This is as good a place to die as any. I can no longer bear the shame of failure, or endure the silent judgement of my brothers. My very hands, unworthy of our mother tongue, tremble as I write this last farewell. I hope that my bones, at least, will mark the way to Initiate's Rest, where deserving Initiates can find the peace that illuded [sic] me.
