Vallanytha Grotto is a flooded cave connecting the beach to the sewers of Anvil. It can be entered from either the sewers of Anvil's Garden Quarter, or from the beach immediately to the east of the city walls. It is a hideout of the Placid Drowner Cult - a gathering that venerates Molag Bal through ritual drowning. Unless you are a member of the cult yourself, the occupants are hostile.
There is little of value here, but a Ring of Restore Fortitude can be recovered half-buried in the sand of the northernmost chamber. A flooded room to the southeast contains a chest filled with jewelry.
