  • Mind-Bending Mist - about every 45s Allene hides and summons 3 Fiendish Hallucinations.

  • Freezing Stomp - yep, stomp. Somewhat large aoe after some charge time around the boss.
  • Arctic Awakening - boss puts one arm into the ground, and 7 ground aoes, one by one, target player(s). Also, each of them spawns an Ice Skeleton.
Razor Master Erthas a1
  • Quick Shot - just a basic light attack. dodgeable, nothing special (until it oneshots in arc5 if not blocked, or something like that haha. Anyway)
  • Burning Embers - homing flame projectile, puts flame dot on you if it hits, can be dodged.
  • Lava Pitch - thrown projectile that causes four flames spread from impact point in a X pattern.
  • Bombard - flaming rain of arrows. 13 hits in a sizable area centered on player position at the cast time.
  • Summon Flame Atronach - one flame atro spawned at about 75% boss health. I guess he doesn't do it on timer unlike his CoA1 variant.

  • Slash - basic slash.
  • Agonizing Strike - roughly once in 15s she calls lightning at a player's current location. That spot will shoot slow lightning projectiles in random directions for about a minute.
  • Shock Aura - charged aoe blast, seems to be sometimes used when she has someone in melee range.

  • Swipe - basic light attack.
  • Slaughter - charged double swipe. Hits harder, i guess.
  • Primal Fury - boss runs on all fours at someone, knocks back if hits (or not?)
  • Blood Rage - boss charges up and screams, knocking back right after charging. Unlike dungeon variant, doesn't seem to apply debuffs to players. Knockback is sort of heavy, can push off the platform.
  • Fracture - big slam on the ground. If no one gets hit in its aoe, it fractures the ground, the fissure will shoot double "projectiles" in a V pattern, also rotating CCW, for some time, or so it seems.
Garron the Returned 1,294,357 (a2c2)
Grothdarr a1
  • Bludgeon - basic slap
  • Torch Bludgeon - wide arc charged slap, puts some fire dot on you
  • Fire Bombardment - fire shots of flame to the sky over some 8s or so, each aims at player position at the moment of its launch. They leave medium-size flame aoes on the ground that last for like 20 sec (checking logs...)
  • Firestarter - similar to Vaults mech. Casted at ~85% hp, Grothdarr puts some moving flames on the ground. But here it's two circles of 4 flames, rotating clockwise (along outer edge and a bit closer to the middle) and pool of lava in the middle of arena (yay extra content). Flames don't follow players but all of this lasts until the end.

  • Shadow Rage - ehh Gold Coast version does enrage but here i didn't see any effect in one cast, boss doesn't even glow red. More science.
  • Rock Fall - boss slams ground thrice, causing long chain of falling rocks.
Ri'Atahrashi 1,294,357 (a2c2)
  • Thrust Hand Strike - basic light attack, i guess
  • Burning Hand Strike - roundhouse kick? i mean, from name it sounds wrong, but nothing else really fits, and he does that quite a few times, so...
  • Dancing Flame Strike - Ri summons streams of flame, that will send waves of fire, slowly rotating CCW, for about a minute
  • Elemental Kata - series of four 3/4-circle large aoe explosions, stand in empty quarter to take no damage (duh), out-ranging it seems to cause fireballs to shoot on each "hit".
  • Bombardment - ??? - from damage taken log, i'd assume it's fireballs from kata but just one instance at the wrong time.
  • Flame Surge - ??? - from casts log, idk what's that

  • Frigid Swing - basic slap
  • Chilling Blast - big swing that sends five small aoes in a wide arc from boss.
  • Arctic Annihilation - big charged slam. Kills atronachs, sends either five aoes spread over 360° from its center, or one directly away from boss. Seems to be five when nothing gets hit by the slam, one when there is any hit, be it player or atro. Idk needs more testing. Could be just five aoes merged into one, hard to tell.
  • Glacial Rage - boss enrages for a short period of time. Stuff he does damages more while he's enraged (glows red), it's a lot shorter than in Icereach, though (about 10s). Also doesn't seem to have "takes double damage" effect to it. Voicelines - same as in Icereach i guess.
  • Bitter Winds - hurricanes that start appearing after 75% boss hp and slowly follow one of players.
  • Frost Atronachs - spawn on timer, slowly form from ice crystals. Can be smashed by boss' big slam (Arctic Anni). Needs further testing on whether or not they can be oneshotted in "alive" form. Crystals defo get oneshotted. I've got one fully formed, moving atro oneshotted by enraged boss.

