I'm brand new to Elder Scrolls/Oblivion (January 2009), and brand mostly new to RPGs in general. I'd never be mistaken for a serious gamer, though I have recently played a lot of Call Of Duty (4 and World At War) on XBox Live. Other than that, I've been a Nintendo-fan for many, many years.
I say "mostly" new to RPGs because I have played (and enjoyed) some of the Mario franchise RPGs (Paper Mario, Mario & Luigi Superstar Saga, etc.) Hey, you get XP, you do quests, you level up. It still counts!
Things I've learned.[edit]
- Respawning takes place every 72 hours,
and happens at midnight.
- An article about Punching Horses is probably not appropriate.
- My user page is "not crap."
- I hate Painted Trolls.
- The Chapel Guard is hot with no Chainmail on.
- Slaughterfish are a pain in the ass to hunt at night.
- A red number in your Attributes list is a bad thing.
- Three West Weald Bears are harder to kill than one.
- It is possible to get "The Cliff Racer Song" stuck in your head.
- Otumeel is my BFF.
- Why Khajiit lick their butts.
- Playing Animal Crossing just doesn't feel the same anymore.
- Buzz. Buzz. Buzz.
- There are some quests you should do first.
- Luck matters. Personality, not so much.
- Shooting deer in the ass with fire is FUN!
- After 70+ hours of gameplay, I still suck, so I'm going to start again with some focus on Efficient Leveling
- They say that when you murder someone, the Dark Brotherhood comes to you in your sleep. It's how they recruit new members.

This section added just so I can get a Table Of Contents[edit]
I don't have an idea for a new section yet, so I'm just going to put this here so I can have a pretty Table Of Contents.
