Having completed Witcher 3 I began looking for another open-world RPG; Skyrim had a great reputation and I gave it a try. I was immediately hooked and played it through over the next couple of years (I'm whatever the opposite of a "speed run" gamer is!) Much of that time was spent in the in-game books--the depth and breadth and quality of the lore in the game really impressed me. UESP has been a terrific resource with Skyrim and now with ESO. Having a reality check on what-am-I-missing vs. this-interaction-is-buggy; that alone has been invaluable to me!

While I certainly played some text-based role-oriented games on mainframe and BBS back in the day, my graphical RPG experience kicked off with Twighlight Princess on the Wii, followed eventually by BOTW and TOTK on Switch. Few shooters and puzzles mixed in there as well.

Still lots to learn, particularly with the MMO concept, and as I play through ESO I'm making an effort to give back a little bit. Have so far been focused on providing checks for quest pages here on UESP and look forward to adding some screenshots eventually. I play via Steam on a Mac with a vanilla build.
