Sehutu

Sehutu is the abode of the powerful enchanter, Master Bel-Betu.

The cave entrance is directly southwest of the old Dunmer stronghold of Volenfaryon, which has lately begun to suffer raids from undead hosts that spring from this cavern. The eldest Mabrigash of that stronghold will therefore commission you to destroy the wizard responsible, beginning the events of A Man in the Crystal.

The heart of the complex is protected by a magical labyrinth, with many doors that teleport you to other chambers, often looping you back to where you began. The aspiring apprentice, Vildaryn Terano, has tried and failed to penetrate the labyrinth, and can be found standing outside the cave. To navigate the labyrinth in the shortest possible time, always take the southernmost exit, beginning from the starting chamber, and continuing for two more doors, at which point you should have reached the Sanctum of Souls.

The Sanctum of Souls comprises Master Bel-Betu's quarters. It is guarded by a number of undead, and the Master himself. Beneath the Sanctum of Souls lies the Tabernacle, which can be either access with a high lockpicking skill or entered during the events of Master Bel-Betu's questline.
