   3. How do you find the UESP's design and usability?

Some comments may have been removed or edited from containing personal information or questionable content.

  • ... if you know what you are looking for.
  • 'Search' function could be a little better placed, but easy to use and simple interface.
  • (For above reason.)
  • 1st time user and everything is simple, direct, and easy to use. very well done.
  • A bit "oldschool" design, but easy to use. Very much like other wiki's (and that's a good thing!)
  • A bit confusing at times, otherwise very good.
  • A bit outdated, but easy to navigate and find the correct articles.
  • A bit plain but simple and effective
  • A drop-down menu feature for the side bar links, more specifically the Sections links, (could) improve navigation and casual browsing. Just an opinion for improvement of an already well designed site.
  • A few bugs here and there. (forums)When trying to submit a quick reply while not logged in, the page basically just refreshes. No prompt to log in, no saving of the reply.
  • A few more pictures/screenshots wouldn't hurt, though...
  • A few pages can be difficult to find, but never any real problems.
  • A less dull, clunky and more streamlined overhaul of the site would be nice. Suggestions: Keep the use of Tables for easy reference, but maybe make the borders less obvious. Maybe spice them up with some scroll-work type borders that are slightly transparent. In general a more atmospheric and graphic feel to the site, instead of just the two-tone, black border tables. (Only if possible, of course, and not at the expence of speed or ease of use).
  • a little confusing at first but very easy once you become more familiar with the different categories, like anything else
  • A little flat and uninteresting, but decent in presenting general information.
  • A little larger type
  • A lot better than other official wikia sites by far
  • A lot better than the competitor. I prefer this.
  • A lot of effort and time has been invested in the site, something which is definitely reflected by its design and article quality.
  • A mobile version would be awesome!
  • A perfect adaption between Wikipedia and a Elder Scrolls game!
  • A search for content within a specific game would be nice
  • a suggestion for searches as you type them would be nice.
  • A well built TES wiki.
  • Absolutely wonderful, especially when compared to the other Elder Scrolls wikis.
  • accesibility is amazing and everything is easy to find
  • Advertisements are controlled very well, and they don't use crazy showy graphics, so everything looks and feels nice and smooth.
  • After doing a specific search, e.g. 'Skyrim weapons', the top of search results are usually unrelated, which means that a person needs to look through a mass of results in order to find what they are looking for.
  • again best wiki ive come across
  • Again, Always find what I need.
  • Again, everything is usually easy to find.
  • Again, great for the most part, but certain information could be included on certain pages, or in a different manner.
  • Again, some difficulty lookjng things up. I triedfinding the different character followers page earlier today, took a few minutes to find.
  • All articles are easy to find
  • All links go some where useful and organization is organic and flows naturally.
  • Almost always well displayed and easy to navigate.
  • Although I imagine it would speed up the load times, having such a basic theme and logo gets a little dull. However, the usability is great.
  • Although usually easy to use, once and a while I have to search for something I need.
  • Although, there was some transitional period a few months ago on the site where have the pages I would look at would be archived pages and there was a much less clear format.
  • Always able to find what I want with minimal searching.
  • Always easy to navigate and has great depth of articles.
  • always find what i look for.
  • Amazing usability.
  • Amazing. Don't change a thing
  • Amazingly well. It has stood the test of time without a single complaint from me. That takes some doing lol
  • An extremely well organised site in my opinion.
  • Anyone who has ever used a wiki page can navigate UESP with ease
  • Anything I need to find is only a few clicks away.
  • Anything I would change would be minor. It works fine.
  • Aristeo's background is amazing, def keep it
  • As a visually impaired person, I find the UESP very easy to navigate which is rare for such sites.
  • As good as any Wiki. I like the organization behind UESP most of all.
  • As I mentioned above the design and usability is very user friendly.
  • As i said above i realy like the simple design and perfer it over the other Elder Scrolls wikia page.
  • as i stated above it is just great wikis couldn't even handle as well as this but the design overall i think should take a new form maybe a new dungeon and Renascence theme instead of this mm sortve parchment style (just an opinion but doesnt really make a difference)
  • As previously mentioned, it is extremely formal in composition, yet still hints its own unique style. The community is very helpful, and all aspects of the site are error-free and user friendly.
  • Average because mobile browser support is subpar. Desktop/laptop browsing is great, though.
  • basic design
  • basic, get in and get out. what i like when looking for information. but still through to learn what i need
  • Been on this site for years and still check in regularly.
  • Been using this since I started playing Morrowind a long, long while ago. The site has always been excellently navigable and I have been able to find what I need when I need it.
  • Best Elder Scrolls resource on the internet
  • Best laid out design, most data of Skyrim sites
  • Best wiki for TES
  • better than any other elder scrolls wiki
  • Better than most of my other frequented wiki's
  • Better than most wikis. If not all.
  • Better than the other Elder Scrolls wiki.
  • better than the typical 'wiki' pages that other topics have.
  • But the Search Engine has to be improved
  • By far the easiest to use, most user-friendly, and in-depth wiki I have ever had the pleasure of using.
  • Can always find what I'm looking for without stress.
  • Can confuse at times.
  • can't always find sections I'm looking for like the CSlist and have to google them
  • Can't ask for much more.
  • Categorization could be better. Especially on the lore pages. Alphabetical sorting can get cumbersome. Sorting by topics, relevance, etc. can be very helpful.
  • certain pages should follow templates. (ex: the Oblivion and Skyrim System Requirements pages are wildly different)
  • Choose of color is not really my taste, like that isn't black like the other wiki but white is prefered
  • Classy kind of design, something I miss in Skyrim's interface. I'm not one much for complaining about usability, but for example if you type in Weapons you get this massive list of every single enchanted weapon in the game in groups of 200 or something (just name text, no quick facts, images, etc.). That's about the only thing that bothers me about this site. Perhaps merge the discussion things with the actual topics, because personal experience is still knowledge.
  • Clean and Efficient
  • Clean, easy to find what you need
  • Clear and concise. My only problem is with the search function, searching for "skyrim thieves guild" seems to bring up everything BUT Skyrim:Thieves Guild for some reason
  • Clear, easy to understand, simply great
  • Clear, easy to use, does not look like a psychedelic modern art
  • Color is easy on the eyes, graphs are well organized, and spending hours looking at it doesn't hurt my eyes, unlike the black background of that *other* TES wiki.
  • Concidering what you have to work with, it's pretty good.
  • Content is organized in an easy to use manner. I can find everything needed in a few clicks.
  • Contents bar to the left of the site is very handy and I like how the adds are kept to the sides and away from the text.
  • could always use improvement, but good quality nonetheless
  • Could be better, but I have no idea at this moment.
  • Could be formatted to a mobile design as well
  • Could be improved a bit more by having most popular links
  • Could do with being updated
  • Could do with some more images
  • Could have more dedicated pages, instead of cramming everything onto a single page
  • could make it easier to restrict searches to a particular game
  • could use a bid of design re-do, but accessibility is great
  • Could use a little freshness to the site, color scheme, etc.
  • Could use a little more "pop" in the layout.
  • Could use a visual overaul (e.g. current colors, search field in the upper right corner)
  • could use auto-fill on searches
  • Could use better graphics and background
  • could use more hyperlinks interconnecting articles, some hyper links to wrong or ambiguous articles
  • Could use some clarifications/streamlining for older games like Daggerfall
  • Could use some more separation for TES construction basics.
  • Countless links all over the place make for easy navigation.
  • Dated, but in a good way. Web 2.0 isn't something I'm terribly fond of.
  • Decent
  • Definitely above average. As a beginner, it's a little more difficult to get to a specific game-related page. Once I figured that out it was pretty easy.
  • Design I'm not too bothered about, usability is very helpful and easy to follow
  • design is a bit lacking, but again it's a wiki - not meant for fancy layouts, it's meant to host TONS of information... and this site does that!
  • Design is clean, which makes it very easy to find everything
  • Design is good.
  • Design is one of the reason why I prefer it over the tes wikia
  • Design is simple and lil bit old yes, but its really easy to find the desired information, so its good
  • Design isn't the prettiest, but the site fulfills its purpose well and I prefer it over any other.
  • Design looks somewhat old-hat, especially considering the new possibilities MediaWiki offers. However, I like your quest and game pages' layout as it's very intuitive.
  • Design: I love the design. It's nice and simple, easy on the eyes, and the light browny-gold background colour has that 'Elder Scroll' feel to it. Usability: It's really great to use. It's easy, the layout is great, very user friendly, no complaints at all!
  • Desperate need of mobile/small screen functionality
  • Dialogue listed on NPC pages is difficult to make out.
  • Difficult maps
  • difficulty with several different articles on things that occur in several games and lore
  • Division within a single article is not great, and unifromity could be better (Morrowind main page flows differently than Oblivion, etc.)
  • don't change anything
  • Don't change anything.
  • Dont change it! I love it!
  • Drill through is good and simple.
  • Easier than most Wikis.
  • Easily navigable
  • easy access to pages
  • easy acsess to everything
  • Easy and straightforward.
  • Easy to access each game (and expansions) in the left panel. Consistent headings in articles; All game articles has a "Bugs" sections, etc. Colors are nice and not at all straining for your eyes.
  • easy to find all i need at the time
  • Easy to find out about any information I need and discuss anything not present on the wiki.
  • Easy to find things, and seaching for them is useful too. I always find what i need.
  • easy to find what im looking for.
  • Easy to find whatever I want (unless it doesn't exist)
  • Easy to find your way around.
  • Easy to follow/use, it is even (fairly) easy to edit pages.
  • Easy to iuse and full of info on elder scrolls games.
  • easy to navigate
  • Easy to navigate
  • Easy to navigate
  • Easy to navigate and find anything that you could possibly search for.
  • Easy to navigate and provides enough detail without being excessive.
