Welcome![edit]
Hiya Lanjane! Welcome to UESPWiki. It's great when we get new members. Just thought I'd send you a welcome with some helpful info. Check out the following links:
- Policies and Guidelines: UESPWiki standards and expectations
- Help Contents: a list of in-depth Help pages
- Quick Editing Guide: a quick guide to wiki markup
- Getting Started: how you can help
If you would like to spice up your userpage, take a look at the Userboxes page: a near complete list of userboxes, including a guide to making your own.
When you're editing, it's always a good idea to leave edit summaries to explain the changes you have made to a particular page, and remember to sign your talk page posts with four tildes ~~~~ (do not sign edits to articles). Also, the "show preview" button is a great way to view the changes you've made so far without actually saving the page (patrollers really appreciate it!).
Feel free to practice editing in the sandbox or discuss the games in the forums. If you need any help, don't hesitate to contact one of our mentors. Have fun!

Minor edits[edit]
Hey! Thank you for your contributions, they are awesome. However, please remember to mark your edits as "minor" only if they truly are minor edits. In accordance with our policy on Minor edits, a minor edit is one that the editor believes requires no review and could never be the subject of a dispute. Minor edits consist of things such as typographical corrections, formatting changes or rearrangement of text without modification of content. Additionally, the reversion of clear-cut vandalism and test edits may be labeled "minor". While your edits are awesome, adding an entire, fairly length note, to an article is not considered a minor edit. :) Thanks again for your edits!!! Jeancey (talk) 20:24, 20 March 2013 (GMT)
Essential NPCs[edit]
You made an edit to the article on Arenim Ancestral Tomb in which you detailed a shirt that that was otherwise unobtainable because the others are on essential NPCs.
In Morrowind, you can kill the essential NPCs. So long as you don't kill the last dwarf, you can even still win without cheats or mods. All the essential tag does in Morrowind is give you a popup that offers a choice, reload a saved game or "persist in the doomed world" I forget all its exact words. I invite you to check this out for yourself to confirm my claim here.
I didn't want to make an account just to point this out.
Thank you for reading this; please feel very free to delete it either when you edit your edit or when you decide not to edit it. I shall take that as, "I've done everything I intend to do about this." — Unsigned comment by 75.72.169.18 (talk) at 02:01 on 8 March 2021
- Thanks for the tip, yes I know you can kill the essential NPCs in Morrowind. I didn't mean that the other shirts are unobtainable, I only meant that they are unobtainable in a peaceful way. Added the word "peacefully" to make it more clear. - Lanjane
