User talk:Jamz slack
Welcome![edit]
Hello! Welcome to UESPWiki. It's always good to have new members. If you would like to help improve any of our pages, you may want to take a look at the following links:
- Policies and Guidelines: UESPWiki standards and expectations
- Quick Editing Guide: a quick guide to wiki markup
- Getting Started: how you can help
If you, on the other hand, would like to spice up your userpage, take a look at this link:
- Userboxes: near complete list of userboxes, including a guide to make your own
When you're editing, it's always a good idea to leave edit summaries to explain the changes you have made to a particular page, and remember to sign your talk page posts with four tildes ~~~~. Also, the "show preview" button is a great way to view the changes you've made so far without actually saving the page (our patrollers really appreciate it!).
Feel free to practice editing in the sandbox and don't hesitate to contact one of our mentors if you need any help. Have fun! ~ Dwarfmp 00:53, 17 December 2010 (UTC)
Arena[edit]
Everything people know about Arena is already on the site. Spamming the same question in more than one place is going to get really annoying really quickly. Why not ask on the relevant official forum instead? rpeh •T•C•E• 08:21, 9 April 2011 (UTC)
UESPWiki is not a forum[edit]
Your frequent questions on Skyrim talk:Skyrim have urged me to remind you that the UESPWiki is not a forum, though we do have a forum where this kind of thing is appropriate. Please register at the UESP Forums if you have yet to do so. Also, I'd like to remind you that your edits to that page have been somewhat disruptive, they are especially annoying since they have either already been answered, or couldn't be answered without us playing the game. For example:
here you asked us if the game would be a MMO, if it was that would of likely been one of the first things learned about it, and if it was true we would have made note of it if we knew. Therefore, your post was speculation. Since you may have not noticed it yet, I'll draw your attention to the message at the top of the page; "The wiki is reserved for verifiable facts only, and this talk page should only be used to discuss the contents of the article itself.Nearly all discussion of the unreleased game should be held on the forums. Please keep all speculation, wishlists, etc. restricted to the forums. Any content of this sort will be removed promptly."
here and here you decided to ask a question about how awesome it would of been if this game was an MMO. Meaning it belonged on the forums.
here you asked about online play once again, despite the fact that if you had looked at the front page you would of found the only developer statement on this topic; "So certainly we could do multiplayer"... "what we end up with is unpalatable. It'd make a lesser version of the game. And there is no doubt on the dev side that that is the case." Once again.
Finally, here you asked us a question that essentially boiled down too if we knew if there was going to be a climbing skill. Once again, if we knew we would tell you, we aren't withholding information for the fun of it.
Please post these sort of questions on the UESP forums, they'd love to have you if you aren't already a member. If you are already a member please go to the dedicated Skyrim Forum and discuss the game there. We can not help you, we know no more about the game then what has been released by the developers so we don't have any extra information about the game then anyone else. --AKB Talk Cont Mail 16:41, 7 May 2011 (UTC)