  • Easy to navigate and search function is great
  • Easy to navigate and the colour is easy on the eyes
  • easy to navigate around in a hurry
  • Easy to navigate but needs a more modern look
  • Easy to navigate, especially to new users i have introduced to the site.
  • Easy to navigate, everything that should be linked together is
  • Easy to navigate, information clearly presented, overall brilliance
  • Easy to navigate, never any trouble with finding anything
  • Easy to navigate.
  • Easy to read, though maybe a little plain personally. Otherwise good.
  • Easy to understand
  • Easy to understand and navigate through.
  • easy to use
  • Easy to use and find stuff
  • Easy to use and navigate, great guides on ANYTHING you need help with, whether it's the games or editing an article etc.
  • Easy to use and theres a search bar, always helpful if i cant find something
  • Easy to use and very comprehensive
  • Easy to use and well organized.
  • easy to use interface and links.
  • Easy to use UI but should put the bar on the left on the top of the page.
  • Easy to use, but the background seems a bit lacking sometimes.
  • Easy to use, even on mobile, please don't add a mobile version, mobile wikis are not very good.
  • easy to use, no problems
  • Easy to use, no problems here. It's just like any other Wiki, but at the same time, it isn't. The yellow-brown colour gives it a cozy feel
  • Easy to use.
  • Effective.
  • Elder Scrolls Wikia has a more attractive interface, in my view.
  • Especially when it comes to all the links in the middle of (and next to) a books page.
  • Even the lists are easy to navigate. Great!
  • Every thing is easy to find and well organized.
  • everything is easily accessible.
  • Everything is easy to find and visually pleasing layout.
  • Everything is easy to find or search for.
  • Everything is great save for the search engine, It is sometimes hard to find specific information
  • Everything is great! No cumbersome ads, no slow load times, no anything bad in terms of usability! Very nice! Love it!
  • everything is organized.
  • Everything is visible and any function is not hidden
  • Everything is well designed. The flow works very well.
  • Everything is well laid-out and the theme matches the overall aesthetic of the Elder Scrolls games.
  • Everything is where it should be and its kept simple
  • Everything on the site is laid out in a very user friendly and helpful way to help users gather the information they need as quickly and hassle free as possible
  • Everything on the site is very user-friendly, and it is very informative.
  • Everything works as well as Id expect
  • everything works incredibly well i hve found
  • Everything's fine as is, but it could use some cleaning up.
  • excelent. incredibly user friendly
  • Excellent - layout, links to relted articles, everything is well designed.
  • Excellent design but sometimes you can get lost searching for an specific item, some direct links might be useful.
  • Excellent user friendly layout. Everything put in good headings so you know where to find what you may be looking for.
  • Excellent. Try to make map more user friendly.
  • Exceptionally easy to navigate and good for storing in depth articles.
  • Extremely seamless browsing, top-notch usability
  • Familiar wiki design and unobtrusive formatting make the site easy and enjoyable to use.
  • far better than other wikia pages
  • Far more efficient than other wiki's, from my experience, Wikipedia is the only other site that compares.
  • Fast, simple, fits well in overall theme, not some stupid flash-things that lag sometimes
  • Fine on a computer but terrible user interface on mobile phone, and I use my phone to browse your site more than my computer
  • fits the games, but mobil version shpuld be looked at
  • Flawless, no issues.
  • Floating ads need to float at the bottom, not in the middle. Bounding boxes work great at 1080x720+ but are rubbish on mobile. Maybe there's an app I missed?
  • For smaller, more localized things it can be sometimes frustrating to locate.
  • For the most part, it's okay, with the possible exception of Hints-type or Useful Spell/Enchantment pages, which are often... too subjective/personal and require much cleanup.
  • For the record, I am not trying to suck up. I have been using this wiki for a long time and it is the best-desighned and easiest to use wiki I've ever seen.
  • forum could be clean up a bit.
  • General sort of wikia format. Good amount of pictures.
  • Gives a perfect atmosphere from the elder scrolls games.
  • good also on mobile phones
  • Good but further improvments should be done.
  • Good cross-referencing
  • Good for the most part, but when typing in certain terms to the search bar, some items are harder to find than others, even with key terms typed. Making the search more broad would be great!
  • Good Interface and Menu layouts
  • Good layout immersive theme on the pages quick links bar to all relevant expansions and games of the series are good
  • good layout, easy to maneuver and find what i want, i come here all the time for information because of how easy it is to navigate
  • good layout, easy to use
  • Good usability but the overall look is a bit bland.
  • Good very easy to find stuff
  • Good- but sometimes it seems the text messes up the space, especially in disorganized entries
  • Good, although sometimes I get a bit lost when I can't find a page because I'm accidentally in the wrong section after following links (Like being lead from Morrowind to Lore and then not finding Morrowind pages)
  • Good, no other comment :P
  • Great
  • great and easy navigation and a good layout on the main screen by dividing the games also into dlc
  • great for PC usage, poor for mobile experience (especially Opera Mini on Android)
  • Great layout and love how its organised!
  • Great on desktop. Mobile site is hard to read within articles
  • Great, and the search bar is very useful! Maybe more "links" to related threads in other TES games (ex: Steel armour thread in oblivion has link to steel armor thread in Morrowind)
  • Great, but can be better, but that wouldn't be able to happen without deviating from what essentially makes a wiki on the internet (Different layouts, specialist tier menus etc)
  • Great, except that the search function doesn't seem to prioritize articles whose titles match (or nearly-match) the search query.
  • Great, it's not to flashy.
  • Great. A few pages need some work.
  • hard to find ids for certain npcs and other things on search
  • Hard to find some items but good overall
  • hate the search function
  • Have had some issues with pages being a little confusing, but the vast majority of the time the links correspond correctly and are placed where they should be
  • Haven't tried the mobile version. the main site's good enough I don't have to.
  • Having each game listed on the left hand side is perfect.
  • Having to specify "Skyrim:" or "Oblivion:" When searching in order to go directly to a page is annoying.
  • Hierarchical design (Skyrim:Items / Oblivion:Items) is great!
  • I *love* UESP' design. Everything is incredibly easy to find, nicely organized categories are everywhere, and the aesthetics of the website itself are nice. My only concern is that the search function can be a little finicky, in that it requires exact phrasing of an article to find it. That may be an issue with the wiki format rather than the website, though, so I'll reserve judgment in that regard.
  • I absolutely love the interface, it's very user- friendly and it's almost impossible to get confused with it.
  • I actively rely on UESP exclusively for everything I have ever needed in the Elder Scrolls series and have never needed to look anywhere else!
  • I adore the design of this site, though it is a pity that the wiki uses a separate account to the forums.
  • I adore the simplicity and power of the design but I'm a relatively experienced Wikipedia editor so am familiar with Mediawiki. I suspect many newbies feel intimidated by it, especially in the unique way you use namespaces.
  • I allways find what I want to.
  • I am not sure if the design could be improved, but so far I think that it is fine as it is.
  • i am now mastering the elder scrolls thanks
  • I am quite old-fashioned in my browsing, and like the simple, easy-to-navigate design
  • I applaud the site's design; clean and stylish. Also, no run-of-the-mill mobile versions, so I automatically get the same experience in both my iPhone and computer — I like that.
  • I can always find exactly what I'm looking for
  • I can always find what I'm looking for.
  • I can always get wherever I need to go. Nice and convenient.
  • I can find everything easily.
  • I can't think of any way to improve it - it's easy to understand and reliable.
  • I could say, though, maps of the game could be easier to find.
  • I don't care for the color.
  • I don't find any problems with the format. It's effective and easy to read.
  • I don't have any real problems, although I bet it could be better.
  • I don't like the "official" page's layout, it's lame. This is more into the mood of the Elder Scrolls
  • I don't really have that much experience to comment on the design and practicality of certain elements, but I'll say at least that I have no real complaint about it at all.
  • I don't really like the design of the Main Page, but the rest is ok.
  • i dont like that rely small menu on the side
  • I enjoy the layout but the search bar could be bigger...
  • I especially appreciate how easily the pages connect to each other, it's easy to read up on the lore of a god, then immediately click on all of that god's siblings related stories
  • I especialy enjoy the small item images in the items section of the Skyrim page.
  • I espically like the layout of the pages and how they link you to: the next quest, lore on locations, item descriptions and general informative things.
  • I feel as though improvements could be made to how the site navigates when you are looking up information for more than one game at a time.
  • I feel like it always has exactly what I'm looking for Fuck Yeah
  • I feel like there are too many links that lead to the correct section, but incorrect subsection. For example, take Dawnguard's page - if you click on a creature, many of them often lead to a table at the top, like a loot table, instead of the correct monster section - still the right page at least.
  • I feel that the design is good, but could be a little better, and could be a little bit more straightforward.
  • i fell that the site operates very smoothly and is easy to navigate.
  • I find it great, especially all the links to everywhere, even if it is basic.
  • I find it to be easy to use, the search engine is really good at picking pieces and vague searches
  • I find it very user friendly, simple, and easy to use.
  • I find that if I don't spell correctly the search nets 0 results
  • I find that this site is very easy to navigate. I have been able to find information very easily. The set up of the page provides for quick and easy use.
  • I find too many pages have too little information
  • I find UESP easier to navigate than Fallout Wiki, for example.
  • i find UESP easy to navigate & the design is good
  • I hate the format that wikis are currently moving to. Compare uesp.net to elderscrolls.wikia.com, and uesp seems MUCH cleaner.
  • I have never had any issue at all with finding the article for which I was looking.
  • I have only used the mobile version
  • I havent realy dug deep in the site but it would be cool if there was a feature every day wether its inf pics history or all. I would also like to say, I have the most awsomest modded morrowind game ever in the worl thanks to you! now i just need a better pc to play it, lol! truely thanks.
  • I know it is a work in progress and that there is a lot of user input, but there are a lot of unfinished pages that go to no where and the search function has trouble finding articles sometimes.
