Eorric the Knight is a Nord scout and Protector of the Fighters Guild who can be found guarding the door to the offices on the top floor of the East Empire Company headquarters in Old Ebonheart. He is a major trainer in Medium Armor, Long Blade, and Athletics.
During Art of the Deal, it is Eorric who Quilmaro sends to assist you with the five-thousand-drake ransom. Awaiting you outside of the cavern of Massanud, he will offer to assist you in clearing out the smugglers there. This allows you to travel together for a time.
For protection, Eorric wears a Nordic ringmail cuirass, an expensive Imperial cap, a set of Orcish greaves, a pair of steel boots, and a pair of Imperial silver bracers. For clothing, he wears an expensive shirt, a pair of common pants, and an Imperial skirt. He wields an Orcish claymore and carries 397 gold.
Aside from his natural resistance to shock, immunity to frost, ability to shield himself, and a natural frost damage spell, he knows no spells.

Dialogue[edit]
- my trade:
If you are a member of the East Empire Company:
- "I'm a scout, not a knight. My pa was the first "%Name", and he wasn't a knight either, but in the war, he shoved a sword through enough of them to earn the nickname, and since I look just like him, the name stuck to me. But I don't do anything that fun. I just make my living protecting merchants like you, from Falkreath to Firewatch. I guide travelers, I guard expeditions, and I know things. Ask me about Morrowind lore, the geography of Morrowind, or its various geographic regions. Or don't. Up to you."

- "Your boss, the elf, was very worried about your situation, and I'm a very capable scout, so he asked me to find this place in advance and keep you safe. Feel flattered. Now, I won't insult your abilities: if you think you can handle this thing yourself, that's fine by me. But if you want, we can travel together into this cave and show these bandits what's what."
If you did not already have the EEC Ransom Note:

- "Feel free to go in and scope out the place first. I imagine they'll kill the hostages as soon as they see us, so if you'd like, you can try freeing them first. If that route fails, you know where to find me. Or should we press on now?"
