Alin - delete?[edit]
Hello Alin, I saw you deleted the page I was copying and editing from old versions of the unarmed section of the Combat page. Could you explain why you deleted the page? I think the additional information that was present in the old versions of the combat page could be presented excellently on this Unarmed Combat page. I don't think the general Combat page would need the details of the old posts made on unarmed combat. But the additional details and mechanics (and lists of brawls) involving the unarmed combat should be presented somewhere no? I created/tested most of the unarmed combat data on the orginal combat page myself too somewhere in 2012 i believe. I don't mind if you think it is not required to create this page at all, but i think it would be a waste not to present the old data somewhere, because AFAIK currently it is not presented anywhere on the recent version of this wiki and all extra information is always nice imo and some people need to vent out the info on unarmed combat I guess! I was orginally planning to link this page to the unarmed combat section on the Combat page, just like it has been done with the One-handed and other attacking options (although those are actual skills as well). I will reupload the page soon I think, let me know if it should be deleted. Unclejack (talk) 01:08, 29 June 2013 (GMT)
- A better option might be for you to create the page in a sandbox under your username (User:Unclejack/sandbox). This will allow you to create the page you want without somebody reverting it. Then you can bring it up on the Community Portal for inclusion on UESP. --Xyzzy Talk 05:54, 29 June 2013 (GMT)
Adding information about speed and stagger, if it it exists[edit]
Lycanthropy says that normal unarmed reach is 96 and werewolves have an unarmed reach of 150. Skyrim_talk:Combat#Reach_for_Unarmed_Combat says that unarmed reach is 1. The Creation Kit says that the reach values listed for weapons are used in a formula fCombatDistance * NPCScale * WeaponReach. The UESP database suggests that the value for Skyrim is 141, and that the unarmed reach for vampire lords is the same as for werewolves, 150. I'm going to make some notes on this page to that effect if no one comments.
I've been unable to find any information about unarmed attack speed, to allow the calculation of DPS values, or how it's affected by using a shield. Is this simply unknown or is it located somewhere else?
Likewise, is there anything known about how staggering with unarmed attacks compares to staggering with other weapons? Iainuki (talk) 01:35, 24 March 2017 (UTC)
"All playable races have the same unarmed reach"[edit]
Is this actually true? Last time I checked the height of a character had an effect on multiple aspects of the game, for example the melee damage, movement speed and possibly the range of melee weapons as well. I am not certain about this, hence the question. — Unsigned comment by 185.5.8.142 (talk) at 22:03 on 23 May 2017

Maximum Damaged w/o custom enchanting?[edit]
So, if I were to make an unarmed build, without trying to abuse custom enchanting mechanics. Does this calculate right?
Base Unarmed: +10 Khajiit Claws Bonus: +12 Fists of Steel Perk (with Dragonbone): +17 Brawler's Dragonplate Gauntlets: +20
Total: 59 per attack.
I know Brawler's Daedric Gauntlets have +1 in their base armour rating (so an extra +1 to their unarmed damage), but the Brawler's variant has -2 to fortify unarmed when compared to dragonbone, so you'd get 1 less to your unarmed.--TheNuclearSoldier (talk) 05:19, 31 January 2022 (UTC)
