Ghostly Misery

After you return its beloved's ring, the Pilgrim Ghost has another mission for you. It tells you that the souls of his fellow pilgrims are still restless and need to be freed so that it can rest itself. You must find the remains of the pilgrims and prey for their release:

(The ghost whispers) "My brethren still need to be freed. Will you help them?"

Yes I am ready.

"There are five other ghosts. Please lay their bones to rest and return so I may know my time has come as well."

Dem Bones

In the far southwest corner of the level are several piles of bones. As you approach you will receive a message that you have started to pray for the bones of the pilgrim, urging him to pass beyond. More messages follow until eventually you hear a shriek when praying for the final pilgrim. It seems this one doesn't want to pass on peacefully.

You quickly recite a prayer for the bones of the pilgrim, urging him to pass beyond.
You continue to recite your prayer.
As you pray for the pilgrims, something behind you echoes those words. Turning quickly, you see nothing.
As you pray for the last pilgrim, a shriek pierces the air. Apparently this one did not want to rest in peace.

Hunger Pangs

The spirit of the last pilgrim manifests itself as a Wight that attacks immediately. Unlike most creatures, this one respawns. Kill it once and then head back to the ghost.

Requiescat In Pace

The Pilgrim Ghost thanks you despite admitting fear at what is to follow:

"Thank you. I am afraid of what is next, but still... thank you." (The ghost pauses, looking to the southwest.) "Yes... they still call to me." (The pilgrim fades away)

It then fades away leaving you with a reward of 2,250XP.
