Quick Walkthrough

Detailed Walkthrough

As a member of the Mages Guild, speak to Ethalvora on the lowest floor of Andothren's guild hall, and ask for duties. She will note that she is looking for a special book, On Daedric Design, by a former mage of the guild - Nelos Llothri. Ethalvora wants you to bring her a copy of the book, and suggests checking with the local booksellers.

Visit any bookseller, for example Elar Fandas in Andothren, and ask about the topic, On Daedric Design. You will be referred to Uleni Tenandus, at Tenandus' Rare Books, in the far away city of Necrom. This is your next stop, and is quite a hike - you may wish to use fast travel shortcuts. For example, Andothren's guild guide can teleport you to the guild hall in Akamora for a fee, from where you can take the silt strider to Necrom. The bookshop is in the Upper District, in the northeastern corner.
