Anywhere?[edit]
Are these NPCs really found "anywhere", as per the template? In 444 hours of playing, I have only ever seen this NPC at a scripted location near Sarethi Farm, where 2 of them were digging up a chest. They had set up a camp nearby, where the Note (treasure) was located. --Xyzzy 04:17, 4 June 2012 (UTC)
- The second type of treasure hunter is set, with only two of them appearing and in a single location. The first type is part of a wilderness encounter, so yes, pretty much anywhere. Vely►Talk►Email 16:17, 4 June 2012 (UTC)
- Is the NPC for the random encounter also called "Treasure Hunter"? I don't see it listed under World Interactions. --Xyzzy 18:05, 4 June 2012 (UTC)
- Yes. The World Interactions page says he's dead though, calls it a corpse with a note. Quest is WE100. Might have "KillOnLoad" somewhere in the script. Vely►Talk►Email 18:32, 4 June 2012 (UTC)
- (Follow-up)I just found my first random dead Treasure Hunter (after 654 hours of gameplay), and he was carrying a Treasure Hunter's Note. Console commands say he's level 9, with 238 health, and 25 magicka (my level is 48). This seems to indicate that the first template entry is for the dead random treasure hunter. --XyzzyTalk 04:11, 31 July 2012 (UTC)