Varzunon a1
  • Slash - basic slap
  • Stomp - well, stomp with some wind-up, deals damage and knocks back in a small radius, also sends three waves in a T pattern (like he does on hardmode in Graven Deep), that create chains of persistent aoes (they last about as long as to overlap with next Stomp a bit)
  • Summon Skeletons - boss summons a bunch of small skellies to arena, and also one glowing skeleton from one of four bone piles along the ege of platform. If the glowy allowed to jump at the boss, he grows, and gets buffed (makes him somewhat stronger) and healed.
    • Ok number of stages seems to be 6. After that, glowies do nothing at all, no heals no nothing
  • Clash of Bones - big charged slam (i guess?). Can be dodged, does some medium to heavy damage depending on how huge Varzunon has grown.
  • Necrotic Rain - "rain" hitting each player some 5-6 times

  • Void Strike - some basic slap?
  • Lunar Smash - slam on a platform, turning it blue. Haven't tested what kinda damage it does, so probably "ouch".
  • Void Orb - ???
  • Void Barrage - Brrrt (i guess from the name), not as deadly (in arc2) as in MoL, can survive it without yellow platform buffs. Higher arcs - maybe you can't, haha.
  • Darkness Falls - rain of stuff that you need to move to avoid?
  • Void Bolt - ???
  • Dark Affliction - ??? maybe that sort of nasty dot (gets cleansed on yellow pads?)
  • Threshing Wings - big wing slap with heavy knockback? looks like single target variant of some slam from MoL that k/bs everyone. Gotta check ability names from MoL, yeah.
  • Annihilation Sphere - big boom after all 4 pads turn blue. Boss ports to the middle an charges blue orb that explodes and does very heavy knockback. No pad + add burn shenanigans, just don't stand too far from the center to avoid AAAaaaaaaaaa...splat situation.
  • Void Slash - ???

not designated: small orbs that don't follow players unlike in MoL but rotate around big middle pad, there appear more of them over time (one after each pad turned blue?); some random shots and slaps.

The Mage 1,215,111 (a1c4)
The Serpent a1
  • Strike - basic light attack
  • Celestial Strike - charged heavy. Does about 10k in arc1 unblocked (vs 14k resistance), so i guess it quickly becomes oneshot if unblocked / not dodged
  • Celestial Spray - sword swing that does some poison? damage in a wide cone. Doesn't seem to have any dots associated.
  • Poison Mist - arena-wide poison phase, some 5-10s of a poison dot. Also spawns a Lamia Howler or a Mantikora (Lamia first, changes every time). Immediately followed by Repulse.
  • Repulse - big blast, Serpent kneels, looks up, and a copy of him flies out. Also, a few pink crystals drop onto the floor. Players have to pick one before Serpent pulls his spectral copy back and explodes (about 13s later), oneshotting all who didn't pick shiny.
  • Empower Totems - spawn on timer, giving some boosts to Serpent. Needs more science to test effects -> protection from damage (seems to linger a little after totem is down, or i have derps).

