be about the TES and not about mods or downloads. I'd like to read reviews about the game. I think I may be more (positively) forced to take part on the site if there would be a Better Integration of the Forums/Chatroom/Blog with the Wiki. As I have said I honestly play TES in order to get relaxed and disconnect about other things. This is, I would not give any use to a facebook or social-thing related to the site. I think Fan Meetups/Conventions would be great. The bad point is that I'm very far away from USA : ((.
I feel that mods may be outside the scope of the UESP. I feel that mod information should stay with the mod community sites.
I feel you guys are doing a great job! But there is always room for improvment. I'm sure there is more content or editing you can do, even if I can't think of any at the moment. I would rather not see mods on this site personally but wouldn't hold it against you guys. Great job overall!
I find that Social Site Integration would take away from the easy use of UESP.
I frequently access UESP using my smartphone while playing TES since it's inconvenient to tab out, and using the site on my phone is often difficult.
I hate all social media widgets that use bandwidth and look completely out-of-place, also mods and downloads should not be integrated, for there is already TESnexus where to get them
I have noticed lately that some of the edits to the UESP have actually reduced the accuracy of certain pages. I might view a page once and come back later to see that its been changed for the worse. Some type of verification should be helpful to keep users from editing out good information.

I honestly don't see how much more integration can come between the forums, chatroom & the wiki. Also: Convention? Seriously? An idea so strange I had never considered it.

I like the idea of meetups, but PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE don't join this social media integration crap. I hate it. It's the only thing listed that may actually stop me from using this site. And I love this site.
I like the idea of mod reviews and "staff pick" type compilations, but there are already a large number of mod sources, and a pair of more or less "official" systems in the Steam Workshop and the Skyrim Nexus. A review system would be neat, but there would preferably be restrictions in place-- a "review" for a single texture replacement, for example, would be a waste of space and time.

I like this site how it looks like now that's why my opinion on 'New site design' is undesired.
I live in Norway, so althought I would like conventions organized by UESP I will unfortunaly be unlikely to be able attend.
I love the content that is provided, and it would be great to get any additional content possible. I think the variety and amount is amazing, but more is always good! :)

I mostly desire a mobile app for iPhone, and more or improved content.
I must admit that i have never seen any informations about Mods, excluding official plugins, in this site. On the other hand i can't remember if i searched for any here. Some informations about most useful or innovative Mods would be highly appropriate. Or, if it already exists, it could be more visible. And more content is always nice, although this much should be enough for anyone.

I never had any issues with Page Loads. And I never noticed there was Forums, a Chatroom and a Blog.
I never used the forums or looked at the blogs so far. I might do so in the future, though, if their integration into the articles and topics were to improve

I rather like the site how it is but if by new design you don't mean anything to radical then I wouldn't mind but I like its usability, I would like to be able to refer a page to Facebook through liking it, I don't use Twitter and rarely use Google's +1 thingy.

I really don't want a new site design that interferes with readability. The cream bkgrd is good! Please don't change it! I'm not crazy for conventions, facebook, or apps. I like the site to stay focused on accurate and thorough information not feeding troll events or social frenzy media. The inaccuracy that these spheres throw around is rampant and provides an antithesis to the purpose of a wiki page. Providing links to DLC or Mods could be neat but it shouldn't replace the research! *teacher glare*
I really like it how UESP isn't satchurated with social medias and multiple functions. I hope the site remains coherent.
I really like the discussion pages on this site. While they mostly pertain to improving/questions concerning the page itself, they also seem to serve as content that's not page-worthy

I really wish other sites would take the consideration and time that the UESP editors and administrators have. You have made an incredible site that I find to be the best Elder Scrolls site in EXISTENCE.
I say "No" to Social Media.
I should be able to (at least sometimes) reach a page directly from a search without having to click a link.
I think a mod section to UESP would "save" the site. It should be like the STEP guide, and users would be able to recommend, rate and review mods from sites like skyrimnexus. I would not recommend having a mod "download" section, since it would be unneccesary, and not be able to compete with sites like nexus. Instead, try to integrate with those sites. Make users able to recommend mods, show off screenshots and so on. I think that would be an interesting addition to this site.
I think adding mods downloads and reviews would clutter the wiki, I feel like the wiki should stick to only the vanilla content in the games and addons. A seperate website would be good though.