  • I know UESP contains alot of spoilers but it would be nice if occassionally there would be something like "SPOILER ALERT" before I end up ruining end-game.
  • I like how the layout is generally simple and uncluttered =)
  • I like it a lot, very convenient.
  • I like it but some sections lack Images that elder scrolls wiki has. But overall UESP is much more accurate though ESW updates faster (Sadly).
  • I like it now that I am familiar with the content, but as a first-time visitor I found it to be unpolished as compared to other sites in general.
  • I like it, I like the layout and the ease of use
  • I like that all the games and their respective expansion are under their own search parameters (like "Skyrim:" or "Bloodmoon:") making it easy to find relevant information quickly. The links work well and the uniformity of the pages makes it easy to understand.
  • I like that it's design is close to wikipedia's but not exactly the same as every Wikia page
  • I like the "Old parchment" style which remember me Oblivion and morrowind but it is still something too square and simple, some improvements to the font or the pages management system would be great.
  • I like the "old scroll" theme.
  • i like the background colour
  • I like the colour scheme, and I find the site easily navigated. Some things I have to look a little extra for, but mostly it's all there.
  • i like the fact that the wiki remaids you off the books texter from oblivion
  • I like the format, but the color seems a bit drab.
  • I like the layout but I would love to see a mobile version for ipods or something
  • I like the layout, especially the bar on the left side.
  • I like the link system on the sidebar.
  • I like the look and design of the site, and it's easier to use then alot of other wiki's I use
  • I like the menu on the left where you choose between games
  • I like the new layouts, but not every page is in the same style, can be confusing
  • I like the old layout of Wikis and UESP holds true to it
  • I like the simplicity of the layout
  • I like the way everything is set up and easy to accesss
  • I like to use my tablet and smartphone to check while I am playing, but UESP is not very usable for mobile devices.
  • I like wiki environments.
  • I love how everything is so easy to find!
  • I love how it hasn't been drastically changed and kept the same for the most part.
  • I love how the wiki is currently set-up. Not many sites about other games have a dedicated area for lore related things.
  • I love it and it is one of the main reasons I come here. This is the ideal site.
  • i love the color
  • I love the cream background! It's very easy to read the pages and background designs don't interfere with load times.
  • I love the design of the site, brings a lot of nostalgia, seeing as it is similar to the design of the menu screens of the older games.
  • I love the design very much, easy to view and to find something.
  • I love the design, I dont like fancy smanchy stuff with animated menues... And this is perfect, its just clean.
  • I love the design, it's minimal but pretty and loads very fast and it's focused on content.
  • I love the design, it's similar to wikipedia making it feel nature to use and also has a "TES" theme to it
  • I love the design. It really suites the games and looks so much better than the majority of the gaming wikis.
  • I love the layout
  • I love the layout of everything and how you have photos of things next to cruicial parts of a quest for a reference to solve it.
  • I love the little search bar thing that make everything so much more easier!!!!!
  • I love the sepia tone it feels right when talking about TES
  • I love the simple and clean look of UESP and navigation is very easy.
  • I love the simplicity
  • I love the simplicity behind it.
  • I love the site's design. I couldn't imagine it done in a better fashion.
  • I love the style and layout! It is so functional.
  • i love the way you designed the website and i think the designer should get a pay raise.
  • I love the Wiki-interface, and find it very easy to navigate.
  • I love this old wiki design more than the new ones.
  • I love this sand-like theme.
  • I mainly just use the search bar to find the information I want. Afterwards, I can browse and easily find what I'm looking for. The search bar is a simple, yet effective tool.
  • I never have a problem figuring out where to look for information.
  • I never have any difficulty finding what I am looking for
  • I never have any trouble using the site.
  • I often have trouble with finding facts about one thing that reside in another article. For instance, I wanted to know what year Neravar was killed at Red Mountain, so I searched Neravar, found the Lore:Neravar page, but there is no information. I would have to find it on the timeline page or Event Battle For Read Mountain page.
  • I only wish there was a more usable mobile component... the sidebars interefere with mobile readibility.
  • I particularly like the light coloured background and good font size and I mostly refer to it while using my netbook.
  • I personally have no problems with it, but maybe working with 'quick-tabs' to certain subjects that are most often sought for and that sort.
  • I personally love the feel of parchment and fantasy to the theme, while still being easy-to-understand Wikia at the same time.
  • I prefer the "Wikipedia" style wiki design before the "mediawiki" style design, employed in other places. The tables around the pages provide an excellent way of quickly obtaining specific information.
  • I prefer this layout and Background over the official site due to its clear text unlike the black background of the official wiki
  • I quite like the usability. everything is easy to find.
  • I really do prefer the UESPs layout to other wikis like the Vault wiki.
  • I really enjoy UESP's usability, and it's commitment to providing links. But, I do think UESP could perhaps slightly update it's design.
  • I really like how it's sorted by game.
  • I really like it. It somehow fits with the series, somekind of parchment color. Other than that it's very unique and distinctive.
  • I really like that the colour is not white, it's easy on the eye.
  • I really like the display it makes it easy to use.
  • I really like the fact that once I click into a game section, I can do a search for a topic specific to that game. I find it's easy to find topics, so long as I'm specific in my word search.
  • I really like the graphics used and general wiki structure, but the search engine is a bit stupid sometimes, as I have to come up with very spesific search conditions to find anything I need.
  • I really like the layout and colour scheme. The colour of the background and the text makes it really easy to read.
  • I really like the layout of the site. It is very easy to navigate through and find exactly what I am looking for.
  • I really like the old school feeling about it :)
  • I really like the style.
  • I really prefer this page to the other wiki
  • I really wouldn't change anything about the site's interface. It does exactly what it needs to do, and I rarely if ever have any difficulty finding what I'm looking for.
  • I sometimes find it difficult to determine the main skills of NPC's in Skyrim. A clearer layout may be nice.
  • I sometimes have serious problems with the way the site handles page names, especially if something appears in more than one game. I think every page for an item / person / quest who appears in multiple games should have links to the other versions (one notable example is the page "Lore: Yagrum Bagarn" which has no link to his Morrowind page.
  • I think an autocomplete search box could be a great help, similar to what Wikipedia has.
  • I think it is easy enough to find where you want to go on this site, but I think there may be room for improvement.
  • I think it is flawless. What makes it even better is it is in the Wikipedian style (if you wish to put it that way) which makes the whole site even simpler to use.
  • I think it might be useful to have archives of removed page content. Sometimes the language has changed and it can be difficult to find something vaguely recalled.
  • I think it's a bit out-of-date. The site could really use a redesign.
  • i think it's a great search system for example.
  • I think that if there was a way to filter search results by game it would make the site a lot easier to browse. I've found difficulty when I try to search for the dark brotherhood in skyrim for example because I need to sort through all of the games' dark brotherhood articles
  • i think that the way you have set it out with firstly, all of the games, then going into more detail; their lore, NPCs quests etc...
  • I think the "other elder scrolls wiki" gets their topic-wide organization a bit better sometimes, but UESP wiki has been improving
  • I think the UI of the site is set up to fit the theme of Elder Scrolls games while still providing a very user friendly interface
  • I think there needs to be redirects, so if you type in 'Fort Virtue,' you'll be taken to 'Oblivion:Fort Virtue' rather than a search page
  • I think you should make a Ipad application, I use this site often on my Ipad.
  • I understand exactly what something is what it means.
  • I use iPad, so links sometimes to close together for my fat fingers!
  • I use UESP on my iPhone but there is no app (last time I checked) and also no mobile version of the website.
  • I used the Official Skyrim Strategy Guide before switching to satelite internet. Even though the Strategy Guide was very helpful, this site is much for neatly organized and much easier to understand and use.
  • I wish perfect was an option
  • I wish the background was a nicer color. Something a bit darker. Or at least have a way to make it that way if I want.
  • I wish there was a mobile version
  • I wish those player's guides that are thick as an encyclopaedia were as organized in their layout and cross referencing.
  • I would like a revised search, with more options.
  • I would like if there would be some sort of update to the design of the website. Its been the same for the last few years or so and it would be nice to see a new background, possibly something pertaining to Skyrim or even a little something from every game (if there is something that every game shares).
  • I would like in-game items to have their own pages so we can identify and tell of bugs, as well as more details, not on a long list telling of simple things about them, so more akin to the other Elder Scrolls wiki.
  • I would like to see more focus on the main sections, i.e. easier to access info on main games such as Morrowind, Skyrim etc
  • I would love to see disambiguations of the theme on the top of articles.
  • I would prefer that the search function searches speficially for the game you are currently looking at unless you specify otherwise.
  • I would suggest a list of "quick facts" about the game. Ie. How completing the main quest affects the game, ie. is it still the same afterwards or must you rather leave it for last. Does sleeping or waiting negatively affect the game or is there no deadline to finish the game. When you are a vampire how do you feed ect.
  • I'm hoping the quest redesign project is almost finished however
  • I'm not overly fond of the colour scheme
  • I'm often accessing UESP via my Win 7 mobile. Although my mobile's not as web friendly as others UESP is consistently very accessible.
  • I'm so glad you guys stuck with the original design of wikis, not the crammed, newer design.
  • I'm used to it, and i believe it's efficient. I don't see need to improve the layout and design.
  • I've always been a fan of the 'wikia' style.
  • I've always loved the look and it's super easy to find anything you're looking for.
  • I've always preferred the old wiki style and layout and am glad that UESP hasn't used the new wiki style
  • I've had very few things I couldn't find
  • I've never had any problems or complaints with the design or usability. Works like a charm.
  • I've noticed a few transitions taking place to what I hope is a much more intuitive layout for the pages.
  • If anything, it is perhaps too texty. But then it is a wiki
  • If I can not find something on the quick links, i simply use the search tool and find it quickly myself.
