Welcome[edit]
Hello! Welcome to UESPWiki. It's always good to have new members. If you would like to help improve any of our pages, you may want to take a look at the following links:
- Policies and Guidelines: UESPWiki standards and expectations
- Quick Editing Guide: a quick guide to wiki markup
- Getting Started: how you can help
When you're editing, it's always a good idea to leave edit summaries to explain the changes you have made to a particular page, and remember to sign your talk page posts with four tildes ~~~~. Also, the "show preview" button is a great way to view the changes you've made so far without actually saving the page (our Patrollers really appreciate it!).
Feel free to practice editing in the sandbox and don't hesitate to contact one of our mentors if you need any help. Have fun! --Elliot talk 23:37, 29 July 2009 (UTC)

Word of Advice[edit]
Hi there. It looks like you've had fun editing the site but please can I ask that you use the "Show preview" button when making changes? At the moment you're making dozens of consecutive edits to pages, each of which must be patrolled. It would make life much easier for those of us who do the job if you could preview your edits first. Thanks. --Tabloes 00:40, 30 July 2009 (UTC)
- Thanks... I'm aware of the preview feature, and do make use of it. I haven't been making "dozens of consecutive edits" to anything though... the most I've made is two, to my user page. Unless somehow my previews are getting registered as edits somewhere that someone else can view them (which would greatly shock me). --Mirai22 00:55, 30 July 2009 (UTC)
Image Craziness[edit]
Speaking of things going wrong though... I've tried to upload a batch of images. I thought they all uploaded properly, but now on my user page, I can either have it load and show all but three of the ones I uploaded... or load only those three. When going to view any imge's specific page, it may or may not show me the image. But when I go to upload again (say, if it says the image doesn't exist on the server), it then warns me that the image already exists on the server. Can others see all thirteen of my new images on my user page? Is this some weird caching thing? Or that images need approval before they really show up? *confused* --Mirai22 01:12, 30 July 2009 (UTC)
