Skyrim talk:Absorb Magicka
Where did this come from?[edit]
I decided, while wandering around exploring, to transmute some of my iron ore into gold ore, as I could be discovering things while waiting for magicka to recharge between spells, a matter of 15 second or more. At least, that's what I thought. On casting the first spell (which currently costs me 84 magicka), the magicka bar was full again within a couple of seconds. What? Very nice! Checking my active effects shows one named Drain Magicka, with a description +25 Fortify Magicka 2 hours. I just completed Under Saarthal, and after a good night's kip at the College, came out into the courtyard to find a dragon attacking. I've killed that, and wandering out into Winterhold met the Frightened Woman with whom I had some sort of interaction, although it is difficult to say what as I was talking to Lydia when she showed up and things must have got confused; she (the frightened woman) just said "Thank You" and ran on her way. Then I wandered out into the snowy wastes E of Winterhold, where I discovered my new, if temporary, power. Obviously I have no complaint, but I'd like to know where this effect came from, to see if I can get it again. Peterguard 09:44, 29 February 2012 (UTC)
