Quick Walkthrough

1. Talk to Mudlap.
2. Retrieve the Mosslog from the Sadas Plantation.
3. Return to Mudlap.
4. Retrieve the Feather Spear from Llathros Edri in Port Telvannis.
5. Use the Mosslog and the Feather Spear to lead three mudcrabs to Mudlap.
6. (optional) Tell Vero Renim about Mudlap.
7. Wait three days.
8. Return to Mudlap.
9. Receive your reward.

10		I met a Wood Elf by the name of Mudlap who told me he was a powerful Telvanni wizard. He asked me to retrieve a magical artifact named the Mosslog for him. The Mosslog looks like a mossy log and can apparently be found in a pool of water on the Sadas plantation.
20		When I brought the Mosslog to Mudlap, he asked me to collect another item for him. I must go to Llathros Edri in Port Telvannis and somehow obtain the Feather Spear, which will lead me to the mightiest mudcrabs in the land.
25		I bought the Feather Spear from Llathros Edri, but he didn't seem to think it was a very powerful artifact.
30		I have brought the Feather Spear to Mudlap. I now must use it and the Mosslog to bring three of the strongest mudcrabs I can find to Mudlap for his army.
40		I have brought three mudcrabs to Mudlap using the Mosslog.
45		After bringing the mudcrabs to Mudlap, he told me to return in three days when he will conquer the Telvanni with his army.
50		I told a Telvanni guard about Mudlap's scheme, but he said he had never heard of a Telvanni wizard by that name. He told me to talk to Vero Renim in the Port Telvannis Council House if I wanted to report it.
60	Finishes quest	I told Vero Renim about Mudlap's plan, but he didn't seem particularly worried. He told me that Mudlap was not a wizard and had been rejected by the Telvanni because he was unable to cast a single spell. He seemed more irritated than concerned, but gave me 80 gold as a reward.
70		I should return to Mudlap within twenty four hours if I wish to join in his battle with the Telvanni.
80		When I returned, I found Mudlap being attacked by his mudcrabs.
90	Finishes quest	Mudlap was overwhelmed and killed by the mudcrabs. Clearly he was not a powerful Telvanni wizard after all.
100	Finishes quest	After I rescued Mudlap he admitted to not being a Telvanni wizard and gave me the Mosslog in thanks.
110	Finishes quest	I have missed my opportunity to join Mudlap in his attack on Port Telvannis.
120	Finishes quest	I declined Mudlap's offer to join him in battle against the Telvanni.
130	Finishes quest	I was told that a Wood Elf attempted to attack Port Telvannis with an army of mudcrabs. Apparently he escaped with an Imperial Sailor and is being pursued by the Telvanni. It would seem Mudlap's plan did not work out as he'd hoped..
140	Finishes quest	Mudlap will no longer talk to me because I killed one of his crabs.
150	Finishes quest	I have killed Mudlap.