  • If I don't type in a name exactly it won't find anything. Some leeway for misspells in search would be noce
  • If I know to look for it I can find it, but there are cool features that I don't know to look for. It would be nice to have a way to highlight some of the more esoteric content.
  • If its not broken, why fix it. Am I right?
  • If only there was an Andriod App for the UESP wiki, then it would be perfect.
  • If someone comes upon this site and cannot use, they shouldnt be on a computer. It is a well developed site and is very user friendly
  • Improvements could be made in the home-page index that would all you to drill-down to the radial quest of interest. Currently I have to use 'Startpage.com' with the search term of 'skyrim _____' to find the uesp page I want.
  • In regards to the design, I find it to be clever. It's simple, but it isn't dull or aesthetically unpleasing.
  • In the main, it's the cross-page consistency that is the most helpful to users
  • Include a screenshot of the location on the map. It's the only reason I sometimes go to the fake wiki for a quick glimpse of where a location is.
  • incredibly easy to navigate with or without search
  • Incredibly easy to use and navigate.
  • Individual pages for unique items would be preffered
  • Information is easy to find and well organized. It is updated promptly.
  • It allows easy access to things that you need to find quickly.
  • it could be improved with individual pages for certain items
  • it could be more modern than it is now. but things are still easy to find.
  • It could be prettier. Very functional though. Search could be improved.
  • it could do with a bit more decoration
  • It could have a little more color, abd maybe some art
  • It could probably do with some more modernisation, along similar lines to wikia sites (though I much prefer the information on UESP to the elder scrolls wikis)
  • It could use some Elder Scrolls themed artworks
  • It destroys the skyrim wikia. This site is the bee's knees.
  • It does take a bit of work to find some things, but things get pretty easy once you've used the site a bit!
  • it doesn't always load nicely on mobile devices, but still gets the job done
  • It doesn't feel cluttered, the information is easy to find and even easier to jump between related articles, i.e. quests and NPCs.
  • It doesn't need any upgrades.
  • it great it doesnt distract me while im reading the text
  • It has a comfortable and easy-to-use design.
  • It has a good background color.
  • It has a nostalgic feel, while also being easy to navigate.
  • It has a very attractive and unique design, however it is sometimes difficult to switch between lore articles for an item or character and game specific articles for an item or character.
  • It has a very warm feel. I like that the advertising doesn't hinder usability or the site's speed. I struggle sometimes with the text size. I'd appreciate an "increase font size" option. A mobile-formatted version would also be dandy.
  • It has all of the good, and the few bad, aspects of its template
  • It is easy access to what I am looking for.
  • It is easy to find the information I'm looking for. Site is very comprehensive
  • It is easy to find what you're looking for. Has 90's like appearnce, reminds me of reddit
  • It is easy, simple and doesn't shove anything into your face. Like SKYRIM!! OR OBLIVION! or IGN!! etc. It's like a mature experienced grandfather, effectively and calmly explaining whatever you want to know about.
  • It is extremely easy to use.
  • It is great, but I think the search function needs some tweaking. A few times I've had a hard time finding what I am looking for.
  • It is great!!
  • It is just like the Wiki we all know and love.
  • It is not always easy to find what you want unless you perform a search; using the categories is sometimes a bit confusing (ie. it's sometimes unclear under which section you can find a particular topic)
  • It is pretty easy to navigate on this site.
  • It is the easiest to read of all the sites i've visited.
  • It is very easy to move from interesting topic to topic.
  • It is very usable and designed well, however it could be improved by changing the colour scheme or having the option to switch between a few as sometimes the current one can be a little sore on the eyes.
  • It is very user friendly and straightforward.
  • It isn't the most beautiful layout.
  • It isn't the most fantastic looking site, and that weird pink colour is strangely discomforting, but it's design is flawless in terms of usability.
  • It looks good and is very easy to navigate.
  • It looks great, nothing too fancy getting in the way of encyclopedia usability.
  • It looks nice and is easy to use, but a new look and further explanation of certain things would be appreciated.
  • It looks super awesome great!
  • It may just be bias due to being a long-time user of the site, but I find it to be quite easy to navigate.
  • It needs a background, like something that says to people when they see this site 'Skyrim!'
  • it seems that certain pages are harder to get to, don't flow organically, for instance, if I'm looking at Heavy Armor under skills, there should be a way to go directly to the page showing all the heavy armor (not just the ones that can be made by the player). Also, the list of potions and their recipes could probably be consolidated with the page about which potions are worth the most.
  • It should be more interactive maybe.
  • It stacks up adequately against other wiki-type sites; search functionality could be improved, but I have no suggestions as to how that could be done.
  • It would be good to have a predictive search function, if that's possible.
  • It would be handy if when you put in the exact name of an article you go straight to the page, instead of a search page.
  • It would be nice to have search suggestions like Wikipedia has
  • It'd be nice if there the pages from different games were more clearly seperated
  • It's a clean looking, nice website. All the information is presented in an appealing fashion.
  • It's a lot more user friendly then most game wikis out there
  • It's a WIKI so it's easy to navigate
  • It's a wiki, formatted precisely like all other wiki's, even though several more viable options exist.
  • It's actually one of the easier to navigate game specific websites out there.
  • It's all laid out in the same format. When I'm looking for character information for a follower or info on a dungeon, I can usually guess where on the page to look. Loads better than other sites!
  • It's easy to learn and manage these pages. If I need something, all I do is type it in and the site gives me the best pages to look at. I haven't had any trouble finding what I need.
  • It's easy to navigate
  • It's easy to navigate around the website
  • It's extremely easy to navigate and very user-friendly
  • It's fine as it is. It doesn't need to be flamboyant. I came here for text, and related images. That's it.
  • It's good, but sometimes a little confusing. Disambiguation pages when dealing with a topic that covers multiple games could be helpful.
  • It's good, can't think of any complaints.
  • It's good, kinda immersive, but boring sometimes.
  • It's great but its not very compatible on mobile though!
  • It's great that all of the latest news is on the front page.
  • It's in the classic database format, time-tested, proven. The searches are only vaguely answered if one's question is vague unto itself.
  • It's incredibly accessible, and classic. Changing it would certainly gear towards failure.
  • It's kinda hard to use the search bar to find things in a specific game.
  • It's light and perfect for reading!
  • It's logical and easy to use.
  • It's maybe a bit outdated compared to other websites, but the overall experience is much better than other wikis
  • It's not flashy, but honestly I don't come here for that. It's simple, doesn't hurt my eyes when I look at it for long periods of times like other sites with a darker background.
  • It's not perfect because of the fact that there's always a lot of information that some people may find overwhelming at first, but it's exactly what I want in a wiki.
  • it's not too complicated and not too plain either.
  • It's organized. I can find what i need quickly. or get easily directed to new material.
  • It's really easy to use
  • It's really great and easy to use.
  • It's simple and easy to browse.
  • It's simple and easy to navigate and I haven't noticed an abundant ammount of adverts like many other wikis.
  • It's simple enough. But it can sometimes be hard to find what you want.
  • It's sometimes a little tedious to find what I'm looking for, because apparently some things exist between multiple games. It'd be nice to have a more comprehensive list distinguishing between each game, but I really can't complain much. I'd much rather the site not change much in that regard.
  • It's sometimes get's hard to find exactly what you need.
  • It's surprisingly easy to find things in a database so extensive.
  • It's tan. Like a scroll. This is nice.
  • It's very accessible.
  • It's very clean and plain compared to most wikis- and that's not a bad thing!
  • It's very user friendly, the only gripe I've ever had with it is that when you use the search bar in one of the boards (like Oblivion) it only searches in Oblivion related stuff. Perhaps this was intended, maybe you could put that somewhere?
  • It's very user-friendly, and the community talk pages also help in sharing opinions or explaining a few things that are not explained by the information given by the game. It is also very helpful since it has everything you need to know about a certain subject, and many more to offer.
  • It's way better than the wiki design
  • its above average
  • Its easy to find everything you need.
  • its easy to find what you looking for
  • Its kinda of hard to Know what games its from like "Morrowind:Chitin"
  • its not "beautiful" but i wouldn't want it to be, its very compact and easy to navigate
  • Its not very interactive, lacks some colors
  • Its really easy to find info
  • its the best
  • Its user friendly
  • just a few minor things. I have seen double entries.
  • Just as i said before , it is great after you get used to it which requires a very small amount of time .
  • Keep it simple.
  • Keep it up!
  • Less results regarding lore for normal search
  • Like all wikis there are occasions when I want a browse feature, just to explore and find the stuff that I didn't know was out there.
  • Like all wikis, there is a certain non-uniformity to the writing styles of the pages. Fortunately, it is usually subtle at UESP :)
  • Like I said above, sometimes its hard to find things, but thats for the more obscure things. Other than that, its a really nice change. Ie teswiki
  • like i said before i can find everything i need with no trouble
  • Like I said earlier the pages are easy to understand, navigate, and use.
  • Links are appropriate to information
  • loads great, looks great
  • Looks better than Taylor swift
  • Looks clean, easy to read and navigate. Reminds of other wiki sites.
  • Looks cool, information is segmented into games, and you guys informed me of some great mods.
  • Looks good, and it's very user-friendly
  • Looks great and matches Oblivion well. that said I think a lot of people are turning to the other Wiki because it's black theme matches the skyrim theme, it just feels weird looking at this site next to Skyrim. The biggest issue though is the search function, to see what I mean type "dragon mask" into the search of this site and other Wiki's, then try similar partial searches(which is common when people go to look something up) I like the logo and design of the site, and it's pretty well organized, but changing the theme to be similar to the most recent ES game might be advantageous.
  • Love all the links to get more info!
  • Love how everything is organized! The search function can be pretty hard to use, though. The spelling has to be precise or what you're looking for doesn't come up. Also, there were some times i've wanted to correct minor mistakes in the first "section" of a page, and I could not find the edit button. Overall, though I always get the information I need, and am usually able to correct things I see wrong.
