Galarynn

Galarynn, an Imperial sorcerer, is a budding mage who is hoping to be accepted into the Bruma Synod Conclave.

After waking up at 8am and enjoying a short breakfast, at 9am Galarynn will head outside and spend the next five hours perusing the stalls at the market. At 2pm, she heads to the Cathedral of St. Martin and will pray there until 5pm, when she heads over to Ice-Wind Traders for a chat with owner Cedus Perusius. At 8pm, she makes a call to The Restful Watchman for some food and drink, returning home at midnight and heading straight to bed.

Galarynn tries to look the part, wearing blue robes, gloves and mage boots. She also carries the key to her house, three leveled Restore Magicka potions, five leveled common ingredients, a random ring and a random selection of gold, lockpicks, gems, jewelry, food and drink. In addition to being armed with an iron mace, Galaryn is also able to cast the spells Flames, Frostbite, Fury, Healing and Ice Spike.

Dialogue

When first speaking to her, she will cheerfully greet you:

"I'm Galarynn, Synod hopeful. If you have any cuts or bruises, I'd be happy to practice my restoration on you."

"The cold nips up here in the mountains, but I've always loved how refreshing it is."

If you ask whether she is a mage, she confirms:

"Yes, I am. I'm hoping to join the Synod Conclave here in Bruma."

Ask what she specializes in and she will explain:

"Restoration, mostly, but I also enjoy alchemy and alteration. Not so big on destruction. I like preserving life, not taking it."

Ask how she ended up in Bruma and she will tell you:

"Oh, I was born in Bruma. I travelled around Cyrodiil and lived for a few years in Chorrol, but the mountains and the cold air always called to me. My parents used to say there must have been some Nord blood in our family for me to love the snow so much. There probably isn't, of course. My parents were from High Rock. That's about as Breton as it gets. ...Too bad they aren't here to see me make the Synod. I think they would have been proud."

Inquire further into her parent's fate and she says:

"They died a while back. Papa got sick, so Mama went out adventuring to try and raise money for a healer. Mama never made it back, so Papa never got his healing. I'm not broken up about it anymore--it happened several years ago now--but I do still miss the feeling of family, of being loved, you know? In any case, being a mage of the Synod will help with that. That'll be my place to belong."
