Can't Find

Can't find the quest destinations.

You are told to go to the Shrine of Hindsight, and that Tedril Draren is hiding in a cave near the Shrine. Starting directions given will point you to the Kodasha Egg Mine. I've found that, but then with the subsequent directions givenfrom there to the cave and the Shrine, I'm unable to find either so far. Has anyone had any success yet? I'm even "lawnmowering" the area with levitation, but still no luck. I don't know if the cave has a specific name either, as so far it's ref'd in the game as "the cave" and nothing more specific. I also get the impression that the Shrine is an outdoor location.

OK, brief "directions" spoiler, I guess, just in case.....

I dd a lookup for the Shrine of Hindsight & found s tiny screenie online at a walkthrough site and only then found it. The cave is not a different gamespace, I'd call it more of a grotto instead, and there's no map icon for either the cave or shrine. Anyway, following the in-game instructions, as soon as you go west past the egg mine, the left you are to make comes up almost right away, like maybe 30-40 paces, as soon as you come to a pool of water. The "climable hillside" is more like a "grassy knoll" several steps up & down again almost right away. Follow this direction through a bit of narrow & winding areas, acrosss at least 1 tiny pool & you'll come to the target. To continue forward then, hug the right side of the "cave" and follow a path upward, to get to the shrine. Directions say to follow the ladder to get to the shrine, but actually you don't get to the ladder until you're at the shrine. Then you can use the ladder to continue on, leaving the shrine area.

It could be worth noting that once you pass through that arch in the screenshot, if you have good jump or levitate potion, scroll or spell, you can simply go straight ahead across the ravine, and you will have the Shrine of Hindsight below you. Skips a fairly annoying portion of the trek.

Oh, ha. Yes, directions through the Mephalan Vales are near impossible to write clearly. I'm happy to add your shortcut to the article in a few hours unless you beat me to it. For questions re Tamriel Rebuilt gameplay generally, check out their Discord - it's a good spot to ask questions where the wiki doesn't have the answer. It's possible that the latest release has changed things slightly - I know the dev team were deleting rock arches in this area at one point. I'll check that later today.