I think content is always a must but it's hard to say what I would mean by it. Better integration with the forums could be interesting; a summary of related topics for an article could be nice, it would need to be done carefully for performance.
I think improving UESP design would be very beneficial, and also, an App wouldn't hurt. But I definitely think improving the design, and layouts, of Informational Pages would be very helpful.

I think it's best to focus on one thing and do it very well, that is exactly what UESP provides, no need for mods, downloads, etc. I think the site design is in a good place and sometimes it's best to leave things that work alone. As for the social media intigration PLEASE DO NOT END UP DOWN THAT ROUTE!

I think it's pretty obvious that I'd like to see the floating ads changed. Also, the site stability may just be my computer, but it might be an issue. If other users brought up the same thing, then there's definitely room for improvement.

I think nexusmods.com has mods covered about as well as possible, but I guess there could be something on this site dedicated to specific high quality mods. Not necessary, though. As for design, the current design and usability of this site is great, and I hope this site doesn't get into constantly changing the layout like many sites do, especially the annoying trend of many popular sites going towards very large fonts and lots of whitespace everywhere (more of a tablet/phone kind of look - it's very annoying!)
I think reviews would be a good addition to the site. Reviews are how I get information for many of the games I buy. I know several people like this. If I can point these people to this site so they can read/watch the reviews, it could turn the on to the game, and therefore, turn them on to the site.
I think some of the pages could do with better links to related content on the wiki. Also some of the statements about the mechanics of the games could be explained in more detail.

I think the app would be redundant, considering I could access the same, if not more information by using the browser on my tablet to go the actual website. For the site design, I do not care. I DO care if it is something that is... just not attractive. This right now is perfectly fine. I like the old parchment looking color. For the mods, downloads and reviews, I think that would be a great addition to the site and would attract a wider fanbase I believe. Like I said before, a better integratio of the forums chatroom and blog with the wiki would be great, because I had no idea that they existed. I think the UESP is great as an info site, and it shouldn't go into offering mods or downloads. There are other sites that have that already. Offering that here would lead to "fragment" the availability of downloads on the internet
I think there should be a section where you can actually post your charaters stats from name, to skills, etc. this would make it very interesting to see how other people create and play the game.

I was thinking how cool it would be for those learning the dragon language, or Dovahzul as a lot of us call it, to be able to meet up at a certain place at some point in the year. If it ever became a popular "language" or you ever got a lot of votes to do a convention, you could call it "DovahCon" since "DragonCon" is already taken. Or you could do TESCon. Something one to two syllables.
I would definitely invest good money toward an offline app -- even if it was very limited or incomplete -- regardless of price or file size!

I would find it difficult to return to UESP if I found it changed. I like the way it is now, as everything is easy to find and not confusing. Changing the look/design would be a horrible move for me. Look at what Google's doing to their background customization. They're losing users because of it.
I would like to perhaps see more content, for example in the morrowind page having the stock armors individual pictures of the armor instead of a group shot. Like how you have it set up for Oblivion and Skyrim. But that is my major desire.

I would love to see some sort of add-on feature where the add-ons are vetted by certain trusted users. I go to Skyrim Nexus for add-ons but it can be kind of a crapshoot and wading through all the x-rated content kind of sucks. It would be cool to be able to download a kind of "UESP Approved" kind of add-on, where people know that if they get it from this site it's going to be a solid piece of work. But that's just an idea I've had in my head for a while.

I would love, and also greatly benefit from, modding tutorials pertaining to the Creation Kit and perhaps scripting.
I would only enjoy viewing mod content if its lore friendly, especially since from my experience, the Stirk mod that is currently featured on the wiki is a bit buggy and (in my opinion) feels a bit out of place having a wiki page covering the entire mod. Otherwise, a link to some of the more popular mod sites should be provided, since it ties in with the "breath over deapth" view of mod coverage on the site. It would be nice to see some conventions, since those are usually a fun time for fans. I also think that the forums/chatrooms/blogs should be a bit more noticable to the general viewing public, as I didn't know that there was one.

I would't presume to tell you guys what to do with your site nor how to run it, I think it's fantastic just the way it is. However, since you're asking for feedback, I would say that more functionality or integration with social features would be a great asset..
I wouldn't mind a bit of an easier time browsing the site with my iPhone, but I really don't ever have any problems with the site.
I'd actually prefer no integration with Social Media but that's a personal choice and I doubt it'd hinder my use of UESP if it was added.

