Merchants[edit]
I reverted a change that claimed there is a very slim chance for Glowing Mushrooms to appear in an apothecary merchant's inventory. Looking at the inventory lists of all the apothecary merchants I can't see how this could be, so a concrete example of a merchant would be good. All I can think of would be, either selling them a Glowing Mushroom first, they have it in the sales inventory then or perhaps a non-apothecary merchant that for some reason has a warlock inventory list. --Alfwyn 13:57, 19 January 2012 (UTC)
- Actually The Hag's Cure sells a single one. It is the one lying in the store (000ca953) with an owner of ServicesMarkarthHagsCure. --Alfwyn 18:27, 20 January 2012 (UTC)

- Wanted to add to this, on a recent character I was able to purchase Glowing Mushroom from both the Hag's Cure and Elgrim's Elixers. In both cases their inventories had the mushrooms the first time I accessed them and they replenished the supply twice from Elgrim's and three times from Hag's Cure.Character had no perks in the speech tree. — Unsigned comment by Realistical (talk • contribs) at 22:22 on 21 January 2012
Cause of Falmer blindness?[edit]
Where is the reference for this rumour ingame? plus, the book 'The Falmer: A study' mentions that the toxic mushrooms that caused the falmers blindness ONCE grew deep underground. Vos 02:55, 12 May 2012 (UTC)
- I think I've seen Falmer using harvested samples as a foodsource before. However, it's never explicitly stated that these are the mushrooms that the Dwemer used, so I've removed the sentence from the article. --Legoless 15:47, 12 May 2012 (UTC)
Easy, risk-free source[edit]
The first chamber of Lost Echo Cave has around 20 Glowing Mushroom samples, and is entirely free of enemies. There are quite a few more in the second section, but you have to fight for them. 174.6.51.17 23:54, 17 February 2014 (GMT)
Difficulties Harvesting These?[edit]
Has anyone else had a hard time picking glowing mushrooms? The cursor detection window seems to be very touchy, as I can be aiming the crosshair right at a mushroom and still be unable to harvest it. I can only pick it when I either aim very carefully at the mushroom's whiskers, or wave the crosshair around at random while hitting the "use" key until something happens. By contrast, all types of mushrooms that grow on the floor, like bleeding crown, are very easy to harvest, as I can aim anywhere near the cluster. FrozenWolf150 (talk) 20:53, 7 July 2015 (UTC)
