Gildaves Nerethi is a Dark Elf pauper who can be found in his cave dwelling in Ashamul. He helps maintain the garden and herd of guars for Ashamul, and occasionally fetches supplies from the larger towns nearby. He is also the cousin of Veros Nerethi, who works for Trels Varis, the writer of The Common Tongue newsletter in Mournhold.
He wears a common shirt and a pair of common pants. He wields a chitin dagger.
Aside from his natural resistance to fire and the sanctuary provided by his ancestors, he knows no spells.
Dialogue[edit]
- anonymous writer:
- "Really no idea. The writer is probably in Almalexia rather than in Ashamul, isn't he? You should ask my cousin Veros rather than me. I heard he moved to Mournhold."
- Background:
- "I'm %Name, a gardener. Now that there is a guard, I have much less work to do scaring away the kagouti that would graze my plants and devour our guars."
If you have helped Feduran Vandal get rid of the guard outside Ashamul:
- "I'm %Name, a gardener. Now that the guard's gone, I have to work harder scaring away the kagouti to keep them from grazing on my plants and devouring our guars."
- guar:
- "The guar is the noblest conquest mer ever made. Strong, stout and smart. Carries packs for you, fights for you, and can even be ridden like a horse! But unlike horses, their meat is awfully foul-tasting, while horses are delicious. Which proves the guar has been intended as a domesticated utility animal, while the horse has been intended as a delicacy."
- little advice:
- "Nevusa Lakasyn, the healer at Ranyon-ruhn, can teach you Tinur's Hoptoad and Strong Levitation, two very useful spells to travel through Boethiah's Spine."
- my trade:
- "I'm Ashamul's gardener. Usually, it's also me who goes to Ranyon-ruhn or Llothanis to buy the supplies our little community needs."
