I am Canadian, in my late 50's, and have been video gaming since Pong. My health is poor and I do not work full-time, so since I don't bother with television (can't stand commercials), I have quite a bit of time for Skyrim and related games (Fallout 3, Fallout: New Vegas, and Oblivion in particular). I have spent over 3000 hours in Skyrim to date, and it hasn't gotten boring yet, even though I use mods very lightly (a few texture mods and the one that adds bookstores are about the only ones I have running at present).

I also write fanfic for Skyrim and a number of other games that appears on fanfiction.net under the name I use here, robinwitch1. I would warn the curious that some of my writing is difficult to comprehend unless the reader has in-depth knowledge of the game in question. This is particularly true of the long story "I Take You With Me," set in the Skyrim universe fifty or so years after the end of the game. This is probably my favorite, but the side references the characters make have a very wide scope and can easily be confusing to outsiders.
