Glacial Chapel is is a temple to Auri-El in the Forgotten Vale, located near the exit of Glacial Crevice and the Falmer Fissure.

Exterior

The entrance is located uphill from the dwelling place of the Diamond Paragon-holding Frost Giant. The cave mouth opens in the mountainside near the uppermost Quicksilver Ore vein.

Interior

The cave entrance leads down a slope to a large space inside the glacier. On the right, an ancient Chantry structure including a door pokes out of the ice.

An unmoving door

If you climb the stairs and investigate the door, it will be impossible to open. Perhaps something will trigger it to open, but you won’t find anything at this point.

The Chapel

Ahead and to the left, a chapel area with three rows of pews faces a Shrine of Auriel. Ominously, three skeletons are toppled over on the floor amongst the benches.

A dramatic event will be triggered a few seconds after you enter the chapel area: Three Phantom Paladins appear out of thin air, and a horde of Falmer storm the chapel from the back of the cave.
