Big Molecrab Shells are harvested, unsurprisingly, from molecrabs. The shells are tough but light, and the Telvanni use them to make a variety of light armor.
Guaranteed samples can be found in the following locations:

- Bahrammu, Marthen Redri's Shack
- Ranyon-ruhn, Catacombs: Inner Sanctum
- Sarvanni
- Tel Mothrivra, Feduro Daranith's House
