Thugs

Beast form.

Just tested this as werewolf, he was asleep but he didn't become hostile after roaring. — Unsigned comment by 120.18.127.46 (talk) at 01:57 on 9 March 2013‎

Per our resident news reporter, I tried this out in-game and he indeed was not hostile when I transformed into a werewolf right in front of him (humorously, he was more concerned that I didn't have any clothes on and said, "It should be embarrassed to be uncovered so."). Admittedly, I've never really used beast form much in Skyrim, but from what I can tell from this page, he should become hostile like most other characters.