  • Love it
  • Love it.
  • Love MediaWiki
  • Love the ability to share thoughts on certain topics
  • Love the clean and easy to use design.
  • love the design
  • Love the parchment and classic style. 'Feels' like I stumbled upon an ancient library of lore.
  • Love the parchment-colour background. So easy on the eyes
  • Love the site
  • Love this site! Don't know how to use it effectively yet.
  • make a more obvios search bar the first time i came here it took me 5 minutes to find
  • Map is superb.
  • map links are important
  • Maps should be on every location page as the directions are always difficult to follow or use locations i haven't found as landmarks
  • Maybe a little more modern, but I get a nice Morrowind feel from it.
  • Maybe more skins to choose from. However the current set up is nice.
  • Maybe the typing cursor could default to the search box, and auto suggest that automatically links to articles might be also good
  • Maybe try and create a video/slideshow tutorial on how to edit and/or create a page.
  • Maybe yse cookies, so whatever game a person was looking that would be the only results they would get until they specifically looked at a different game
  • More game pics would good
  • More hub-type pages would be nice, though presumably impractical to implement
  • Most everything links well and flows well
  • Most of all I appreciate that this site doesn't have an all black background like elderscrolls.wikia.com, which for some people can really strain the eyes after a while.
  • mostly it's really easy to use and I like the old school look, the calender could be easier to find and maybe a few more things that I can't remember
  • Mostly very good articles, but some pages need cleaning to get comprehensive understanding of game mechanisms.
  • Much better layout then the elder scrolls wiki
  • Much better than the TESwiki
  • Much better than wikia.com
  • Much easier to read and navigate than elderscrollswikia
  • Much preferred to wikia.
  • My goto site for all my Elder Scrolls needs!!!  ;)
  • My only complaint is that searches used to default to whichever space I'd most recently used (Oblivion, Shivering) but no longer do - perhaps it's a cookie issue, I don't know.
  • My opinion: background colors and wiki icon have been in place for quite some time and are reminiscent of old 90's websites. Would a visual update be out of the question?
  • Navigating by search is easiest for me. It seems a little difficult to find what I want through menus.
  • Navigating is a bit difficult
  • Navigation and searching are so easy.
  • Navigation side bar could use some redesign as it it currently cluttered and somewhat difficult to use.
  • Need to implement a better search that can find words that you have misspelled. Many words is ES are difficult to spell and I often must try multiple times to search for specific article.
  • Needs mobile formatting option
  • Needs mobile version..
  • Needs more pictures and needs to provide more info on things and to create some things own pages. ex. cow, divines, foxes
  • Needs more visible catagories on the front page
  • Needs updates. Feels to D&D stat sheet-ish. More info, pictures and descriptions would be helpful.
  • Never change the design, perfection remains as it is.
  • Never have had a problem.
  • Nice and neat
  • Nice and simple
  • Nice flow to the site, but links to related pages are not consistant
  • No ad spam or terrible backgrounds like wikia sites do...
  • No complaints here. Nice job.
  • No faults with the site, there is one feature I would like to see which is when searching to see suggestions on result on a drop-down menu similar to google or wikipedia.
  • No problem.Very easy.
  • no problems
  • No problems so far.
  • No real complaints.
  • No wasteful space
  • not as attractive as some, but so easy to browse and find info
  • Not mobile friendly
  • Not overly creative, but practical, and I like practical
  • Not that great, but not bad either.
  • Not too different from other wikis; but I normally just use google to search for anything I want to find, rather than trying to use wiki navigation
  • Not very appealing to me
  • nothing special, easy to find stuff
  • Nothing wrong with it, similar to other wiki sites so I'm never confused and always know where to find evreything I want.
  • Occasional link issues, but that's just normal.
  • occasionally it is difficult to go from page to page, however most of the time its great.
  • Occasionally links are broken, particularly on pages with lists (i.e. "click for next 200)
  • Occasionally some articles are stubs (even for non-Lore pages), but most pages are well set-up and fully informative.
  • Occasionaly hard to locate what I am looking for
  • Often it can be difficult to locate talk pages.
  • Once I became accustomed to the http standards, I usually can navigate to the page I want by just opening the page directly without even searching for it, though sometimes I'm slightly off.
  • Once you get used to it, it's simple and easy.
  • One little flaw for me : I wish large tables could be edited as such, instead of unreadable & uncolored raw code
  • One moderately issue is the automatic insertion of which game/lore subcategory when using the search function, even if you mean to look for data of another game.
  • One of the best things by far in the site is that you encounter a lot of different links in every article. This is undoubtedly wonderful since as soon as you finish with a page, you can turn to another one, and another one, and so on! So I love the fact that every person, place, or item mentioned has a link to its own article.
  • One of the best wikis when it comes to tablet support.
  • one of the few game wikis where I don't get hopelessly lost
  • One of the most easily navigable wiki sites I've ever seen.
  • One thing I like is it's not cluttered up with a lot of unnecessary graphics or bright colors that distract me from finding the data I want.
  • Only challenge is remembering spelling of various elder scrolls tes
  • Organized wonderfully everything is right where it should be.
  • Orgnization and design are spot on. The search function makes it easy and usable.
  • outstanding!!!!!
  • Overall good but when I type in a search term, I should have optional filter options
  • Overall very usable, some of the main pages for the games can be difficult to navigate, as it can be hard to find exactly what you need from those pages.
  • page desgins are sometimes inconisitant
  • page layouts are great; very easy to read. a more dedicated sub-site, or categorization of each game in the series could make it even better
  • Pages are broken up and categorized giving each game page a web of easy to use links
  • Pages are easy to navigate and divided into logical subsections.
  • Pages are very accessible. Navigation through game questlines, recreationally researching Tamrielic flora and fauna, and finding anything isn't hard at all.
  • Pages often seem to have formatting problems: the background is replaced by white and things are mixed up somewhat. While this is temporary it does happen often.
  • Perfect.
  • Perhaps the search function could be ever so slightly improved.
  • Personally my favourite wiki for everything TES, been using since Morrowind and have always loved the design.
  • please don't change it.
  • Please don't change the design. It's bright, nice and well-organized
  • Please don't change!
  • Please optimize the search: When I search for "crossbow", the article "Skyrim:Crossbows" ist listed as number twelve...
  • Plenty of links; formats seem fairly standardized. Quite easy to use.
  • Pretty organized.
  • pretty ugly color scheme
  • Probably the most accurate system out of all the sites for a Wiki setup.
  • Professional
  • Really clear and bright, easy to work with.
  • Really easy to maneuver around the site, if just is a little bland.
  • Really good design. Very useful pictures, it completes the information on an article. No problem with the speed, it is great compared with some other sites. Generally the best wiki I've ever been on. I can't understand people who visit other wiki's to learn more about TES.
  • Really good search engine makes finding any help or news easy!
  • Really nice but still some UI developments could be done
  • refer question 1
  • Remarkably user-friendly. It's very easy to find any and all information I need.
  • Responsive buttons and links, proper syntax, smaal font with lots of info. On;y complaint is when linked images or other features don't appear properly, but that could be an editing issue.
  • Same as most wiki's but it does have a slightly better atmosphere to it.
  • Searc option is not working very well, if I make a typo, it cannot find anything.
  • search box could be more accepting of misspellings
  • Search can be very irritable. If you are missing apostrophes search results won't come back, etc.
  • Search could be better, eg. putting pages matching multiple words searched for at the top
  • Search could be better, need to put in almost exactly what you are looking for.
  • Search could use some work. In a search for "Vivec", the Lore article about Vivec himself is quite far down the page.
  • search engine could be a bit better; often google finds better results than build-in engine
  • Search engine needs some work-- I'm sure it's a hard thing to fix, but it's not very accurate.
  • Search filters will help a lot! Sometimes i Don't wanna find morrowind or arena stuff!
  • Search function could use enhancements to make it "smarter". (Provide near matches on spelling errors, provide specific game results first in list when searching from game-related page, i.e., relevance ranking.)
  • Search function could use improvement. General intra-site linking can always be improved.
  • search function is awful
  • Search function is lacking.
  • Search function is limited when an exact match is not found
  • search function isn't always so great
  • search function may act unexpectedly, i.e "mephala quest skyrim" yields strange results
  • Search is the one low point. Often the top is filled with unhelpful articles. Section:<game> in search line to limit search would be great.
  • Search isn't always obvious or comprehensive
  • search needs improvement
  • search option brings up too many broad choices instead of pages that actually containing the keywords being searched
  • search results aren't great
  • Searches could be helped with a preference limiting the games it searches; outside of the advanced search
  • Searches don't always turn up what the user is looking for, but overall, the design and usability are good.
  • searches don't always work
  • searching and finding things can be difficult sometimes, things change and become more obscure
  • Searching could improve.
  • Searching for fairly simple pages (e.g. Skyrim's alchemy skill) can be difficult (typing "skyrim alchemy" into the search box, the Skyrim: Alchemy page doesn't appear on the first page of results)
  • Searching is fairly weak; Difficult to find things. Most searches, even pretty exact ones, do not find right pages
  • Searching is sometimes a little difficult but generally speaking I have no complaints.
  • Searching things can be difficult, such as adding apostraphes to names and mispellings.
  • See above.
  • See comment for question 1. I love the news headlines and featured article and image all on the front/home page.
  • See my comment above--that's really the only thing I wish were improved.
  • See question 1. Everything is presented in a nice layout, making it easy to find things on the page.
  • See question 1's comments.
  • Seems less stream lined than other fan sites
  • Separating things by game is a bit clunky.
  • Should be a way to only search skyrim
  • should have auto fill feature
  • Sidebar once in a game section would be great. For example when you are on the skyrim uesp and choose quests section, the possibility to have access to all of the skyrim uesp content in a sidebar.
