If you have killed Dagoth Ur:
- "So, you're the Nerevarine everyone talks about? I must say it was impressive that you proved the Temple was wrong in their foolish and arrogant teachings. However, you may not be as tough as you look. I'm busy with experiments, so leave if you have nothing interesting to say."
If your Reputation is at least 50:

If you are an Imperial:
- "Imperials can't make potions."
- "Should I waste my breath on you?"
If Disposition is at least 30:

- Dagoth Ur:

† If you are a member of House Indoril:
- "All who belong to house Indoril are arrogant and snobbish dogs of the Temple, just like you." (Disposition down by 10)
- "I don't want to deal with them."
If you are a member of the Mages Guild:
- "I don't like your kind. Go away." (Disposition down by 10)
- necromancy:
- "The Temple says it's evil and illegal, but if you ask me, that makes it all the more delighting. They're probably too weak to handle those creatures, so they want to ban their summoning. At the same time, they worship their ancestors and have them guard Red Mountain. Hypocrites! Not even the Empire fears necromancy."
- Nerevarine:
If you have talked with Vivec but have not killed Dagoth Ur yet:
- "Shouldn't you try to defeat Dagoth Ur? Or do you admit that the Nerevarine is a new trick of the Temple to keep its members happy?"
If you have killed Dagoth Ur:
- "It seems that you have defeated the Devil and that you could do what the weaklings of the Temple could not." (Disposition up by 10, until it reaches 50)
- Talmeni Omothran:
- "She's my wife. She is loyal, has a good heart, and is also interested in magic. What more could a mer want? I will not let any harm come to her."
If Talmeni Omothran is dead:
- "You killed her! I have no words for you! Feel my wrath, n'wah!" Goodbye (He attacks you)
- Tel Mothrivra:
- "Tel Mothrivra was once a stronghold of the Temple built around the monastery. Over time they turned the town into one of the strongest fortresses in Morrowind. But they got careless and couldn't man it. The Akaviri captured the town during their invasion. After that, they let the fortress fall into decay and the town was inhabited only by a bunch of dithering old monks. They wisened up a few years ago and sold the town to me. The first thing the Temple ever did right."
- Temple:
- "The Temple is an institution contrived by the Tribunal Gods to control every Dunmer. They are so narrow-minded that they cannot tolerate any criticism on the Temple's doctrine. They want each member to be poor, faithful and just. Their continuous compassion for the poor is a sign of their weakness when it is genuine, and hypocrisy when it isn't."
If you are a member of the Tribunal Temple:
- "The Temple is an institution contrived by the Tribunal Gods to control every Dunmer, even you. You and your Temple companions are so narrow-minded that you cannot tolerate any criticism of the Temple's doctrine. They want you to be poor, faithful and just. Are you so mad that you accept this, or are you the upper hierarchy of your Temple? Your continuous compassion for the poor is a sign of your weakness if it is genuine, and hypocrisy if not. Leave me!" (Disposition down by 15)
If Disposition is less than 30, and you are a member of the Tribunal Temple OR House Indoril:
- "Get lost, Temple-loving idiot! If you touch me, you will die!" (Disposition down by 15)
- Temple's doctrine:
- "Their doctrine is based on the lies of the Tribunal. Anyone who openly disagrees the teachings of the Temple are their enemies and must be re-educated or killed. I have heard a rumor that someone is hiding in Firewatch to avoid the Temple's wrath. There is a rare and interesting book called 'Progress of Truth', written by the Dissident Priests. Did you know that they kill all the 'incarnates' of the Nerevarine Prophecy? Strange, if you suppose said prophecy is mere superstition."
If Disposition is at least 60, and you have killed Dagoth Ur:
- "Their doctrine is based on the lies of the Tribunal. You're the one who showed them on Vvardenfell that you are more powerful than Dagoth Ur; more powerful than Vivec himself. I've never thought that the Nerevarine Prophecy could be true, or that the Temple would accept such a prophecy." (Disposition up by 10)
- "He's the architect I hired. Despite a few errors in the beginning, he's a good architect. The vines are blocking or supporting where they are needed. He's almost finished with his work."
Regrowing a Tongue[edit]
- geewp eee:
- "The moron had the impudence to come here uninvited and would not stop babbling about the pain and torment that the Triune would subject me to if I did not repent my sacrilege and leave this tower. The tower the Temple had sold me in the first place! I've seen my share of messengers from Necrom; this one was more stupid than all of them together. His babbling was all the pain and torment I needed, so I cut his tongue; I doubt anyone but him is missing it."
Notes[edit]
- † This line of dialogue won't appear during normal gameplay, as House Indoril isn't a joinable faction yet.
