Quick Walkthrough

1. Talk to Jo'Taash about give a performance and the Snake.
2. Wearing your outfit, speak to Filhallil.
3. Defeat the Snake.
4. Report back to Filhallil.

Detailed Walkthrough

Following your victory in Saint, speak to Jo'Taash by the pit's rim about give a performance. He's decided to pit you against the Snake. Mask up, and talk to Filhallil by the pit entrance, before proceeding down the corridor to the pit itself.

The story here varies depending on your role. If you are the Pilgrim, then Snake here is presented as a hero of the Nibenay, representing innumerable gods in a battle against you, the hero of Colovia. To the Brigand, you have suggested that the Snake may not have Tsaesci heritage after all, and so have been challenged to a duel. To the Creature, you just object to a human using the same name as your actual snake friends.

Regardless of the tale, you must win the fight as usual by bringing the Snake down to 20% health, and not 0%, before she does the same to you. Winning will net you 300 gold from Filhallil, losing will net the same (but also the loss of your job here), and killing the Snake will terminate the questline without reward.

• This quest cannot be undertaken while the Cyrodiil Thieves Guild quest The Fix is In is active.
