comment[edit]

hi auri!you said that you wanted comments and i will give you one!i thought it was really good but there's one problem at one part one of the guys says"not a chance in hell"there's one problem hell dosn't exzist in thamreal just oblivion so you should probly change that!--GUM!!! 17:05, 28 March 2010 (UTC)

Oh, good point! Thanks for pointing that out I would have never realized that on my own. Glad to see you like the story, too. Auri-El

Actually Dagons plane of oblivion is synonymous with Hell and is used interchangeably in-game.--Corevette789 18:49, 28 March 2010 (UTC)
Afternote: Hell by my terms, (where you go if you are "bad") is something entirely different and is, most likely, NOT Dagons Realm.--Corevette789 20:49, 28 March 2010 (UTC)

i guess but oblivion sounds better in my terms--GUM!!! 21:30, 28 March 2010 (UTC)

I'd actually say Sithis's Void is hell and Lore:Aetherius is heaven.--Arch-Mage MattTalk 21:32, 28 March 2010 (UTC)
Well souls do not actually stay in sovengarde.--Corevette789 21:35, 28 March 2010 (UTC)
But is where the Aedric gods dwell. In Greece and Rome, where most of Oblivion is based on, where the gods lived would be the closest thing to heaven because everyone went to the underowrld when they died.--Arch-Mage MattTalk 21:37, 28 March 2010 (UTC)

That actually isn't proven they also may be bound to Dawns' Beauty and that may be why the Gods ripped Lorkhan asunder.--Corevette789 21:40, 28 March 2010 (UTC)

yeah mabye but i'm just going to say that we could talkabout this for ages so mabye we should move this somewhere else?because some people don't lik other people cloging up there talk page--GUM!!! 21:43, 28 March 2010 (UTC)

Interesting to see exactly what GUM!!!'s comment brought out of everyone else, though I'd have to say that Mehrunes Dagon's realm is indeed NOT where evil spirits go -- that is not the sphere of the Prince of Destruction -- and although Sithis's realm may be, from what I understand, only ritualistically murdered souls are sent to him -- and he is a primordial being, the equivalent of the primordial "titaness" Chaos, so therefore the underworld is not within his sphere of control. So the idea of the resting place of those who have been "bad" is never defined, though it may be quessed at. Honestly, though, I didn't mean to use Oblivion as a synonym for hell. It was just a common battle cry in the game so I figured I'd use it. But like I said, interesting to see what you come up with on this topic. Also, in response to Arch-Mage Matt, the Elder Scrolls series are based VERY heavily on the Lord of the Rings (mostly things found in The Silmarillion. Auri-El Reborn 19:50, 29 March 2010 (UTC)
