Evil4Zerg, Is there any chance I could get the spreadsheet you used to make Media:Skyrim_armor_and_durability.png? I am RedKnight7 on forums.bethsoft, if you want to send a PM. (Is there a way to send a PM on this wiki?) Thx! -RedKnight 04:59, 3 December 2011 (UTC)
Movement Rates[edit]
Can you explain how you came up with the figures for your recent edits to Movement. Someone needs to verify the before patrolling them, so if I know how you did it, it'll be a lot easier. Also, how did you convert the raw units to yards? I'm thinking the "yards" columns should be removed, as there's really very little way of judging a yard (or raw units, for that matter) in-game, so we should probably just stick with the raw units. Thanks! – Robin Hood↝talk 08:14, 25 March 2012 (UTC)
- Movement Types are listed in the Creation Kit under Object Window -> Character. My brief testing seems to show that the ones with "NPC" in their name affect the player as well, while the numbers in Game Settings don't seem to affect anything (perhaps they are a holdover from earlier games?). As for the raw units to yards conversion, it has always been 64 units to a yard[1][2]. --Evil4Zerggin 05:19, 26 March 2012 (UTC)

- Great, thanks for the info. Just one question: how did you decide between using Horse_Default_MT and NPC_Horse_MT? – Robin Hood↝talk 08:09, 26 March 2012 (UTC)

- Since you can sprint and swim while on a horse, I assumed it was the Horse_X_MTs and not the NPC_Horse_MT, which has only the one movement type. Granted, I haven't tested it explicitly. --Evil4Zerggin 02:01, 27 March 2012 (UTC)

- Okay, that's more or less what I was figuring too. At some point, we'll have to put some more testing into it, but I think it's a reasonable assumption for now. – Robin Hood↝talk 02:26, 27 March 2012 (UTC)
