Quick Walkthrough[edit]

Talk to Goler Ralvayn in Hlan Oek's Council Club about house for sale.
Pay 1000 gold for the house.
Use the key on the house's front door.
(Optional) Return to the Council Club and look for Goler.
(Optional) Talk to Uradras Uvaren about house for sale with 70+ disposition.
Enter the house and speak to Estoril.

The following Journal ID and Index codes can be used with the Journal console command to manually update the quest to a certain point.

10		Goler Ralvayn, a Dunmer is the Hlan Oek Council Club, had a house for sale for a very low price. I paid it, and he gave me a key. He told me that the house is right next door to the Council Club.
20		I tried using the key on the front door of the house, but it didn't fit the lock.
30		When I returned to the Council Club, Goler Ralvayn wasn't there.
40		Uradras Uvaren, the publican of the Council Club, confirmed that I was scammed by Goler Ralvayn. However he said that the key must have something to do with the house, because he saw Goler pocketing it as he was leaving one time.
200		Goler Ralvayn isn't offering to sell me the house any more.
House for Sale (TR_m7_HO_HouseForSale_a)
60		When I entered the house, I heard someone scream.
65		When I entered one of the houses in Hlan Oek, I heard someone scream.
80		The key given to me by Goler Ralvayn turned out to be for a closet inside the house he sold me. Inside the closet I found an Altmer, crying for help.
85		After further inspection, I found an Altmer locked in a closet.
100	Finishes quest	The Altmer, Estoril, told me that Goler Ralvayn tricked her and locked her in the closet. It seems the house belongs to her, after all. As a reward for freeing her, she allowed me to take anything from her closet.
200	Finishes quest	I killed the Altmer I found locked inside the house.