I'd like mods (I like how UESP is one of the few sites that integrates mods into the wiki and provides tutorials. I would also like articles on mods, but don't want it to compete with mod hosting sites like TESNexus. Perhaps it could be a way to supply mod devs with their own wiki page which is hosted here? It would be nice to access info on various mods (from users) from this site. For example, I could read detailed articles about the various enemies and items in the Moonpath to Elsweyr mod.
I'd like to see articles on individual items, currently many items seem to get relegated to lists with minuscule pictures

I'd like to see more TESO content, but I realize there isn't much of it, yet. :) Also, I haven't had issues with the load times, but it's a little slower than some other (non- Elder Scrolls) wikis.
I'd love to meet more fans of the series, I find it hard to meet anyone that knows anything outside of Skyrim and Dragons. It's becoming harder and harder to meet another fan deeply entrenched into the lore and mythology of the games.
I'd rather a mobile site. When organizations make an app they temd to only consider iPhones even though this platform only has about 20% of the smartphone market.
I'd rather not have this site try to copy what the Nexus does. It would bring all sorts of headaches to the community, and end up being more work for modders (because we'd have to host files in 2 places, if this place ever becomes any significant source of mods)

If fan meetups/conventions, you should defiantly do one in the UK.
If I had to make just one negative comment, is to steer away from social media connection; I can't say I have a specific reasoning behind it, but that feature tends to create "problems"; popularity contests, loss of quality in work, focus placed on new users instead of the current fanbase, mostly biased stuff, really. Still, my best excuse is "it just doesn't feel like a good idea"; otherwise, my choices speak for themselves.

If the site were redesigned I would prefer it to keep the same colour scheme as it works very well. It also gives the impression of parchment paper (which is very appropriate)

If you can make it better then why the hell not.
If you change your site design for any reason, make sure it is a good productive one. Change just for the sake of change sucks ass. Case in point: Skyrim's inventory system.
If you create a mobile site, please add an option to go to the full site.
If you do go with the app approach, please try not to make the Android app look like a sloppy port of the iOS app. I've seen far too many Android apps go that route.
If you do make an app, remember Blackberries also exist. It's not just Androids and iPhones.

In my opinion there is little to improve on the site it functions fantastically and I trust the integrity I feel the page has. If nothing were changed I would still be a happy user, I visit everyday.
In regards to the mods- unless your collection would be better than TES nexus don't bother, if your collection WAS better (larger, more accessable) then yeah, having it all in one place would be great.
In response to the integration of the Forums/Chatroom/Blog with the Wiki, I would find this undesirable simply because I feel they should be separate, I use the forum when I need/want to and I use the Wiki when I need/want to. I think they are two separate entities with different uses and characteristics and feel that they should remain as such.
In terms of integration between wiki and the forums, i just think that on each forum member's profile (and each wiki member's talk page), there should be a section where they can write if they are on the forums (or vice versa) and if so, under what username, because, for example, i didn't know until the day before yesterday that legoless was on the forums. So that is just a little idea.
Incorporate feedback tool on every page. Include quality video walkthroughs: The wiki is losing potential visitors who watch YouTube videos instead of read walkthroughs (evidence is rising visibility of such in search results).

Integration sounds ominous. Integrating with the blog etc sounds like you'll clone Wikia's awful features and integrating with social media sounds like data stalking

it would amuse me to see a travelogue or two. following an intrepid adventurer through any given game. Like.a restaurant review: a brief playthrough, some audience participation, some good characters and humor.... What's not to love?

Last one is a bad idea. Social media will kill this site. And the reviews wouldn't be watched since people already rely on MMOx or Saio to do reviews.
Lately I haven't been a part of the community, per say, but I used to always think it would be a good idea to have a youtube channel or something for the UESP. I think making videos/guides/informational stuff about TES lore, quests, etc. would help grow the community. But, that would be a pretty huge endeavor, as you would need commentators to carry them out.
Leave mods to th eNexus, but I don't see an issue with teaming up WITH NExus. Dividing th emod community is a terrible idea. Don't do it.

