Template talk:Lore Bestiary
Suggestions[edit]
1. You should make clear that you're talking bout Oblivion right now.. This is the Tamriel Section, it should contain general data, I think.
2. Not a good style of writing. This section needs a total makeover...
3. Missing : Ogres, Trolls, Slaughterfish, Goblins, Lions, Dogs, Wulfs, Bears, Horses, Cliffracer, Alits, Hellhounds, (insert more here, forgot the most, probably)
PS: If you ever played Morrowind, you'll agree, that the CLIFFRACERS are the most annoying creatures ever in Elder Scrolls.
- I think a more general question that needs to be addressed is what exactly is supposed to be on this page. In general, pages in the Tamriel section should contain general information that is common to multiple Elder Scrolls games, or that would be of interest even if you are not playing the specific game. It's not clear to me what can be said about any of the game creatures that falls into that category. My impression is that most of the creatures have been different from one game to the next. Those that do appear in multiple games can have very different appearances, and different combat styles. So it is not obvious to me what meaningfully be provided on this page other than a list of links to individual game creature listings... and then is it worth having this page? --Nephele 13:02, 18 September 2006 (EDT)
Raw List[edit]
Just threw together a raw list of all creatures from all games to put on this page. A few caveats: I have only played Morrowind (with Tribunal and Bloodmoon) and Oblivion. I took the other lists from the pages on this site, and have only that to attest to their accuracy. I also opted not to include unique or quest-specific variants of the creatures in most cases. Also, I may have missed a few in Tribunal and Bloodmoon, as there's no bestiary pages for those at this time. I don't know anything about the mobile games, so they're not included. If somebody wants to add them, be my guest. Also, not sure what to do about creatures that exist in multiple games but with a different name (e.g. Fire Atronach/Fire Daedra/Flame Atronach). Some creatures also became non-creatures later on, most notably Orcs, but also Dremora are now NPCs rather than creatures in Oblivion. (Granted they're always hostile, but they are NPCs.) Also, some of the "creatures" from Redguard seem to be humans, but I left them in anyhow, just in case. As well, not sure what to do with creatures that have many similar variants, like Goblins or Skeletons. It's all there for now, do with it what you will. Oh, and creatures which exist in Tribunal or Bloodmoon but also existed in Morrowind just have "MW" listed. Only creatures that are new to those expansions and not found in Morrowind without them use the "TR" and "BM" listings. --TheRealLurlock 15:08, 19 September 2006 (EDT)

Veminous Fabricant[edit]
The section on Veminous Fabricants says:
Veminous Fabricant: A rare construct created by Sotha Sil. Resistant to paralysis and shock and is weak to shock damage. It's components can be used in Alchemy to produce potent speed potions.
It says it resists shock, but then says it is weak to shock. Perhaps someone could find out what is right about Veminous Fabricants?