  • Dual Strike - charged heavy. Block/dodge, probably not a sure oneshot in arc2. :D
  • Waterspout - Hilkarax charges up and sends a "water" meduim-size aoe in a straight line from him.
  • Wind Wall - Hilkarax summons several "wind" (lightning damage?) aoes circling around his position at different radii. This stuff persists for a long time, probably until Hilkarax is defeated, or at least long enough to have two sets of that casted and be active at once.

progression seems to be

   HP(n) = 2,273,381 * (n + 1) / 2 = HP(n - 1) * (n + 1) / n

so arc 7 dragon is supposedly 6,820,143 or something like that (5.68M * 6 / 5). "n" refers to a HP value number in progression, not arc

arc 4 dragon already starts from HP(2), mantikora starts increasing from arc 5, atro - from arc 6, no idea if "basic" Tho'at gets more health in arc 7, it would fit, but we called it quits mid-arc7

When you arrive in her location, Master Malkhest will summon her using the nymic fragments. A stained-glass window will appear in the air and Tho'at Replicanum will emerge out of it, and may say one of the following:

Defeating the group:

   Tho'at Replicanum: "Your blood will turn to ink. We will be the same, reflection."

Stuff she does. Herself:

  • Cascade - light attack with hands. Leaves damaging aoe (Furtive Shards?) on the ground on each swing.
  • Shattering Mirror - Tho'at hides under a bubble with three mirrors rotating around. Hitting her during this mech extends its duration and summons floating tomeshells (Mirror Shard?) that hurl themselves at players, causing moderate damage each (can be dodged) after mirror phase ends.
  • Manifest Blade - Tho'at summons her sword.
  • Cleave - attack with the sword. Same as with hands' attack, leaves damaging aoe on the ground on each swing. Higher damage, lower speed compared to Cascade.
  • Pierce the Veil - Tho'at discards her sword, throws it somewhere, at that spot a Glass Eye appears and channels damaging beam at the ground, which slowly follows players.
  • Tho'at Shard (blobs) seem to spawn after mirror phase / tossing the sword.
    • Quill Blast - ? from damage taken in logs
    • Seeking Spheres - ? from damage taken in logs
    • something of these is interruptible channel.
  • Arc 2+ Refracted Summoning - Tho'at flails her arms lol, walls around arena crumble, and atro Tho'at Shard appears. Happens at about 60% hp

Tho'at Shard (Atronach):

  • teleports around the arena
  • Pane Bound - teleport? also summons small tentacles on start or end, judging from logs. Spawns several packs of 3 Glass Tendril. And seems to summon Tho'at Shard blobs.
  • Glass Tendril - Stomp to summon some tentacles. See above + two Glass Leviathans, i guess. Blobs, too? this is a big mess, na easy to unravel log replays *shrugs*
  • Glass Tendril (tentacle) - small tentacles that swing at player that's close enough (Glittering Scrape). They live for some time and then fall apart, i think?
  • Glass Leviathan - big tentacles it spawns. Also swings at players, same name, but range and damage is a lot bigger. These defo live for some time and then, if not killed by players, summons a Glass Eye on death if there isn't one already (conjecture but it is what it seems to be)

Gw the Pilferer's hp table that's easier to look at[edit]

some big jumps between arcs, smaller steps between cycles, doesn't seem to be smooth curve? also always ends with 64 hurr hurr.

thoughts:

  • hp values / scaling are the same for all cycle bosses? But some numbers did seem off. Maybe. Maybe it's just cycle scaling being reset at the arc's beginning. Not that i read all the recorded numbers through while parsing logs, i'm just copying data mostly.
  • each boss is bound to one specific cycle?
  • marauders use cycle4 values regardless of which cycle they spawn in? some numbers on higher arcs seem off: 3.6M (a4) -> 4.2M (a5) -????-> 6.7M (a6) -> 7.6M (a7)? maybe arc6 is just schmucky wucky, pff, gotta do aggregate aXcX hp table.

Verses / Visions value sad math attempt[edit]

All arc-cycle-stage listed at the moment of getting the thing, not upcoming stage that it acts on, for clarity. It's iffy tho, from observations. Reading vision stats in 113 (not sure if different between vision picker and when already taken?) and on entering 121 shows different numbers, clearing 121 and staying there shows the same stats as on entering 122. Verses seem to show the same in picker, on taking it and on entering next stage. Go figure lol