Mobile access to maps is the largest issue for me. The content is great already, but if it can be improved more, the better. I like the site design as is, but would not shun for new ones. Also, if the site would include a list to some mods, if only for bug-fixing ones it would be a great help.

Mobile site would be good but it must have all the same information as the full site or it is a waste. More content and faster loading is always better. A new design would be good if it improved on the current design, but the current design is very functional, and that functionality must be retained with a new design. I like that the site is very informational, and I think mods, downloads, and reviews would take some of that away. Having pages connect to relevant forum threads would be great for nit pick information that would be impossible to put directly in the page. Facebook and other social networking sites should be forever kept away from the wiki for the same reason mods and reviews should.

modding for me is a great part of bethesda games for me and although having everything in one place would be nice, there is a lot of adult oriented content in mods and it may be best keeping the two worlds seperate

More or improved content: You've done a great job on the info, best TES site around the interwebs. Mods, downloads, reviews: My only concern is that mods will clutter the pages, as this is no vanilla game entry it most likely will fudge up here and there. And Nexus did it.

Never say no to faster page loads. the mods would be nice, being able to find lore friendly, or even just plain old fun mods here would be nice.
New Site Design isn't needed. Skinned mediawiki is great. Integration with Social Media is pointless, will probably die out well before TES does.

New site design should not be compulsory. After Planet Elder Scrolls switched from their old maroon colour scheme, to a black, horribly confusing and aesthtically displeasing one, I couldn't handle it.
New site designs and Faster page loads are undesired because i feel they are perfect for displaying and passing on helpful and interesting information to the users.
News articles about upcoming releases, bug fixes (especially the ps3 performance and dlc woes) and perhaps reviews and videos of new mods.

No reason not to want content to continue to expand. As far as mod related content goes, what the site already has (especially concerning TES III) is great. Anything more, especially mod-hosting or reviews, could get messy. Reference content for Tamriel Rebuilt, however is great, and if that were to be increased, I'd be thrilled. I'm not fond of social-media features; I find them a nuisance, cluttering interface and occaisonally unintentionally letting your friends, family, and colleauges know that you've been browsing wiki pages when you should be doing something else...

No with social media simply because of personal preference. It tends to become a "You joined this, now we STRONGLY want you to join this." A good example is Youtube and Google...

Of those features any social media is the most UNdesired for me. UESP is a wiki, not a social network. Besides, social media always bring certain privacy issues, and I do not want those on UESP. IMHO, even the current Google+ button should be removed from the site. UESP does not need such rubbish.

One of the reasons I love UESP so much is the simple design and color scheme. Please, never change it.
One thing that could be helpful is highlighting mods that help the games run better on lower end machines

Particular emphasis on an Android app; would be fantastic
Perhaps design optional layouts or skins based on each game. So you could have a skyrim layout indenticle to the UI style of skyrim, and so on. How about a world map collaboration where players can attach little pins to the map showing where they've been and what they just found, with a chat by the side of the map - perhaps it'll allow a slightly collaborative multiplayer experience in a sense!
Perhaps have a rating system for each page. For example, if many people dislike a certain page they will rate it low and any page with a low rating should be looked into.
Personal bias on my part, but I despise social networking sites, and really hate when integration for my favorite games and websites is introduced. Other than that personal preference, my focus would again be on the content portion of the wiki (without good content, you don't have a good wiki!). Having more information on game modifications would be interesting to see, though I think websites like the Nexus already fill that niche well, and I feel like perhaps UESP would be better off devoting resources to improving their existing features. I don't really like the idea of changing the site design, since I am already happy with it, but part of that is the inherent resistance to change that humans have (racial bonus?!), so I wouldn't be totally distraught over a site redesign as long as it's done well.

Personally I would put more images on items, creatures and NPCs due to the lack of some of them. And an idea would be having a special design depending on what game you're looking information on. Oblivion would get a daedric looking, and skyrim would be dragons, ancient nord and Word Walls.

Please do add more ocntent where applicable, and screw all the "social network" things. Also, forsake the "new design" ideas, as the one is awesome and requires no improvement. As I said before, I also don't use the Forums and chat things, so I don't care about them too. Please, leave the UESP mostly as it is, as that's the right direction to go in.
Please do not integrate social media and the website. "Share this on Facebook" buttons are always annoying because I never share things on Facebook so the button just gets in the way.

