Adrieldan is an experienced High Elf savant, and a professor at the College of Firewatch, where he teaches the course Philosophies of Dark Elven Thought. He is willing to share some of his knowledge with you provided that you enroll in his course (costs 1500 gold), and is a major trainer in Mercantile, Speechcraft and Enchant. Marilus Arjus describes him as an adept guide to the myriad religious traditions of the East, although Tedyne Llarom would perhaps dispute such a claim.
He wears an expensive shirt with matching pants and shoes. He carries 38 gold, a copy of The Firsthold Revolt, a key to the College Library, and a key to his room in the College Faculty Residences.
Aside from his natural weaknesses to fire, frost, shock and magicka, his natural bonus to magicka, and resistance to disease, he knows no spells.
In his room in the Faculty Residences, there is a copy of The Lily of Dibella, an Amulet of Almsivi Intervention, and a Quality Fortify Personality potion on the bookshelf. On the desk, there is the only copy of The Distributed Soul to be found in Morrowind.

Dialogue[edit]
- Greeting:
- ""...it therefore follows that two complementary factors explain this phenomenon: the existence of prophecy and the nature of the Aedra. How, then, might we explain free will? I posit that --
- What do you want, %PCRace? Can't you see I'm trying to give a lecture?""
- Adrieldan:
- "You have found him. Have you come to learn about the Tribunal Temple? I assure you, there are none better educated and more objective than I on this subject."
- Background:
- "I'm Professer %Name. I teach Philosophies of Thought here at the College."
- College:
- "I am the longest-tenured member of the faculty. I have shared my extensive knowledge of religious and philosophical traditions with students here since the College's founding."
- Temple:
- "Yes, the Tribunal Temple is the native religion of Morrowind. You are in luck -- I am the most knowledgeable non-Dunmer on such topics you are likely to ever meet. Perhaps you have come to hear the philosophical underpinnings of my famous Trilemma? It touches on two obscure texts, and one that is quite forbidden, but I'm certain that even a novice could comprehend its core arguments..."
- "Indeed! Past and future, twin beacons of shining, eternal truth. I heard a fascinating lecture from a scholar in Laurediil that postulated a connection -- unlikely as it might seem -- between the light of Magnus and the mechanisms of the mind, informed by the passage of time. She claimed that the very act of Thought could not have come about without the withdrawal of the Magna-Ge from the world... [%Name continues on this tangent for several more minutes, before seeming to forget the original question.]"
Imperial Cult: The Star Wound[edit]
- Stories of Lorkhan:
- "You need stories about Lorkhan to show to Ashlander wise-women? It's for Tarom, you say? Very well. Take my copy of the Monomyth. It mentions the missing god at some length. As for other stories, I believe the book "Sithis" would serve your purposes well. It is somewhat obscure, and I don't know where you'd find a copy, but it outlines the creation of the world, the story of Lorkhan, through a decidedly Dunmeri lens. Perhaps Selura, the court wizard, will know where to find one." (You receive a copy of The Monomyth)
