Valgo Catius

Valgo Catius is an Imperial trader who can be found in Rolis Hlor's store in Indal-ruhn. He has been journeying along Veloth's Path with his companion, Falx Smitius. The two have stopped in Indal-ruhn following Falx's lapse into an intense depression - one Valgo blames on the curse of a Dark Elf priest the two encountered earlier along the road. Valgo will ask you to seek a cure for Falx, beginning the short quest A Will to Go On.

He wears an expensive shirt, an expensive leather hat, a pair of common pants, and a pair of expensive shoes. He wields an iron saber and carries 38 gold.

Aside from his natural charm and ability to absorb fatigue from others, he knows no spells.

"Falx is still in his depression, and by the Gods, I'm starting to think it's beginning to spread to me."

"Have you found a way to cure Falx's depression?"

"Falx looks cured of his depression! What magic did you use to manage that?"

"Falx seems as good as new, or at least close to his old bitter self. Now that his depression is cured, we can finally stop using up Rolis' patience and get out of Indal-ruhn."

"Falx has been losing the will to continue our journey along Veloth's Path to trade from town to town. He even lacks the will to quit -- he just can't make a firm decision. We have no choice but to stay here for now. I guess it started back in Hlan Oek after he had an argument with a Tribunal priest. That eccentric Dark Elf must've cursed him, that's for sure! I can't leave my friend alone here, but maybe you could help us?"

If you're skilled in arcane arts, you can try using restore magics instead. As for me, I need to stay here to make sure Falx is safe. Come back here when you've found a way to help him."