  • Similar format to wikipedia's so it's familiar
  • Simple and clean, although maybe slightly dated
  • simple and clean, i like it
  • Simple and clean. Knowing how many times I've come to this site, the biege background is almost iconic - plus it makes reading long articles perfect without getting eye strain.
  • Simple and easy to navigate
  • simple and easy to understand
  • Simple and easy to use
  • Simple and easy to use. Sometimes the search engine isn't as accurate as it could be.
  • simple and easy. but less of my mum. no, i joke. but it is easy to navigate and its not cluttered.
  • Simple front page with whatever you need right there for you
  • Simple to use.
  • Simple Wikipedia-style without the Wikipedia flaws
  • Simple, clean, and appealing. Nothing unnecessary
  • Simple, Functional and very official in appearance. If the Official Prima Guide for Oblivion was a webpage, I would imagine it would be very similar to this wiki.
  • Simple, maybe a drop down bar for searching some harder names, like on Fallout Wiki
  • simple, quick
  • Simple, transparent and eye-friendly design without useless content
  • Simply efficient design.
  • Since there are 3 major needs(MW, OB, SK) Sometimes search result can get confusing(or inconvenient)
  • Since UESP uses design from Wikpedia, it allows easy navigation between pages and searching for information for those, who are used to Wikipedias design
  • Site is easy to very easy to use! i would highly recommend this site over the elder scrolls official wiki!
  • site looks like shit. boring.
  • Site sometimes has information not in the official wiki
  • So much better than the Elder Scrolls Wiki. Also, has more in depth information.
  • So much easier to use and view than the 'official' wiki.
  • Soft colours make it easier to read.
  • Softer color tone for interface maybe ? (Yellow-ish is nice but tiresome for long reading session)
  • Some articles lack detail.
  • Some buttons to close to each other, I miss click sometimes
  • Some few searches require a little faffing with clicking nested links, but that's only really small potatoes.
  • Some important stuff is hidden or just listed along with everything else. I knew I was missing something - how essential enchantments and wearing items reducing destruction cost. How perks are interdependent.
  • Some NPC articles have unclear sections, especially those involving quests and dialogue
  • Some of the deeper info can be a little hard to find. But still not bad.
  • some of the links within the pages are made with smaller fonts sizes, its a problem for people who are visually impaired.
  • Some of the older pages (like from Morrowind) should probably be properly incorporated into the new pages.
  • Some page layouts aren't clear, others are. Example are that some NPC pages are cleanly edited, but other NPC pages are one huge paragraph.
  • some pages could use a bit of work
  • Some pages don't scale well for smaller devices, and the mobile version is sometimes not up to date.
  • Some pages feel "too hidden." I also would not mind if the link to the forums had a greater appeal.
  • Some pages need more in-game screenshots.
  • Some pages should be more direct, like quest pages. Maybe more topics about the consequenses that quest will bring.
  • Some quest are rather minimal but thats for the small quests, the normal questline has a huge walkthrough
  • Some sections are difficult to find on first glance
  • Some sections could use some cleaning up and to match others better.
  • Some things aren't linked in relevant pages, Skyrim:Transport for example should be linked in the main page for convenience.
  • Somehow I feel that information was better organized or more useful back when I played Oblivion than when I used UESP as a reference for Skyrim. But maybe this is just because Skyrim was a newer game.
  • Sometimes a little difficult to differentiate between games when searching for something.
  • sometimes a search will send me in the wrong direction, but i still end up learning something helpful
  • Sometimes articles might wander a bit or could be better organized. But not many.
  • Sometimes awkward to restrict searches to one game
  • Sometimes difficult to switch between the same article in Lore/different games
  • Sometimes hard to navigate, find things, etc.
  • Sometimes have issues with searching different parts of the database; articles in Skyrim, Bloodmoon, Lore, etc.
  • Sometimes I find that material on a subject is spread across too many pages, with separate pages for each game (and a lore page) for a single topic, rather than having one page with multiple sections.
  • Sometimes I have difficulty getting to the right page.
  • Sometimes I have slight difficulty finding what I'm looking for, but usually the search bar works when all else fails.
  • sometimes i have trouble finding a topic. then when i stumble across what i was looking for, i try to follow the pathway back to the home page (to learn how i should have been looking for that topic) i realize that there appears to be no direct path from the homepage to the topic in question.
  • Sometimes I struggle with navigating through main sites' lists of content for games (e.g. http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Morrowind:Morrowind ) but it's rather minor inconvenience.
  • Sometimes images may cover text, where text is short
  • sometimes information on certain things is a bit consultive
  • Sometimes it can be hard to find a specific info (don't know where to look and search is not as good as it could be)
  • Sometimes it's tough to find my way to the unique items page
  • Sometimes searches for specific terms don't give results.
  • Sometimes searching for something specific can be a bit tricky
  • sometimes takes a few tries to find the right menu or page I want, not as intuitive to navigate sometimes
  • sometimes the bulleted options mush together.
  • Sometimes the search can be unhelpful
  • Sometimes the search feature doesn't pick up on the exact resource I am looking for, and I have to navigate to it by other means.
  • Specifically for weapons, armour and item articles, it is difficult to match the designated item/armour/weapon to an image or location. Though not strategy, it would certainly provide a useful idea on where these items are located in the game (much like where quests, NPCs or places are located). The images are on articles, but they're not evidently linked to the items the represent, more so they hover at the bottom of lists or simply not at all.
  • standard good
  • Standard Wiki format. I like it.
  • Standard Wiki layouts are navigable by almost everyone thanks to wikipedia.
  • Straight forward, and a template that people are used to, and like.
  • Streamlined, easy to navigate.
  • Suggestions when using the search bar would be great
  • super intuitive
  • Super user-friendly, always know exactly where im going and what im looking at.
  • supurb navigation
  • Switch to the new WikiMedia layout
  • Switching from searching "Lore" to searching "Skyrim", "Oblivion" etc isn't very intuitive, it'd be nice of there were a more visible way of searching between domains.
  • Thanks for the non-black background, which doesn't make me feel dizzy while reading.
  • That index on the left is great! However, sometimes the search engine messes up because it search for a term in a particular game (e.g cannot switch from "Dawnstar" to "Mehra Milo").
  • The huge amount of links on every page is really convenient
  • The "design" may not be 10/10, but the usability is great.
  • The actual articles are generally of good/great quality, but the search function needs dire simplification. For example, a search for 'iron axe' brings up 20 results for 'Page title matches' alone. What would be better is for it to bring you straight to the skyrim article for 'Iron Axe', and then present a disambiguation page link IE wikipedia.
  • The aesthetics remind of Morrowind for some reason thus my attraction towards it.
  • the background could use a little more design
  • The background is a little bland. I like the coloring though, like aged parchment.
  • The background is a little dull, maybe spice it up?
  • The best thing is the items' page update, thank you, guys!
  • The bland brown is kinda...well...bland. Idk if color would make it look much better but it'd be worth a shot.
  • The breakdown of the games along with the DLC works great
  • The classic Encyclopedia layout is incredibly user-friendly.
  • The color scheme seems homely to me, but maybe that's because I'm used to it.
  • the coloring and design are both unique and stylish in a simply way; nothing to extravagant, and easily navigable. .
  • The colour scheme hurts the eyes.
  • The default color scheme is a bit bland, but it fits given the games, so no real complaints
  • The degree of uniformity is amazing
  • The design and layout is fantastic. It's simple and easy to find what you're looking for.
  • the design and usability of the UESP's webpage is pretty good, im always on the website, everyday, reading new articles, looking up new recipes, or simply studying for my next quest, im my honest opinion, its better then the revised and expanded edition of The Elder Scrolls: V Skyrim Official Game Guide
  • The design could be a bit more standardized.
  • The design doesn't stand out to me, but the site is easy to navigate.
  • The design feels a little outdated but it is still very functional
  • The design for the site is appealing. It sometimes seem simple but elaborate if that makes sense. The bar on the left side is very useful for traveling between the various entries in the series and their add-ons. The search function has always yeilded results.
  • The design is a bit a bland but in the same time rather useful
  • the design is a bit bland. same with the logo. add some new features to liven it up. Perhap an ancient scroll type background.
  • The design is aesthetic and stands out, UESP is as easy to use then Wikipedia.
  • The design is as best a wiki can get.
  • The design is good; I would however like to see the usability upgraded a bit more (i.e. The ability for the user to edit in source mode and non-source mode).
  • The design is great and everything is easy to find.
  • The design is great, but the usability is a little complicated when using the browser. For example sometimes leading you to a non-related page/link of the UESP.
  • the design is like the elder scroll's! beautifull and adventures
  • The design is nice, yet minimal. And the beige-like colour is not too extravagant to be an eye sore yet decorative enough to pleasantly view the website.
  • the design is perfect (MUCH better than the wikia one), but as i said ealier, the search funtion can be a pain
  • The design is pretty decent. It's easy to naigate thanks to the left menu. However, the site's main page seems to be cluttered and too wordy.
  • The design is simple and easy to navigate.
  • The design is simple and easy to use and read, no unnecessary graphics.
  • The design is simple which makes it easy to use an navigate and doesn't give me any issues finding information or links.
  • The design is simple, easy to find things.
  • The design is that of a standard wiki, which is good and easy to navigate. The search function unfortunately has very low tolerance concerning typos and names that are for whatever reason not entered 100% correctly
  • The design is unique; it doesn't lool like a normal wiki.
  • The Design is very easy to use. If I need to check something on Morrowind, I just click on the name and boom, at the morrowind page, then link to the area I need, I.E. Quests, items, NPCS... ETC. Very easy to use.
  • The design isn't anything too special, but it's very accesible and very structured.
  • The design isn't very modern looking but, very intuitive.
  • The design looks good, though not top-modern. I think this is actually good, because it's very usable this way
  • The design might be a bit dated, but it works and the information is easy to find - that's all that matters.
