Ghorza gra-Bagol needs your help with her apprentice

Quick Walkthrough[edit]

The skill book in Fort Sungard Muster
  1. Visit Ghorza gra-Bagol at her blacksmith shop during business hours.
  2. Retrieve the skill book Last Scabbard of Akrash.

Detailed Walkthrough[edit]

When visiting her shop during business hours, you can hear Ghorza gra-Bagol berating the smithing skills of her hapless apprentice, Tacitus Sallustius. She mentions a skill book, Last Scabbard of Akrash, that might teach him something.

The marker points to Fort Sungard, which is south of Rorikstead. The fort is well guarded by Forsworn and the book is in Fort Sungard Muster. However, you do not need to retrieve this exact copy of the book; any copy will do. The other two locations are Gallows Rock and an unmarked area south-southeast of Black-Briar Lodge. With the Bloodchill Manor Creation installed, a copy can also be found on a shelf to the right of the Manor's smithing area.

For retrieving the book, she will reward you with a free smithing lesson and will tell you that she is advising the Orc Strongholds that you can be trusted and that you should now be welcome in them.

Quest Stages[edit]

Skilled Apprenticeship (FreeformMarkarthL)
Stage Finishes Quest Journal Entry
10
Objective 10: Bring The Last Scabbard of Akrash to Ghorza
  • The following empty quest stages were omitted from the table: 20, 200.
Notes
  • Any text displayed in angle brackets (e.g., <Alias=LocationHold>) is dynamically set by the Radiant Quest system, and will be filled in with the appropriate word(s) when seen in game.
  • Not all Journal Entries may appear in your journal; which entries appear and which entries do not depends on the manner in which the quest is done.
  • Stages are not always in order of progress. This is usually the case with quests that have multiple possible outcomes or quests where certain tasks may be done in any order. Some stages may therefore repeat objectives seen in other stages.
  • If an entry is marked as "Finishes Quest" it means the quest disappears from the Active Quest list, but you may still receive new entries for that quest.
  • On the PC, it is possible to use the console to advance through the quest by entering setstage FreeformMarkarthL stage, where stage is the number of the stage you wish to complete. It is not possible to un-complete (i.e. go back) quest stages, but it is possible to clear all stages of the quest using resetquest FreeformMarkarthL.