Regarding improved content: I have no criticisms of the content actually. "More desired" is actually theoretical; there is always room for improvement. ;) Regarding integration with social media: I don't use social media so I'm indifferent to whether it is integrated or not, but with this specific caveat: please don't integrate with social media in such a way as to make participation in social media a requirement to fully utilise this WIKI. I don't want to have to feel forced to join facebook (or whatever) to fully utilise the UESP site. Thanks.
Regarding mods, I think another download site would be undesirable. However, reviews would be nice (and maybe relevant mod information could be placed in the "notes" section of appropriate content pages for the vanilla game, maybe only for "best rated" mods according to this or some other site)
Regarding mods, there are sites that are already in existence that do it well enough, maybe integrating more with Nexus (I.E. having info on mods here, and links to UESP there?)

Site design is fine, don't change it! I feel that Mods/Dls would be clutter on this site but if you can manage it without shifting too much focus I guess I wouldn't mind. Integration of discussion and Wiki would be so great! Currently, there is some discussion held in the comments of each section of the wiki but more emphasis on it would be lovely.
Site design isn't needed in my opinion. Anything to keep the clutter down, and the information up. I don't need neon lights in my face when trying to read up on a quest.

Social stuff is nice, but it doesn't feel like this should be among the wiki's primary goals (to me at least): content and usability. That said, it would be a nice addition.

Some of these features would be a cool addition to the UESP, with the site almost reaching 20,000 articles its popularity can only go up from here.
Sometimes, whilst playing an eldder scrolls game, i alt tab to look something up (lore,gameplay,etc), and what i enjoy about the uesp is that the page isn't bombarded with irrelevant content, it's simple layout/interface; it doesn't draw you out of that "zone" towards something else. Regarding the site's design, it would be nice to be able to change the backround; nothing fancy, maybe making a few changes to the color scheme, font, etc, and naming it with something game related for appeal, for example: "the thief" (green), "the mage" (blue), "dark brotherhood" (black), etc

Taking a look at the opposing wiki (Wikia Network), and as a special user rights member of the Fallout Wikia, I can safely say that social media can kill the wiki information environment. It's a sure no-go for such sites as this.

The 'somewhat desired' things would just be general improvements; I wouldn't be to keen on mods and downloads (Nexus is fine, I don't even use Steam Workshop) although I suppose reviews might be interesting,
the "more or improved content" just means that you guys should update it every time something changes (and you are doing that, so no complaints here.)
The amount and quality of content is already excellent, but I always welcome more!
The answers in Q9 and Q10 are intended to show what areas should recieve the most effort, not that they are bad in any way or that UESP would be worse with improved forums.
The color scheme is easy on the eyes and kinda goes with the whole scrolls theme, but seems plain somehow.

The coventions would be a cool idea but it would depend on where they were held (obviously) but still it would be awesome to go to one.
The design is good, don't get me wrong, but it looks quite old. Maybe a design that looks a bit more modern? I don't think it's a problem though, it's just a friendly suggestion. There could be a bit more advertisement for all the other UESP-related sites. I didn't even know there's a chatroom ar blog. Social media can be used to greatly improve popularity of the UESP I think.
The design of the wiki is perfect and is appropriate for the site. No need to change it for the sake of changing it.

The Fan Meetups is an interesting idea. I wouldn't be able to go, but I would love to see, or at least hear, of the fun you had with your viewers.

The fanmeet ups should be done everywhere on the globe if possible, because I live in The Netherlands and i'd love to meet some fans from here.
The few areas where content could be expanded: make seperate pages for all unique items, not just one big list; some lore articles are somewhat lacking.
The improved content is just for whenever the overhauls take place. I love the care. The design rocks and the page loads are flawless. I'm not a social media kind of guy but I don't want other fans to suffer because of my opinions.
The last thing this site needs is "integration with social media". Don't do it.
The layout is perfectly functional as it is, I hope you guys continue to keep this wiki up to date, and I think mods, downloads, and reviews would be out of place (except for official mods/expansions, since those are "canon").
The lesser played games are often very lacking in complete content. The Daggerfall, Morrowind, Oblivion, and Skyrim sections are wonderful, the Lore section is also very useful.
The mobile app piqued my interest; I think that would be a great idea!

