Tamriel Rebuilt:Weapon Artifacts

Tamriel Rebuilt adds a number of new Artifacts to the world of Morrowind. An Artifact is a unique and unusually powerful magical item. Artifacts are specifically defined as anything with a unique appearance. This is opposed to Unique items, which are defined as those which there is only one of, but which have the same appearance as other generic items. Some are rewards for quests, others may be found through exploration.

• Artifacts listed here (rather than solely in Tamriel_Data) are no longer in development and have been merged into playable versions of TR.

Notes

• Speed for weapons specifies how fast the weapon swings with higher values indicating a faster weapon.
• Ratio gives the damage per time for the weapon with higher values indicating a more powerful item.
• Charge/Cost = Uses indicates how many uses on average you can get before needing to recharge the weapon (or wait for it to charge on its own). Note that the Cost depends on your Enchant skill, so your results may vary.

Nerevar's Axe

Nerevar's Axe is a weapon once used by Nerevar himself. The name he gave it is unknown. It can be found on the southwestern side of the vault of Idaverrano, a sunken Dunmer stronghold found in the waters north of Sundered Scar.

Oathrung

Oathrung is a Dwarven staff used by a Telvanni magelord to assault the city of Firewatch, as detailed in Firewatch: A History. It is held within the vault of Firewatch's castle, Ember Keep, and is considered the city's crown jewel.

It may be used to unlock a secret chamber in the nearby ruin of Bthalag-Zturamz.

Staff of the Typos Sophia

A magical staff that made its first appearance in Battlespire, the Staff of the Typos Sophia's last known wielders were the Emperor's chief artificer, Clarentavious Valisious, and potentially the Apprentice who ultimately fought through the Battlespire citadel.

By the time of Morrowind, the staff has fallen into the hands of Lord Rathine Morgal, a Dremora found within Old Ebonheart's central sewers, opposite the entrance to Khalammu Grotto.

Sunkindler

Sunkindler is a crossbow that was likely used in the extermination of two separate vampire clans.

In Tamriel Rebuilt, it is carried by the killer of those clans, the infamous vampire hunter Darron Marceau. He can be found staying at The Grey Lodge on the border between the Armun Ashlands and Roth Roryn.

Sword of the Moon Reiver

The Sword of the Moon Reiver is a lethal blade wielded by Lord Methats Uldun. Methats is a powerful dremora found within his chambers in Vorthas Uldun, a Daedric fortress abutting onto the ruined city of Khalaan. The blade was created from the substance of Mehrunes Dagon, and was once used to rebut that Daedric Prince's invasion of the Battlespire.

The Sword of Taldeus is the weapon of a saint of the Imperial Cult named Taldys Orothri. It can be found within Orothri Ancestral Tomb in Dagon Urul, and is the target of the quest The Sword of Taldeus.

The Goujian is a mighty and very valuable sword located within the Entrenched Shipwreck, a ways northwest of the Sadas Plantation.

Anirwen in Gah Sadrith will ask you to retrieve the blade during his quest, Search for a Perfect Sword.

Claw of Nafaalilargus

The Claw of Nafaalilargus is a powerful artifact associated with the Imperial red dragon Nafaalilargus.

It is located in the top of the Imperial Legion Headquarters in Old Ebonheart, in the private quarters of Imperial Legion Lord General of Morrowind, Caecalia Victrix. This short sword is hidden along with the Scales of Nafaalilargus inside a secret stone safe accessed by a switch hidden behind a locked (Lv. 80) painting of Nafaalilargus.

Muatra

Muatra (sometimes known as Milk Taker) is the spear of the god, Vivec. It was formerly a netch longhook that has since been transformed. Muatra has reputedly been used to kill Vivec's own progeny, the N'chorbal of Vvardenfell, and (according to some accounts) Nerevar. See the Lore page for more details.

The spear can be found within the Undercroft of Necrom's Fane of the Ancestors.

Nandor's Spear

Nandor's Spear is a unique spear found within a chest in the Flooded Shipwreck - a wreckage on the seafloor southwest of Nivalis. The corpse of Nandor Beraid can be found on the deck above.