  • The design pertains to the mood of the Elder Scrolls which makes it authentic, the usability is also very good because the wiki can always help you find what you are looking for.
  • The design seems fairly standard, but the beauty about that is the lack of clutter and unnecessary elements. It's extremely easy to use, and navigating it is pretty simple.
  • The design works, and it works well; however, I feel there is a missing factor. Maybe just change for the sake of change itself; you have to keep things interesting.
  • the designs are a perfect fit for the elder scrolls and make it easy to use
  • The drab and brown parchment thing is starting to get to me after all these years
  • the easy access to the different games it a great tool and how in articles you have the words that you can click on to lead you to another section in that subject is really awesome
  • the Flash ads seem to cause problems w/ the Steam web browser
  • The format of discussion pages for various entries can be confusing; too much policing of proper info clutters actual discussion of entry.
  • The game specific search is particularly nice
  • The home page could perhaps do with a slight overhaul in the way news stories are presented.
  • The homepage isn't very friendly, and really detracts from the search function, which is the main use of the Wiki in my opinion.
  • The hyperlinks connecting the articles to each other are very useful. Saves needing to search for the related items/quests/NPC's in a second window or tab.
  • The interface is great, but the overall visual style could do with some improvement
  • the interface is intuitive and easy
  • The interface is very simple and its easy to find what you need. And I always stumble into something new.
  • The lay-out is very intuitive and comprehensible. However, I wouldn't mind an (optional) more modern looking design.
  • The layout is amazing. The colors and scheme are perfect. They really set the mood
  • The layout is fantastic. I can find exactly what I need, and I have not encountered any issues at all.
  • The layout is good and easy to read.
  • The layout is very comfortable to read and the easy to use links allow you to dart around from one topic to the another with ease,
  • The layout itself is simple which is much easier to use when you get accustomed to it. The only problem that i've seen recently is that when searching off the homepage for skyrim related things (magic especially) Links cannot be found to the pages
  • The layout makes it very easy to read and find what I'm looking for.
  • The light colour scheme helps it appear open, friendly and easy to navigate
  • The link to Random Page sometimes takes you to the same page over and over.
  • The links are very intuitive and the articles are very thorough, although I find it visually much less appealing than elderscrolls.wikia.com
  • The lists are very confusing
  • The Lore page is confusing and unintuitive. Otherwise site is great.
  • The lore section is a bit off place. If maybe there was a way we could look it in it other than alphabetical?
  • the main reason its my go to site is its organization. To me the design is a little dated but thats just my taste, i might think about freshening up the graphics but it doesn't take away from usability of the site
  • The map runs a little slow but the rest of the site runs fine and easy to use.
  • The maps could do with better integration.
  • The maps, items, NPCs, etc are organized into games. The use of the Construction Set or the Creation Kit helps many PC players with console commands, which is very useful.
  • The mobile version of the site is especially good and have recommended it to my friends.
  • The namespace system can be confusing/annoying, but disambiguation pages are just as annoying too. I'm not sure if it would be possible for a better system or not.
  • The navigation tools make using uesp simple
  • The official wiki's design in a very little bit better than this
  • The only problem I have with the UESP, and this is the same for all wikis, is the search function not the greatest. (I've been pampered by Google.)
  • The only problems I've run into are for looking up pages on new DLC i.e. Dawnguard. However, it is usually linked on the side after a week or so.
  • The only real drawback is learning to use the search
  • The peach colored background resembles parchment.
  • the random button is the only problem. It seems to be only set to a certain page every so often.
  • The random page button will always lead to the same page until you reopen UESP
  • The Random Page under general now shows more than one page per day when selected, which is great.
  • The search bar is a bit rubbish. It doesn't give any suggestions, and it can't work out what you want. For example searching "tamriel rebuilt" comes up with loads of random pages about it, but not Tamriel Rebuilt's main article.
  • The search box is far too small, the links on the left need to be much bigger for easy viewing, the forums should be more fleshed out than they currently are.
  • The search engine comes up with funny results sometimes, so it might need a little optimizing.
  • The search engine could be largly improved
  • The search engine could use a little more tweaking.
  • The search engine doesn't always find items even with exact words
  • The search engine is absolutely terrible though.
  • The search engine is kinda quirky.
  • the search engine was better before tes5 release
  • The search feature is terrible. I usually have to google search to find what I'm looking for on your site.
  • The search feature seems a little confused at times. A setting to limit a search to one game would be nice.
  • The search features could be less strict, maybe allow the option to disable certain articles when searching. For example, being able to check a box so that only Skyrim related pages will appear if I type in something like "Races" without the need to type "Skyrim:Races."
  • The search function could be a little smoother, and there are a lot of articles "flagged for redesign"
  • The search function could be improved quite a bit, but everything else seems fine.
  • The search function could be tided up a little.
  • The search function could use some work - if I search the exact name of the article I want it sometimes won't show up at all
  • The search function is not great, it often defaults to the page title matches even if the search matches an existing page.
  • The search function is possibly the worst on the internet. Relevance is the lowest priority and consistent references to the least relevant page is usually the first result.
  • The search function seems to have some trouble finding some pages, such as searching "Vivec" gives many locations and books mentioning the name before it actually gives lore on the character "Vivec".
  • The search function when looking for articles doesn't always seem to take you to relevant articles.
  • The search is hard to use
  • The search is somewhat difficult to use so I always resort to google.
  • The search page was a bit tricky to learn (as in (de)active results from certain namespaces) at first, but other than that, very user-friendly!
  • The search results could have better info, alot of coding language comes up under page titles.
  • The search results seem to bring up older content though, even though I include 'skyrim' in the search
  • The search-function is sometimes hard to use because it doesn't handel well with spell-mistakes
  • the Shit
  • The sidebar is not worth an A+. But with the search button you can easily get everything you want
  • The simplicity of the design keeps the eye on the content of the pages, and it is very easy to use.
  • The simplicity to use the site likely stems from its similarity to typical wiki/wikia layouts. I enjoy the unique design though.
  • The simplified wiki formatting is fun and easy to use
  • the simply yet good looking design allows fast speed when navigating the site, and very easy to find the info i needed or was interested in
  • The site could benefit from the use of portals in order to organize topics better. (see http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Portal)
  • The site could use a facelift, but it does its job.
  • the site functions and basic set up are easy to find and easy to use.
  • The site is easy to use and navigate, and is very user friendly
  • The site is easy to use for when I am stuck in-game or when I just want to find a out about TES lore
  • The site is laid out well and takes no time to find information.
  • The site is simple and easy to understand.
  • The site is very well made.
  • The site is well designed, except for some pages, that are similar in meaning and purpose but somewhy aren't merged or even interconnected.
  • The structure of the website is really good. One link can lead you to a plethora of relevant information and you can really go in depth if you need to. Style is simplistic but appealing even so and the links on the side make it easy to know where to go to find what you need.
  • The tan can be a bit bland, but it brings on a bit of nostalgia, which is nice.
  • The thing I cant stand is that if you type one thing wrong it doesn't work at all, for example if I wanted to look up "Skyrim" but accidently typed in "Dyrim" then I would get no result, PLEASE FIX THIS!!!!
  • The UESP is definitely user friendly. It flows very well and it's design is simple and easy and well laid out to navigate through. I think it is close to perfect.
  • The UESP is laid out in such a way as to make it easy to use -- and easy to add information or corrections.
  • The uesp is one of the best wiki type sites that i have use. It seems that many people have dedicated a lot of time and effort into creating and maintaining it. Being able to compare stats and look up lore instead of having to search for it all in game has greatly added to my elder scrolls experience.
  • The UI is top notch.
  • The usability is fantastic! I think a look update might be nice, but that is my only suggestion~
  • The usability is superb and the only design feature I would recommend is a perhaps different backgrounds or themes for the various areas. Maybe a library theme for the lore section or themes specific to each game for their respective sections.
  • The usability of the UESP is great, but I think it should at least change the design because they are already one year that I enter the UESP and continues the same design.
  • The use of namespaces sometimes makes it hard to jump directly to content; I need to use the search function a lot
  • The use of the wiki platform has improved finding... well... EVERYTHING since the halcyon days of the game-specific pages. While admittedly things are still categorized according to game, everything is far far more accessible than before.
  • The website is really easy to navigate through.
  • The wiki format and the fact that the FormIDs for everything from ingredients to cells are here makes this one of my most-visited sites
  • The wiki format is great, but the way UESP is using it is heavily outdated.
  • The wiki format serves as a good and familiar base for the site.
  • The wiki should be modernized, the forums are great as is
  • The wiki- like design. Me gusta mucho.
  • The wikipedia-like setup works well, but the backgrounds, icons, logo could use some work.
  • The writing is legible, although it could do with a mobile version.
  • There are a few useless articles (especially with older games). But that's not a big deal.
  • there could be more crosslinks, for example, direct from Morrowind Items Page to Tribunal Items Page, Tamriel Rebuilt Items Page, etc.
  • There could be some consistency with main page layout. For example Morrowind and Daggerfall have a link to enchanting on the main page, but for Skyrim and Oblivion you have to go through the magic link to get there.
  • There could be some design tweaks but its meerly my own opinion
  • There have been times pages have felt clustered or crowded, but it is overall a nice design.
  • There honestly has been nothing I haven't been able to get to. A couple places are a bit confusing when there are a couple articles for one thing.
  • There is great site navagatoin and everything is easy to find
  • There should be a mobile enabled version, without the background. On PC, it is perfect.
  • There used to be a search feature where you could search for something and it would find it based on the game of the article you were just looking at. Can you bring that back?
  • There's nothing particularity wrong with the UI, it just seems a bit dates, and improvements could defiantly be made.
  • They layout is beginning to feel a little stale to me, but it's not broken by any means.
  • This background makes comfy to read, few images and plain html help go a lots of text.
