Recollection Venombows are hostile Wood Elf poison archers that can be encountered in Oathsworn Pit. Weaker venombows can be found out in the wilderness in the West Weald.

Seeds of Suspicion[edit]

While you're making your way up the tree-fortress in Hoperoot, you will overhear a Beastcaller having a conversation with a Venomcaller:

Recollection Beastcaller: It's not just about reclaiming what was lost. This is about our heritage!
Recollection Venombow: Soon Dawnwood will spread and drive out those Colovian bastards.

After you used the Echonir, and you make your way up in search of King Nantharion, you will overhear a conversation between a Venombow and a Whipvine:

Recollection Venombow: Look around you. This forest is just the first of the changes we have been promised.
Recollection Whipvine: Maybe. But it's up to us to earn those promised rewards. We'll have to fight for them.

Skills and Abilities[edit]

Quick Shot
A basic ranged attack that does minor physical damage.
Poisoned Arrow
A basic ranged attack which poisons the target and causes poison damage over time.
Roll Dodge
The enemy can roll dodge to avoid attacks.
Acid Spray
The enemy shoots a spray of poison arrows in the direction it is facing as indicated by a red cone. This attack does very high poison damage over time as well as snares all enemies hit. This attack can be interrupted to set the enemy off balance or simply avoided. Blocking also prevents the snare and reduces the damage.
Arrow Stab
A basic melee attack that does minor physical damage. Where the Poison Archer grabs their arrow and stabs it into you rather than firing it.