The only comment I have is on the map the wiki has for Skyrim - It would be great if the map could have colour like the Oblivion map. A map in colour is much nicer to browse than a map in black and white. :)
The only exception to the "No Mods" thing I could think of is a bug fixed by The Unofficial Patches, besides that, I am against it.

The page loads are pretty instant, the site design is perfect, there's plenty of content, and I would hate to see forums/chatrooms/etc all over the wiki. I find it perfect as is, personally.

There are a few pages I visit regularly as I progress through the game. A mobile app that allowed for "favorites" would be awesome! I'd love a homepage I can personalize with both updates from the site (like news, etc) and favorite links.
There is little to improve on this site, only small features.
There is no need for an additional download site for mods. Tracking by Facebook and Google+ is a bad idea.
There never seems to be anything I'd like to know that the wiki can't help me with - I never use the chatrooms and rarely use the forums because I don't really need to :)
There's already Skyrim Nexus and TES Alliance so I don't see a reason why UESP should involve mods. I'd like a few more pics in general on the site, recently I noticed the new pics of all weapons and such so already got that down but I still feel some lore-sections could use pics, even fan-made.
There's no need to start diversifying what UESP does. I'd much rather it remain as a reference site. Let the Nexus sites handle the mods for the series, they seem to have a handle on it.

This site already has great content about the Elder Scrolls games and a new site design isn't needed since this design is wonderful. I do believe that more content about Mods from both Bethesda and Tesnexus site would be neat. I also believe a better way of bringing notice to the forums, blogs, and chat would be helpful to people new to the site. As for the other options I'm indifferent on, I'll let the administrators decide on what to do there.

Too many sites and sources of media are integrated into apps or groups on social networking sites, it isn't really required.
Tools like alchemy and enchantment calculators, and name generators, would be very helpful and extend the wiki's strengths.
Tred lightly with the forums. It is a totally different culture than the wiki, but we can definitely take advantage of each other.
UESP as it is works absolutely fine on my phone (Android, running Gingerbread), so I don't know why an app would be needed
UESP does not need to lose focus of its roots as an amazing resource for game related information. Site administrators need to focus more on upholding the high content standards that have made UESP so influential and redesigning the site to be more flexible with mobile platforms. Stay away from things that other sites already offer, better, like mods or reviews. Adding social media integration would also detract from the objective (almost academic in terms of Elder Scrolls knowledge) environment nurtured by UESP so far.
UESP for Android would be amazingly convenient. Hosting mods other than the unofficial patches seems like it would burden the site, but mod reviews would be cool.
UESP has the most content when it comes to TES, period. I marked "more/improved content" as greatly desired because I want UESP to maintain that content lead over other sites.

UESP needs a visual gallery of weapons: style is important! The "Elder Scrolls Wiki" is superior to UESP on this front.

UESP should fund its own mods. Ones that people really want, like a Dwemer invasion or annexation. Personally, I'd rather play a Skyrim mod that brings back the Dwemer and Snow Elves than to even invest in Elder Scrolls Online monthly. Or maybe you could have someone who is good at graphic design make images for all the characters in the lore that don't have images, so people can put a face to a name. Thank you.
UESP specialises in game, world and lore information very, very well. I would be loathe to add more features if this distracted the focus of the site away from what is a great example of 'the right tool for the job'

When it comes to mods, I'd say it would best to simply point to the directions of mod sites like the Nexus sites, and perhaps mention general mod installation info and if there are some grand, huge mods, like "Tamriel Rebuilt" it could be made into an article, which it has been already. But you get my point
While a section on mods would be nice, I personally think it would detract from the information provided. However, I see how it could work out well.
While diversification and opening is great I think a focus on the quality of the article is the core strength of the UESP. Fan Meetups would surely be great. Also I think the current site design is nice in its simplicity though some pages bug sometimes and don't display correctly.

With new design updates most of problems will solve itself.
With site designs, this could be either undesired or greatly desired, so I put indifferent. Most redesigns on web sites are really bad (like YouTube), but some of them are really nice. If redesigning, maybe it would be a good idea to have the old version available as an option for people who don't like it?

You guys are genrally very accurate and comprehensive, but there are pages and areas with inaccuraces or not enough information. There's always room for improvement, and I'd rather see effort go into improving conent than silly inconsequential stuff like Facebook integration.
