- "Skyrim... killed us, all of us, yet we are still bound to this place."
- Us?
- "We were simple pilgrims, here to seek answers from the divine crystal. They came, corrupted the crystal for their own purposes.
And they killed us.
I need final rest, as do my companions. Will you help us?"

But first, you must destroy the desecrated crystal. They use it to fortify themselves.

- "The pain... is the right sort... I am grateful."
- (The pilgrim sways back and forth, lost in thought.)
Pilgrim Ghost Party[edit]
- (The ghost whispers)
- "My brethren still need to be freed. Will you help them?"
-
- Not right now.
-
- Yes I am ready.
- "There are five other ghosts. Please lay their bones to rest and return so I may know my time has come as well."
If spoken to before all the pilgrim's spirits have been freed:
- "Please... my brethren wait."
Once all the spirits have been freed:
- "Thank you. I am afraid of what is next, but still... thank you."
- (The ghost pauses, looking to the southwest.)
- "Yes... they still call to me."
- (The pilgrim fades away)
