In the over 30 years of The Elder Scrolls, multiple sweepstakes have been held by Bethesda Softworks and ZeniMax Online Studios. This page seeks to archive important information for each official sweepstakes, especially their prizes and dates.
The Elder Scrolls Travels Sweepstakes[edit]
Between July and September 2003, in promotion of The Elder Scrolls: Travels series, specifically Dawnstar and Stormhold, the official website, theelderscrollstravels.com, held a contest for fans to download either game to their J2ME/BREW enabled cellular phone, with 10 of the first 1,000 winning the prize.[1] The contest was ran twice, with the second version of the sweepstakes starting in December 2003 and having a different prize.[2][3]

The Elder Scrolls 10th Anniversary Giveaway[edit]

During the continued celebration of the 10th anniversary of the series, Bethesda held a sweepstakes offering a various prizes to fans who entered via the old elderscrolls.com website.[4] The giveaway would be open to submissions from 4 April 2004, until 30 April, 2004.

The Elder Scrolls 20th Anniversary Instagram Giveaway Contest[edit]
On 28 March 2014, an article detailing a give-away which would last until 2 April, 2014, was posted to the BethBlog celebrating the 20th Anniversary of The Elder Scrolls. Three winners would be chosen from contestants who posted about the 20th anniversary of the series on Instagram to receive an autographed copy of the then-new The Elder Scrolls Anthology.[5]
