Quest-Related Events[edit]
After you spoke with Tamien Sellan during Legitimate Interests, he will be at his wagon. When you approach him:
- "Someone has to stand up to these Red Rook villains!"
He will ask for your aid to deal with the Red Rook Enforcers.
If you met with Tamien and speak to him during Legitimate Interests:
- "Did you meet with Tamien Sellan? He's got the right idea.
Time to take back this town."
If you completed Legitimate Interest but haven't started The Miner's Lament:
- "I won't do it. I won't pay any more hard-earned gold to those Red Rook dogs.
It's time for action, I say! - What do you plan to do?
- "The Red Rook enforcers have threatened, extorted, or beaten us at every turn. They claim it's for our own protection, but they just want our gold. They're not even honest about their thievery!
I say it's time to fight back." - I can help.
- "That's what I wanted to hear!
If you stand up to those greedy bastards, it will show the rest of the town that we can take back Crosswych." - I'll deal with the enforcers.
After you've accepted the quest, he'll just say:
- "Gelves and his Red Rooks are worse than a plague. They're worse than Daedra.
In fact, they're worse than a plague of Daedra!"
Once you've rescued some citizens from the Red Rooks, return to him:
- "Did you teach those Red Rooks a lesson?"
- The Red Rook enforcers shouldn't bother those people anymore.
- "I don't know what happened to us. We're mountain folk and miners. We shouldn't be so easily cowed.
You've given us back our courage. Thank you."
If spoken to again:
- "Finally, someone stood up to those bandits. The townsfolk you saved are all determined to fight the Red Rooks now.
The resistance grows, my friend."
Once the Red Rooks are booted out of Crosswych:
- "All Crosswych is talking about you.
The Red Rooks are on the run. If they try to stop, we'll chase them right out of town."
