Shel

Shel is an Orc warrior and the third wife of Chief Burguk in the Orc stronghold of Dushnikh Yal.

Unlike the other two wives, Arob and Gharol (who slave in the stronghold day and night), Shel is clearly the favored wife and gets to spend all her time with her husband, doing absolutely nothing. She simply stands next to her husband while he relaxes outside the longhouse between 7am and 7pm. She then enters the longhouse for a five-hour dinner before she goes to bed at midnight for seven hours of sleep.

She wears a set of tavern clothes with boots, wields a leveled mace, and carries a number of arrows for her leveled bow. She also carries the key to the longhouse and a selection of middle-class items, food, and gold.

Conversations

In the evenings, she can be heard talking to the chief about Gharol:

Shel: "My chief, Gharol threatens to have me work in the mines. You won't allow my pretty hands to dirty, will you?"

Burguk: "No, my wife. You have been given other gifts to please your chief than mine work. I will talk to Gharol and all will be well."

Shel: "Oh, thank you my chief!"
