Quest-Related Events

After you've lit the signal fires in Varen's Watch, you can exit the fort and look for Captain Abitius and her squad. Her group will be nearby, and they are questioning their defiant captive Larchisse. Speaking to Legionary Florentius Caro before the captain:

"The signal fires … they're lit! Looks like Legionary Thania came through! But if you need something, you should talk to the captain."

Once you've spoken to Captain Abitius but before completing the quest:

"Cowards... shooting arrows from a distance. A true warrior faces their opponent up close so they can look them in the eye!"

After completing the quest:

"Thank you for not letting Legionary Thania's death be in vain. I feel my strength slowly return every time I look at the fires.
As soon as help arrives, we'll strike back! Varen's Watch will be ours again in no time."