  • This is definitely one of the most well desinged sites around.
  • This is my favorite part about uesp.
  • This is the best dedicated WIKI I've seen when compared to other game-based wikis in terms of eas of access.
  • this is the weaknesses of uesp, the design is perfect but not colorful.
  • This Morrowind-styled theme is far better than the style used by elder scrolls wiki.
  • This question was a double edge sword. I enjoy the easy maneuverability of the site, but at the same time it makes the site a little dull. However, I feel if too much was changed it would become a lot harder to get around on the site.
  • This site has made playing through difficult quests a lot easier
  • This site's layout is very easy to figure out, and was especially useful when I first started playing Elder Scrolls.
  • Though for some things, a table showing the stats (money, weight etc) of items would be helpful.
  • Though sites's overall appearance is somewhat dated, it's also really homey because of that. Its more accessible than the Elder Scrolls Wikia too, and nicely organized.
  • TOO DARK
  • Topics are easy to find and the search bar is very useful.
  • Traditional wiki-style design. No complaints
  • UESP has a fantastic, clean, attractive layout that makes finding what I'm looking for a snap.
  • UESP is design is good and i reckon even my mum could use it because of the usability being so good but, maybe she should actually play the game first.
  • UESP is easy to navigate and follows a typical wiki format, I especially appreciate how articles are grouped into categories such as lore or by game
  • UESP is one of the best wikis I have ever used
  • uesp is set out like many other wiki style sites so is easily familiarised and very simple to navigate
  • UESP is very easy to navigate and use from the design of the website.
  • UESP is very organized, making it very appealing overall as a site.
  • UESP looks similar to any other wiki, which makes it easy to find most things, but often topics are in odd places because some admin decided to put it in an odd category.
  • UESP"S deisgn is simple but very good not to fancy but not bad .
  • Usability - I'd say it's very simple and easy-to-use. I do have to say though that the theme that is used seems rather old. Even so - it's not a major issue.
  • usability great but the overall appearence could be in more appealing colors
  • Usability is fine, but I'd like to see more in the way of design
  • usability is good, because everything is cross-linked. design could be better...
  • Usability is Great, but the design looks a bit boring.
  • Usability is great, design is good also - nothing much, just when you search something you always have to type the game, ex. Oblivion:Volendrung, but luckily there's matches to it :) you could type something like, did you mean...(this or that) :)
  • Usability is great, design layout seems a little outdated.
  • Usability is nice. Design is classic, which I respect, but aesthetically is not ground breaking. (Not that it's an issue to me...just being honest)
  • Usability is very good, design depends only on the one's preferences. I like it very much - clean and useful.
  • User friendly...clear and very helpful
  • Using the Lore Section, you really have no way of not finding what you need to find. The design is warm and feels like home while the usability is so simplicistic, no one could get lost.
  • Utilization of the Google engine for forum searches was especially good.
  • Very clean and clear. Easy to navigate to what I need and tells me all information available.
  • Very clear and clean, and easy to find things. Visually a little dull, though. It would be nice to see something apart from the logo tell that I'm on a TES site.
  • very clear and functional, makes use of the entire screen and isn't bloated, exemplary
  • Very clear with practical layout
  • Very decent design (not too bloated), you get used to it fast and you never lose orientation, and furthermore it fits the Elder Scrolls Series
  • Very easy access to other pages and a well-structured homepage
  • Very easy and accessible.
  • Very easy and useful.
  • very easy to find right page
  • Very easy to find what one is looking for, though sometimes it's hard to search articles for newer games when Morrowind or Oblivion results overtake them.
  • Very easy to get around, and very detailed in your guide.
  • Very easy to get to the pages you need, but the searching can be a pain on occasion.
  • Very easy to locate what you are looking for.
  • Very easy to navagate
  • Very easy to navigate and find articles.
  • Very easy to navigate and the articles are written in an easily understandable way, which is great, especially for non-native english speakers like myself.
  • Very easy to navigate efficiently.
  • Very easy to navigate through the tons of information.
  • Very easy to navigate, aesthetically pleasing.
  • Very easy to navigate, all information is simple to find.
  • very easy to navigate, and in my experience more detailed than other sites
  • Very easy to navigate, well laid out.
  • Very easy to navigate.
  • Very easy to navigate.
  • Very easy to navigate.
  • Very easy to use
  • Very easy to use
  • Very easy to use
  • Very easy to use and everything is very simple and understandable.
  • Very easy to use, and easy to follow and even help add info where you can.
  • Very easy to use! I can find whatever I want to find, and more.
  • Very easy to use.
  • Very easy to use.
  • Very efficient layout
  • Very fond of the parchment texture, and the online books are fun to read with a font size that is friendly to the eyes, as opposed to the size 11 font on the Elder Scrolls Wiki
  • very good
  • Very good on some parts, but sometimes hard to find some things.
  • Very good, but as stated before, more pages and less lists.
  • Very informative and concise, as I'm sure others should believe.
  • Very inviting compared to other wikis, not just flat out white. Lots of sources and tabs for info.
  • Very Lacklustre design
  • Very Manageable, a good idea maybe to setup and advance the lore menu and the in game world, game to game. Accurate ways to find the lore and hidden secrets, including languages if possible. Many Exist but find a way to improve or introduce a menu system to access these all from one master source...haha
  • very nice and useful website! i have sent hours on studying elder scrolls!
  • very nice only site i use for the elder scrolls
  • Very organized and easy to navigate, but the graphics could use a touch up.
  • Very organized and very user friendly.
  • Very sensibly layed out.
  • Very simple and intuitive
  • Very simple and user friendly! I love the color scheme. Can read the text really easily.
  • Very structured, no nonsense, keep it that way please!
  • Very usable, design is pretty basic, but fluff isn't really needed anyway.
  • very user friendly and easy to use (but then again all wiki sites are easy to use :) )
  • Very user friendly, a "related pages" function could be very useful.
  • Very user-friendly, and very appropriate font/background selection.
  • Very user-friendly, easy to get around and lots of data on each topic.
  • Very very easy usability and design is fine.
  • Very, very well organised. The system is easy to navigate, broken down to the very bone of sections. It's neat and tidy, easy for anyone to figure out.
  • viewing locations on the map is very difficult
  • Visually attractive and has been for the 4 years I've used this site
  • Well designed with it all the different games/regions labelled clearly. Really well done
  • Well designed-and structured to easily find information required
  • Well, it's a wikidesign and nothing special. But overall it looks nice.
  • Well, it's acessible and compact. What else is needed?
  • When clicking on an item that's categorized in a large list, the bookmark makes it so that I have to scroll up slightly to see the entirety of the description and whatnot for that particular item.
  • When I search for entries I know exist for things in Skyrim, they seem to not appear, or come up at the bottom of the page, far past things that are not anywhere near as relevant.
  • when searching things can get weird
  • When searching, if misspeled a word, would be good to have "did you mean" option
  • when you have a prefix that has to differentiate between different articles with the same name, it bugs me
  • Whenever I have a question about a game or the elder scrolls lore this is the website I use.
  • Whenever you need to find something, it's right there for you. No confusion, nothing hidden.
  • While it is incredibly easy to use the site, some more headings while subdividing sections of quests, items, characters, etc would be appreciated.
  • While it took me a few visits to get used to the subsections (for lack of a better term). I now feel like the way the layout is, I can see all of the information very quickly and can easily get detailed info just as quick. I think it is very user friendly but I can see people getting confused coming from other more simplistic wikias.
  • While UESP's design good, I think the layout could've been better
  • Why can't you select which section you want to peruse (Morrowind, Skyrim, etc.) before searching so you don't have to keep typing "Morrowind:alchemy" or whatever?
  • Wiki magic at its finest
  • Wikimedia formatting is near perfect for this type of material.
  • Wikis aren't exactly the best way to find information, but the Morrowind section here is extremely complete, thorough, answering questions I didn't even think to ask. TheOblivion and skyrim sections on the other hand seem to be suffering form sort of editing war between some users where perfectly usable articles are randomly changed or altered until they are substantially less concise and useful. Especially with new Skyrim information and secondary or faction associated quests in Oblivion, much needed information is available initially, then suddenly lacking.
  • wikis don't tend to be beautiful
  • With regards my last two answers: I am entirely satisfied with speed/design/etc. and would have no idea how to improve them. They seem very similar to attributes of other sites, however, so I cannot say they are exceptional.
  • With the huge amount of lore and things know in the Elder Scrolls, this design works well.
  • wonderful
  • Wonderfully easy to navigate
  • would be better with a new background
  • Would be great, but sometimes the search algorithm seems a little bit unpredictable.
  • Would be nice to easily search only one of the games (e.g., only results for Oblivion)
  • Would be nice to have search work for a specific game.
  • Would like a little bit more selections when chosing category to read, otherwise best site ever
  • Would like to be able to default to Skyrim or Oblivion's home page.
  • Would perfer if search box was in top-right below the "banner" as that is typical layout
  • You change the search options the old ones were better
  • You could add an auto correct button in the search bar. Sometimes I have a little trouble with spelling
  • You could perhaps upgrade the design, however it is easy to find whatever you want, it would just be nice if it was a bit more pleasant to the eye
  • You could use a slightly darker color for the background
  • You guys did an awesome job on this site, good work.
  • you have a simple design - and simplicity is always the best option :)
  • you need a new background, make it look a little more modern, but keep the same set up for the search and access to the games home pages.
  • You need to make it easier to find places on the map. Allow access to the map directly from the search results.
  • You need to make some kind of auto-correct on search results. For example if I search after "severio pelagi" I get 0 results (simply because of a spelling mistake or that I missed a letter), where as "severio pelagia" takes me to the right page instantly
  • Your links are great, the articles incredibly informative and well written. I wish the search feature was a little more fine tuned.
  • Your site is very well laid out and easy to use. I find just about everything that I am looking for.
