BASEPAGENAME vs. titleparts

BASEPAGENAME seems to work as expected by this template only if the namespace in question has the subpage feature turned on. This doesn't seem to be the case for Oblivion_talk and I think this is why the footer at Oblivion_talk:Easter_Eggs/Archive_2 is a redlink. --Alfwyn 16:28, 11 January 2012 (UTC)

Hmmm...good catch. Unfortunately, titleparts failed when it wasn't a first-level subpage (as would be the case for Tamriel Rebuilt space, and perhaps in rare other cases). Let me think about it for a bit and see if I can come up with something that'll work universally. Neph's extension might also offer something here. – Robin Hood↝talk 20:26, 11 January 2012 (UTC)

It looks like {{#titleparts:{{FULLPAGENAME}}|-1}} should work. I'll put that in place and check around to see if it causes any problems anywhere. Let me know if you see anything as well. – Robin Hood↝talk 20:34, 11 January 2012 (UTC)

Looks like that's got it. It works at Project:Administrator Noticeboard/Archive 22, Oblivion talk:Easter Eggs/Archive 2, and at Oblivion Mod:Cobl/Projects/Archive 1 (if you add it there). – Robin Hood↝talk 20:44, 11 January 2012 (UTC)
