Who are you calling "Imperfect"?
The Imperfect are two giant mechanical constructs that were built by Sotha Sil in his Clockwork City and stationed as guards outside of his laboratory. Only one of the Imperfect is found working. It is capable of close combat and powerful shock damage magic, and its Rebuild ability allows it to regenerate health and magicka. It drops a unique potion, the Elixir of the Imperfect, although it may drink it in combat.

- Depending on the player's difficulty settings, it can be challenging to kill Imperfect before it drinks its unique Elixir of the Imperfect. The simplest solution to this is to lower the difficulty slider for this fight, minimizing the window of time that Imperfect can drink the elixir. For players who don't want to alter the difficulty settings and have the Bloodmoon expansion, the Ebony Arrows of Slaying are an option to remove all of Imperfect's health in a single hit, regardless of difficulty.
- Although it has resistances to Fire, Frost, Shock and Poison, he seems to have no resistance against Magicka. This makes magicka based spells like Absorb Health, Drain Health and Damage Health quite useful against him, especially if coupled with a Weakness to Magicka debuff.
- Since he has no resistance against Magicka, a few powerful spells of Damage Magicka will be enough to permanently stop him from casting his rather powerful Shock spell.
- A weak magnitude but long duration of Levitate on target spell will significantly slow down his movement, making the fight far more comfortable.
- They also appear in ESO: Clockwork City. There it is revealed that Imperfects are a type of the mechanical construct known as Factotums.
- They also appear as cards in Legends, with the Clockwork City storyline.
