Quick Walkthrough

1. Speak with Zanthus outside the Lacorius Estate in Thresvy about Nito Nesba.
2. Enter the estate's distillery and either:
   • Ask Sigorn Lacorius (with 90+ disposition) about Nito Nesba.
   • Talk to Nilius Noma (with 80+ disposition) about the same topic.
3. Ask Nilius about the ten thousand drake debt and either:
   • With 10,000 gold, pay off the debt (ends quest, see Notes).
   • Ask if he can pay off the debt through working, then ask him about employ Nito Nesba.
4. In either order:
   • Find a new job for Nilius by...
     • ...speaking to Zanthus:
       1. Ask Zanthus about business with Nito and bounty hunter.
       2. Bring the Letter from Triego to Nilius.
       3. (Optional) With 30+ disposition, ask Zanthus about the ten thousand drake debt for 500 gold.
     • ...speaking to Sigorn:
       1. Travel to Goldstone.
       2. Ask Queen Millona Conomorus about employ Nito Nesba with 90+ disposition.
       3. (Optional) With 30+ disposition, ask Sigorn about the ten thousand drake debt for 500 gold.
     • ...speaking to Raco Derrissa:
       1. Travel to the Abecette in Anvil's Garden Quarter.
       2. Ask Raco about employ Nito Nesba with 80+ disposition, and pay the 1,000 gold down payment if you haven't already.
       3. (Optional) With 9,000 gold, speak to Nilius and pay off the debt (ends quest, see Notes).
   • Speak with Raco Derrissa about Nito Nesba's debt and make a 1,000 gold down payment on the debt.
5. Return to the Lacorius Estate and inform Nito Nesba that you've taken care of his debt and found work for him.
6. (Optional) Speak to Nito Nesba at his new place of employment for 1,000 gold.

Detailed Walkthrough

The Lacorius Estate stands to the east of Thresvy. A visitor named Zanthus stands outside of its eastern gate. Talk to him and he'll explain that he's looking for Nito Nesba, and will ask if you can help find the man within the estate. You'll need to agree before you can progress. Zanthus has some vague business with Nito, and with 60+ disposition you can get him to tell you what it is.

Whether you clarify Zanthus' business or not, enter the estate and ask about the Nito Nesba topic. Only a couple of individuals can point you to him - these are Sigorn Lacorius (with 90+ disposition), and Nilius Noma (with 80+ disposition). Both can be found in the basement of the distillery building. Persuading either one to talk will reveal that Nilius Noma is Nito Nesba, and that he owes a ten thousand drake debt to Raco Derrissa, the owner of The Abecette casino in Anvil.

Ask Nilius about the ten thousand drake debt topic. If you have 10,000 gold on you, you have the option of paying the debt immediately. If you do this, the quest will end and you will go unrewarded, but for a +1 increase in your Cyrodiil Reputation. Nilius/Nito's body will later be found in Anvil's sewers, presumably as a result of his debts catching up to him.

If you don't have 10,000 gold on you, then you can ask Nito if he can work his debt off somehow. He'll bemoan that nobody wishes to employ Nito Nesba anymore. Ask him about this topic, and he'll raise the possibility of speaking to Raco Derrissa. It's one of a couple of potential leads on work for Nito that you can follow. Other leads include one suggested by Sigorn - working as a tutor for the queen at Goldstone, although this is only possible if Queen Millona Conomorus still rules from there. Additionally, if you pressed Zanthus on his business with Nito, you can get a third option - Nito and Zanthus partnering up to make a fortune from orichalc.

You now have two tasks to accomplish - look to settle Nito's debt with Raco, and find him a job. You can pursue these in any order.

Nito's New Job

Abecette promotor: The man to whom Nito owes the debt can also employ him to work it off. To pursue this route, go to Anvil and enter The Abecette Casino. You'll find Raco Derrissa in the Inner Hall (ignore the 'fake' in the Fight Pit). Talk to him about the employ Nito Nesba topic. With 80+ disposition (and a 1,000 gold down payment on the debt if you haven't already handed that over), he'll agree.

Metals merchant: On uncovering Nilius' true identity, you can return to Zanthus - the Redguard who first asked that you find Nito. Talk to him about the business with Nito and bounty hunter topics. He'll give you a Letter from Triego, the prince of Rihad, to vouch that Zanthus is who he says he is. With this information you can return to Nito. Ask him about the bounty hunter and business with Nito topics, and he'll provisionally accept the job - so long as his debt is cleared first. That's good enough for Zanthus, who will front 500 gold towards said debt if asked with 30+ disposition.

Queen's tutor: If you want to follow Sigorn's suggestion, travel to Goldstone in Anvil, and speak to Queen Millona Conomorus in the Great Hall about employ Nito Nesba. With 90+ disposition, she will agree to do so. If you return to Sigorn now to ask her about the ten-thousand drake debt, she'll take the queen's favor as a good sign, and (with 30+ disposition) will give you 500 gold towards it.

Settling Up With Raco Derrissa

This part is relatively straightforward. You can find Raco in The Abecette's Inner Hall. Ask him about the ten-thousand drake debt, and request that Nito be allowed to work his debt off over time. Provided that you give him 1,000 gold as a down payment, he'll agree to let Nito come home safely.

As a note, once the down payment is with Raco, you can return to Nilius to pay off the remaining 9,000 gold debt yourself - this has the same effect as paying off the 10,000 gold debt however, with Nito turning up dead later.

Back to Nito

With his debt problems postponed and a job lined up, return to Nilius Noma at the distillery and ask him about the ten-thousand drake debt. Let him know that Raco has agreed for him to work his debts off over time. He'll then ask what he should do next. You can suggest any of the three possible jobs, provided that you've lined them up for him. Whichever job you suggest will determine Nito's ultimate destination - either the Great Hall of Goldstone, the Inner Hall of The Abecette, or outside Anvil's Chamber of Commerce. At these locations he appears under his true name. Speaking to him at these will reward you with a further 1,000 gold (neatly paying off your down payment to Raco). He'll also be able to offer his services to you as a Master Trainer in Speechcraft.

Notes

• If you pay Nito's debt off, he will later be found dead in the sewers of the Garden Quarter in Anvil.
• If Queen Millona Conomorus no longer sits the kingdom's throne, the court tutor route is impossible - although if Nito already had the job at the time of her dethronement, he'll remain in Goldstone and hopes to retain it.

Bugs

• If you convince Nito to partner with Zanthus, he will tell you he can be found outside the Chamber of Commerce in Anvil in the future; stage 210 of this quest, however, will tell you he can be found outside the Trident Exchange. Nito will actually be located outside the Chamber of Commerce. ^?
